Now they do and it's called The Playhouse.Located on Decatur Boulevard near Arizona Charlies, the Playhouse is a space in progress as pointed out last night by one of the company's founders. The space can be configured in any number of ways, and I look forward to seeing future shows of PRP and see how the directors choose to use the space. For the inaugural show, they are doing Lizzie the Musical, a musical about Lizzie Borden. There are four very talented women who do the roles and there ism a wonderful live band which is great!I'd recommend this theatre company to anyone. They do good work. And, I'm glad they have a home of their own, the Playhouse!"

The show is very entertaining and a wonderful journey thru the life and career of Johnny Cash. We loved the selection of songs (both well know and deep tracks as well). Overall, we had a great experience watching this great group of singers and musicians!"

Allison B. "This is a brand new show at the V theatre. Being a local I hate having to pay to park but at Miracle Mile shops where this theatre is located offers free parking . Since this is brand new I had no idea what to expect from the show . I just know I love Gaga and Brit so why not ? Especially since it allowed my children . It was a Monday night show that we attended so our audience wasn't as interactive as the prior review posted but I for one was singing along . The show started off with Madonna and I quickly noticed how amazing the dancers were . These guys impressed me sooooo much they legit went non stop the whole show . They definitely connect with the audience and have major skills . They are lots of fun to watch I sadly didn't catch their names but they rock and are easy on the eyes . Next up was Britney Spears tribute artist and she looks so much like the real deal and personally I feel she sings better than the original. If you enjoy the music and love the idea of seeing a live performance with sexy guys talking about being a womanizer or toxic not to mention hit me baby one More time .Last but not least is Lady Gaga played by @VegasChristina who stole the show with her piano standing skills and cheerful vibe she is the one who interacted with us most of the show and her Gaga is Amazing .Personally I am excited to see this show again the next time one of my pals visits because all the videos I posted to Snapchat had my friends believing that I was seeing a real concert but this is nice fun song and dance experience that is child friendly and showcases real talent .Plus the waitress who is working the theatre beverages was super awesome .I hope this show ends up sticking around but either way it was tons of fun for my family since I'm a baller on a budget this fills my fix for sexy blonde pop stars .I can't give you a breakdown in the same way the other review did but I will say this is a group of amazing dancers , awesome females & enjoyable nostalgia."

Renee N. "First time at this new theater was last week. I had been wanting to see Past Lives and checked their website and they were showing on a Friday afternoon. I was able to purchase my tickets online. The cost was $10 a good deal. I arrived and was able to secure a parking spot right outside the theater. They open the doors about 15 minutes before showtime. When I walked in, I was so impressed with how clean and pristine the theater is. The aisle leading to the theater has some classic old movie posters framed which is a nice touch. The snack bar is really a treat. Along with candies of all kinds, they offer both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to purchase. I saw soda, water, wine, beer, kombucha and some white claw, and there were other drinks too. They also offer popcorn and Beverly Theater merchandise.Staff was very friendly and were able to answer any and all questions. When it was time to enter the theater, I went first so I could get a pic of the seating (minus people). The seats are not as comfortable as some of the luxury theaters but they aren't uncomfortable. They are just a little stiff. The screen itself is not as big as your normal theater but that is because this room is also used for other events such as poetry readings and concerts. Since the Village Square theater has now closed here is where you will find foreign films, older films and more culturally diverse films. Overall my experience here was great. The movie was good, the sound was clear and the theater stayed cool and comfortable. This space features a bright white outdoor patio and another outdoor space upstairs. One of the staff informed me that on the weekends, there is live jazz music performed by various groups and it's on the upstairs patio. It is free to attend.I am so glad this theater opened and can't wait to attend more movies and events here."

I came here for a special Juneteenth Black Swan Hour program put on my Vegas City Opera. Before the show, I got a chance to view their annual art contest. This is special about this Arts Center--even when there isn't a large art display, there is a small gallery that almost always has art to enjoy.Ticketing is done by the City of Las Vegas using the Ovation Tix platform and having your ticket on the phone is super easy and convenient. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We are fortunate to have spaces like this run by the city and/or county. It really makes our community richer!"

Stefany V. "I like trying new things, from dishes I haven't heard of to unusual entertainment options. A few friends put LVLT on my radar, and I took a colleague to check out the local community theater scene with The Birds. Online ticket ordering process was easy, location is not difficult to find, plenty of parking, and the staff are welcoming. Our show didn't have an intermission, which might be a bit of a blessing because the chairs began to get uncomfortable. The performance wasn't what I expected, and was only vaguely related to the original source material. I'll blame the writing rather than the acting for my disappointment, and note that the audio, lighting, etc were all good. But the story itself had some (intentional?) plot holes and didn't come together cohesively, and there was a lot of profanity that served no purpose. Just not for me, I guess. Many of the audience members around us seemed to be season ticket holders, and as we exited, even they were commenting that this was one of the strangest performances they'd seen here, so I'll keep an eye on future shows and maybe give something else a try."

Roger T. "ONE WORD: CHEESY.The way I see it, the only people that might like this show and actually understand it are those that were born before the 80's. That's why I think it's an ok show, because I actually experienced that era. From what I noticed, the 90's and beyond babies that were in the crowd had no idea about the material that was being presented. It's all about the 80's from music, to movies, to clothes, and everything in between. Of course the actors that portray their characters are all in their 20's. Im assuming they had to do a lot of "research" by watching a lot of teen movies like "The Breakfast Club", "Sixteen Candles" and "Say Anything" just to name a few. These guys actually do a pretty good job doing their skits and singing popular one hit wonder songs like, "Take On Me", "Whip It", and "Addicted to love".In the end I gotta admit I had a decent time reliving my childhood and pre teen years"

It's hosted by a fabulous drag queen and its a coed burlesque dancing show with four guys and four girls. This show was definitely done tastefully. No real nudity is shown because all the dancers wear pasties to cover their nipples. But it is risqué and raunchy! I had a great time. The dancers had great routines and it was overall very entertaining. They dapple in different types of dance including Polynesian hula dancing, pole dancing, a little bit of contemporary ballet, jazz etc. The highlights of the show for me we're definitely from the women. There was a sensual dance involving a shower that was incredible and sexy! I love the pole dance. That girl was so strong and graceful she pulled her body up that pole like no other. The hostess was funny and entertaining as well. I would recommend seeing it!"

There was a contortionist and some acrobatics as well as that overall surreal dream vibe you get from Cirque shows. This show also features several new magicians, so you will have a little less exposure to Criss. They're good, though, including a very impressive reenactment of Houdini's escape from a straight jacket while submerged in water. The show is supposed be the story of Criss's life, but it was a bit hard too follow that story. Maybe they are still working on the story since the show is new. Definitely worth checking out, especially now while they're offering package deals for both shows or a discount if you come back another time to check out Amystika."

There are some VIP tables right in front of the stage and then several rows of seats. It's small enough that there really isn't a bad seat in the place. There were just a handful of dancers - all blonde. Two were really good. The rest were ho-hum. Some of the costumes were good, some were terrible. The music selection was good. And some of the dance scenes were really well done. And some were just awkward. The show is divided into two parts with a comedian in between. The comedian was actually pretty funny. She was definitely one of the better parts of the show. All in all, I was quite entertained and I never once wondering "is this almost over yet?". So in my book, that makes it a success."

Sometimes with families, it is better that way.So after much discussion and reviews of the options, the in-laws decided to see the Ultimate Variety Show. Bought the tickets online for a show the next day. It is sort of a cross between the variety shows from old Vegas and what you might see on a cruise ship. The theater is....retro and intimate. All of the seats, except a few obstructed with a supporting beam, have a good view of the stage. If you sit close, you might become part of the show. The MC, Wally Eastwood, kept the flow as well as doing some assorted tricks like juggling, jokes and playing the piano with a tennis ball. The other acts of included a very good magician, a balancing duo, a hoop specialist, and a comedian. The Crazy Gauchos lived up to their name with their crazy drum routine. The show changes regularly, so you never know what acts you might see. Tickets were just $50 with taxes and fees on Vegas.com. Show starts at 7 PM. The theater is small and really really old the sound and the technology is from 20 years ago and you can tell it to age. After we sat down, we could smell peoples vomit that was left behind from previous shows. It was quite disgusting. The singer and dancers are obviously very talented, and the tribute to the legends of Las Vegas back in the 40s 50s and 60s was nice. My cousin's guy turned out to be the hottest one (a former Janice Dickinson model). So, for the content I was somewhat prepared and the nail gun "trick" was something I have seen specifically done before by someone else, maybe Penn and Teller? Either way, it doesn't matter. Gerry McCambridge not only does an outstanding job but he is literally The Mentalist. From the internet: "In 2002 Gerry wrote his first TV script titled "The Mentalist" and took it out to Los Angeles to pitch it to the major networks. Jeff Zucker, the president of NBC witnessed Gerry's live performances many times, and instantly licensed the special for his network. Teri W. "I am going out on a limb here by giving this show 4 stars, but when it was all said and done, I was PUMPED!I don't consider myself a "fan" of Cee Lo Green's. He's weird. His music is weird. He likes to carry around a cat and there was a video montage during the show about how much he loves "pussy." But, I went in to this with an open mind and just tried to tell myself that it was a great opportunity to see a very talented individual in a small theater.I have to say - I don't think the late start to the show every night is Cee Lo's fault. For some reason, Planet Hollywood has decided to double book the Peep Show theater, and I just don't think they are capable of turning it over quickly enough. So, as everyone else has mentioned - we were there around 11:45pm for a show that was to start at Midnight. However, the theater doors had not opened yet (when heading up the escalators, the people who just left Peep Show were on their way down). So we waited. And waited. And waited some more. For some reason, it was approximately 1000 degrees outside the theater, and once the doors openend, it was obvious that it was going to take at least 30 minutes to get everyone inside. My friend and I estimated that the show wouldn't start until at least 1. I think it ended up being closer to 1:30...call me old, but that is LATE for any show, even one in Vegas. Very poor planning.Anyhow, I guess we were there for the official "opening," and we were there near a very pregnant Holly Madison and Coco (her replacement in Peep Show). Neither seemed to enjoy the show much, and I can't say I blame them. The 1st hour of the show was laughable. Cee Lo thinks he needs to tell stupid jokes and comes off like he is wasted. I thought that the dancers were awesome - it was nice to see some girls with meat on their bones up there shaking it! Cee Lo's outfits are interesting....it literally looks like he is wearing different curtains up there. The Boy George impersanator (I refuse to believe that was really Boy George, especially because this person was obviously lip synching all of the songs - and not very well I might add) was HORRIBLE. Bascially my friend and I just sat there, laughing and saying WHAT THE F&*K?! The entire time. But then, something changed.....a special appearance by Goodie Mob, and everyone in that joint was hyped! We were out of our seats, dancing, and singing along. They really saved the show.A couple of notes: you must be 21 to attend this show. There are A LOT of sexual references and innuendos, so it's not for those who are easily offended. There is no photography or cell phone usage allowed in the theater. The ushers came around telling everyone to put their phones away - at this point the start of the show was delayed at least an hour, so I basically told her that I would put it away once the show started (because who knew when that would be). I saw people getting kicked out for trying to take pictures during the show - apparently some people will never learn.I ended up leaving there with a smile on my face, partly because I am easily entertained, but also because it was FUN. It is a small, intimate theater and tickets are not outrageously priced. There are some bad things (the late start, the wait, the shameless product placement and plugs, the weird video montages), but at the end of the night - it was a weird, good time."

In that time, I have seen 28 of their productions and it has been a wonderful ride with the various casts. One thing first--A Public Fit is no longer at the address listed on this review page. The company lost its performing space there and have been at two different places since. The company now does several staged readings a year at the Clark County Library. The programs were so successful that the company moved from the library's small Jewel Box Theatre to the main theatre. For their staged shows, they have been using the Super Summer Studio Theatres. The thing that keeps me coming back is the fact that their works are not plays that have been performed in other theaters in Las Vegas. The company picks scripts that make you think and many times grab you with a white hot intensity, and they send you home often to do some further research.Under the leadership of Ann Marie Pareth and Joseph Kucan, one can always expect to come away from a production moved in some way. After each show, there is a brief intermission and then there is "The Buzz." During the Buzz, members of the cast answer questions and there's a give and take from the audience that stays for the Buzz and the cast and Joe. Questions are answered and sometimes new ones are generated! The area is richer for having this wonderful company continue in its 10th year. Support them. They deserve it!"

T his show as it all, it is classy, intriguing, entertaining and truely amazing. Dita Von Teese herself is simply beautiful, sophiticated, classy, aluring and captivating. The other male and female performers in this show also wonderful and exhibit the same qualities. The costumes, music, dance, choreography, and props used throught out the show were extraordinary and stunning. We were seated along the runway about 1/4 from the mainstage and had a wonderful view of the entire show since the performances and acts utilize the entire mainstage and runway. We definately want to see Dita Von Teese again and perhaps get seats a little further back more in the center of the venue just to get a better overall view of the show. After purchasing a drink you can find your seats inside the venue. As you await for the show to start take as many pictures as you can as quickly as you can before the grumpy security people tell you to sit in your seats. It was a little irritating because you want to be able to capture memories that you paid a lot for and the security (ahem..old grumpy people) will tell you that you're not able to. Let me make memories!!! Once the show is on you are on your feet singing and dancing throughout the show. They preform all of the old hits we have come to love and a few of their newer songs. I even got pulled up on stage for one song, which I usually don't want to do, but I figured what the heck since I was having so much fun (nothing better than several beautiful women dancing and singing around you - my comment was that I must of died and went to heaven). We also love the Pegasus showroom at the Alexis. This venue is quaint, sound and lights great, staff is helpful and friendly, and parking free. The best thing was that the entire cast did a meet and greet photo opportunity at the end of the show. Thank you for a wondeful evening of entertainment and the once in a life time stage experience!"

May A. "Nice Indoor Park In the Sam's Town Hotel [Las Vegas NV]While I did not experience the laser and light show the indoor park was still nice to visit in the daytime. I went for a visit on a Sunday afternoon. The park was pretty with a gazebo in the courtyard, a recreation of a wooded area with lush greenery, animatronic wildlife, and a gushing waterfall. It is free to walk inside, relax, and enjoy a peaceful setting. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy selfies and take a photo.Looking forward to returning and watching the laser and light show, maybe during winter when the park comes alive with its lighted trees and snow-covered lampstands and all the wintery stuff during the holiday season.Sam's Town is in East Las Vegas... probably a good 20 mins from The Strip. Plenty of parking.Review #3530"

Kiki G. "It was a fun, interactive time. If you aren't into being a part of the show, this may not be for you. I, on the other hand, enjoyed my dances with Paulie Walnuts and Uncle Jr. Also, my enjoyment was enhanced since I was also a fan of the series. If you aren't a fan of this HBO show, then don't bother. I would suggest getting tickets through Tix 4 Tonight, as they are about half price. Was the show worth $75? Umm, no. So, I'm glad I only paid $40.Oh, yes. And they say words like "fuck", "cocksucker", and "shit" a lot. If you are offended by this kind of language, then this show is not for you. Then again, if you are reading this review, then you already know me and are used to the potty talk."
