WHY is it so hard for them to go to the marked pickup spot???? I've been here a couple of times for Lee's Wine event & with tables being around the walls & all you have to do is go in a circle with a couple coves to dip in its easy to maneuver. This is NOT my favorite location for Lee's though. It's a pain to get to, traffic is busy during these events & this past Sat. the line was horribly long. They have to come up with a better plan. Not sure what they changed this time??I did go here once for a UNLV game & things were cool. Food & drinks were easy to get & finding our seats were easy. Comfy seats, good view & could hear the game. Plenty of bathrooms as you make your way around too."

Stephen K. "The OMD is a really decent venue. The staff is friendly, ample parking is available, the venue and bathrooms are clean and the sound is above average. I believe it's an all ages venue but it's connected to a sub shop which also serves beer to the 21+ crowd. This being said, there are some areas for improvement. First would be the omnipresent disco ball effect which is throwing laser type light throughout the venue. It's not terrible...I just wish it wouldn't be on ALL the time. Also, (and I've only gone to one show here so far), the promotion of events probably needs a bit of a tweak since the attendance was quite sparse. I was disappointed that the one band I wanted to see ended up breaking down and not making it to the show. Granted, this isn't the fault of the venue but it did effect my experience. I'll give OMD the benefit of the doubt and update my review if my next concert experience is better but for now, I'd rate the venue a 4 with my experience being a 2 with an average rating of 3. I'll definitely come back and hopefully it'll be a good turnout (with both bands and attendees being present)."

Roger T. "ONE WORD: CHEESY.The way I see it, the only people that might like this show and actually understand it are those that were born before the 80's. That's why I think it's an ok show, because I actually experienced that era. From what I noticed, the 90's and beyond babies that were in the crowd had no idea about the material that was being presented. It's all about the 80's from music, to movies, to clothes, and everything in between. Of course the actors that portray their characters are all in their 20's. Im assuming they had to do a lot of "research" by watching a lot of teen movies like "The Breakfast Club", "Sixteen Candles" and "Say Anything" just to name a few. These guys actually do a pretty good job doing their skits and singing popular one hit wonder songs like, "Take On Me", "Whip It", and "Addicted to love".In the end I gotta admit I had a decent time reliving my childhood and pre teen years"

The ushers were friendly and led us to our 10th row floor seats. The floor seats are banquet/convention hall type chairs, so no arm rests. Since the seats are attached to each other, it does get a little tight especially if one of your seatmates to the left or right of you is on the larger side.As for Chelsea, she was funny and put on an entertaining show. They went on to become successful in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Luckily, they didn't sing their early hits in full length and just clips of them in the form of a medley. They performed their songs in chronological timeline so when they got to the 70's that's when the fun started (for me). This tribute of The Bee Gees also sang two of their youngest brother, Andy's, hits: "Shadow Dancing and "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away." And I don't know if Maurice in real life was as funny as the Mo in the concert but he was a comedian that evening. LoL! The music performance was fun as they sang their hits like 'Night Fever,' 'Staying Alive,' 'You Should Be Dancing,' 'How Deep Is Your Love,' 'Jive Talkin' and many got up to dance when Mo invited everyone to get up for Mo's Dance Party. This tribute to the Bee Gees takes the stage at the Excalibur Hotel and had us dancing and singing the night away. The show was about 1 hour, 10 minutes and featured state-of-the-art sound and lighting and giant screens displaying video clips and graphics in the background. By doing some original music as well as covering others, it made for a variety of styles. The one thing I didn't like about Goss and some other performers is the "raise your hands and clap with me." When this year we planned the trip in early February I was a bit skeptical about coming to Vegas during the winter and how that might impact our experience and itinerary (which usually includes an epic Vegas pool party). Lucky for us, we didn't have to omit an epic pool party from our itinerary after all because... enter the "Marquee Dome Pool Party" which is open year-round! We admittedly weren't totally sure what to expect with this "winter pool party under a dome", but we had an absolute blast. They keep it super warm under the dome and once inside, we literally felt like we were transported to summer. The service was fantastic (shout-out to Cat our amazing cocktail server and Kalaeo, as well as our promoter Brian T) and the music and environment was great. I will also say that as a group of women, we all commented after we left on how incredibly impressed we were with how thoughtful and conscientious the staff at Marquee is around ensuring their female clientele feel safe, special, and happy. Romeo the bouncer had our back the entire time, checking in with us, making sure we weren't in any uncomfortable situations, and just genuinely keeping the environment feeling fun and secure so we could be at ease and have a blast! Apparently the food there is also very good though we admittedly did not try any (maybe next time!). I can however speak for the drinks which we very much enjoyed. In terms of swimming, we had heard that only 10% of people swim at the dome pool party, but it was definitely more than that (I'd say about 30-40% swimming). We saw some people in more "normal casual clothes" (jeans, polo shirts, etc.) vs. swim attire but would recommend wearing clothes more on par with a traditional pool party (swimsuit, cover up, trunks for guys) given the heat under the dome, nature of the event, and that you're surrounded by pools and (gentle) splashing. (It really is a winter pool party and they do a great job trapping the heat under the dome to make it comfortable for pool party apparel. Even though we felt a bit funny walking in our swimsuits and coverups heading through the lobby before we reached the entrance to Marquee, we were all glad that we were dressed that way once we got inside!) We spent about 4-5 hours "under the dome" dancing and smiling ear to ear the entire time. Even on a random cold early Feb. day it was a rager! The dome pool party is honestly such a brilliant idea and it truly exceeded all our expectations. 10/10 would recommend!"

It's a really good replica but does not quite reach the bar. Let me start with the good first though:1. The service was excellent, I wish I could remember the waitresses name, but she was very nice and took the time to explain everything we wanted to know. The staff is excellent.2. The mac and cheese and corn bread were very good; we order more of both.3. The ambiance was really nice as well; it was very fitting for a good bbq joint. You feel very comfortable when eating inside. Now the bad:1. The brisket was a little dry, unless you're eating the fatty end, it missed the mark. The flavor also just was not really there, maybe we just got slices with very little bark/flavor.2. The sausage was extremely smokey. We honestly could not finish eating all the sausage because the smoke flavor was too overwhelming.3. The price. "Holy cow" was it ridiculous. I don't care if managers say, "it's market value", they are full of it. For what we ordered, it came out to around $92 for TWO of us. For that amount of food in Texas would be $35+ less.Honestly, is it the best Texas bbq here in Vegas, probably not. Is it better than a lot of other places claiming to be the best? Yes. Take this review with a grain of salt, I'm not trying to upset anyone or claim I'm some impressive food critic. I honestly think I was ruined to Texas bbq here in Vegas after eating actual Texas bbq over there."

I was able to snag a pair of free tickets to this concert for one day (Panic at the Disco headlined with Passion Pit the day I went). Discounted tickets were also available through Groupon. The festival was held at the MGM Resorts Village.I parked at Mandalay Bay and hoofed it to the Village to avoid parking fees. Entry into the festival was pain free and there weren't any lines to speak of. Once I was fitted with my chipped bracelet, I was able to walk right in after scanning myself in. Plastic wine glasses could be picked up at one of the first booths you see when you walk in. The first glass is free, try not to lose it! Since this is a "cash-free" festival, funds have to be loaded onto bracelets in increments of 10. I loaded $20 and was able to make it last throughout the night. I had $2 left over, and just gave it as a tip to one on the wine pourers so it didn't go to waste. If you want a refund, there's a $5 processing fee. The cashless thing kind of blows, but it seems likes it's a trend among large festivals.... There was a mix of local food trucks and weird carnival food at the event. I ended up going with Slidin' Thru's caprese sliders. Yummers! Food prices were average concert prices (nothing to be upset about). As a self-procliamed wino, I was in heaven at Wine Amplified. There were rows upon rows of wine vendors at the ready. Each booth carried at least 2-3 wines. Samples started at $2, and glasses started at $6. I liked just about every wine I tried. While I can't say I'm a fan of the lineup, I still enjoyed the music and overall vibe. Andrew McMahon put on a surprisingly good show. The main stage was amazing and actually better than the stages at Life is Beautiful. Two large screens were placed next to the stage - you could see the concert going on from eons away. I loved that green turf was laid out over the asphalt, allowing concert goers to sit and relax while watching the show. Besides the main stage, there was also a "Rave Cave" bumping EDM and a "speakeasy" playing live tunes on a more intimate level. The speakeasy was a nice touch because the area was filled with couches, chairs and two bars. The only thing missing was A/C!My only complaints are that there aren't any 'real' bathrooms available and that the cashless system is not my favorite. Norm K. "This musical ran for 23 performances before going on hiatus to return in September according to press releases. I waited for a while before getting my ticket because I wanted the show to make any changes during/after the preview period. Then I read that the show would be closing on 17 June and ostensibly reopening in September. I know that the Strip is littered with shows that went on hiatus never to return.Given that the show was closing, I quickly bought a ticket for Tuesday, 12 June and I went again last night--closing night--on a comp ticket. Seeing the show twice gave me the chance to mull over my initial thoughts and to look for things I may have missed the first time. The cast is outstanding! Ruby Lewis, Travis Cloer, and Randal Keith are vocally superb! Frank Lawson, Charlie--Marilyn Monroe's driver--was also solid voice in the production. There are some problems with the show that I perceive. While the company has excellent dancers, there are times that they're dancing that it just doesn't make sense like during an argument between Monroe and Darryl Zanuck. This after Zanuck yelled at her to get out of his office. Instead, she stays, they sing, the dancers dance, and the scene continues when it should have ended.I liked the counterpoint offered by Norma Jean and Monroe but I can see how some thought this was awkward or just didn't understand. Last, the biggest change I'd make is the ending. It's a bit much to have the death scene followed quickly by a pert Monroe singing "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." I know this is done to bring the cast out for their curtain call but I think it would have been better simply to end the show, wait a few moments for the quick change of clothes for Lewis, bring the dancers out from the wings for their curtain call, and then bring out the principals. At that time, Lewis could break into her "Diamonds" song and it would be more sensible than what is done now.One last mention about the small band/orchestra (does one string player make an orchestra?). They are excellent. Now let's dump some of the less successful songs and modify the story a bit, cut down on the yelling, and reopen in September and turn this into a hit! I can only hope!"

It was fun night listening to different DJ's from the expo spinning music on stage. The venue is small and cozy. There are two bars, one on each side of the venue if you wanted to get a drink. They also had cocktail waitresses taking drink orders. Drinks were only $8 which was a plus."

Justin G. "Swan Dive is the newest music venue that just opened up in Arts District. Located in The Colorado development, Swan Dive has a large stage/dance floor and a massive second floor balcony that provides great views of Main Street and the downtown area. We stopped by on Sunday night and the place was dead but there is a lot of potential once they get more bands (hopefully a lot of local ones). As of my visit (April 2024), they do have a rare weekend happy hour from 4pm-9pm on Saturdays/Sundays.The bar is just standard drinks, nothing special. Unfortunately there is no dedicated parking for the venue so you will have to hunt for spots just like everyone else."

Steven W. "This was my second EDC in Las Vegas and boy was it an amazing experience. It was memorable, euphoric, and mesmerizing. I was able to go all 3 days this year. The energy is like no other. It wasn't too hot this year and both Saturday and Sunday had some wind. Presentation and the stages are out of this world, as was the fireworks show and the drone shows. I say everyone who loves music as a whole should check out EDC at least once. I had a great time. The only thing was the preferred parking which we paid and on the first day, it took us 3.5 hours to just get out of the parking lot because it was 1 lane and they let other parking lots go first for some reason. Otherwise the experience was phenomenal."
