"I wish this wasn't so far away from me.Oh well.I'm glad we came here for lunch and now know that this exists.I had the pork rice bowl with plantains.So. Much. Flavor. The pork was so tender.... You barely had to chew The perfect bite was a bit of rice, pork and plantain. A bit sweet with a whole lot of savory. Tasty Yums! The husband had the Beef Mofungo. The beef was a bit tough. The Mofungo was savory and hearty and oh so good.Plus the garlic gravy, sauce was amazing! Yes, it was garlic -y.I love garlic so it was right up my alley.Ambience is relaxing, casual. If I'm on this side of town aga, I will be sure to swing by.(We were at One Stop Trim Shop which is just a couple blocks away.)"
"Well, it's been a LONG TIME since a business earned a 5-star rating from me! HOLY SMOKES! *This dining experience was on Friday, July 26th, 2024, party of 2, first-time diners at this establishment.Quick Things you MUST KNOW about this restaurant:- The ideal guest is someone who appreciates food & beverage quality, presentation, and time it takes to have that quality! (This is not fast food!)- It's a GREAT first date option!!! And they have a happy hour.- There's a patio, and live music during nice weather months.- Padrino's means "The Godfather"... so expect that theme ;)- It's only 3 years old, so it's clean and fresh, and beautiful and because they opened during Covid, they have VERY high sanitation standards.- There is a private dining room with a private entrance for high profile guests! I never see this anymore! So cool!!!- Breakfast is served all day! :D- The prices are completely reasonable for what you get!- AND... I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!! :DI live out in the NW, so I don't tend to drive 30+ minutes to get dinner, but this was an invite from a friend and after I visited the website, I decided to go for it! I actually really appreciated the location (being only 2 minutes off the freeway). I think I need to preface this review by saying, we arrived about 8:15pm on a Friday night and reasonably expected it to be busy, then walked in and NO ONE was dining in the main dining room. The place was EMPTY!!!! (there was a small group in the private dining room that was finishing up, but it was 100% just us the rest of the night!). So we felt very spoiled, but also very confused! hahaMy friend and I were seated and given a brief introduction of the menu and how it's designed/created, which was pretty fascinating! Most people see the label "Latin Cuisine" and mentally jump to "Mexican food". But this is definitely not a Mexican restaurant! Padrino's is the ONLY restaurant in town with one dish from EACH Latin country, the most authentic way possible. For example, the paella rice is imported from Spain and every dish is made to order, not made in advance and heated up. WOW! I freakin love that!My friend and I ordered the following items: (don't judge us!! LOL) - Bacon Wrapped Dates... OMG, like crack.- Traditional Ceviche (they also have mango)- Queso Fundido- Colombian Mahi-Mahi- Argentinian Lamb Chops- Patatas Bravas Con Carne- CHURROS ;P*** Guys... I can't even.... the food and beverages were out of this world amazing! My friend and I were nearly CRYING at the fact that this place was empty because we felt like ALL the locals are completely missing out on this!Ambiance:- The lighting and music were spot on. I'm interested to know if the volume of the music changes with more people inside.- The temperature in the room was PERFECT, while they had the windows open to the patio. How did they even do that?! It's July in Vegas?! LOL- There's GLITTER IN THE GROUT!!!! When you go to the bathroom, you'll see what I mean! Talk about attention to detail!!! :DPADRINO'S - KEEP IT UP AND I HOPE MY REVIEW INSPIRES MORE VISITORS, EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE SLOW SUMMER MONTHS. UNTIL NEXT TIME~"

"It was my birthday and I'm very satisfied on what I got the crispy protein wrap. My mother got the breakfast empanada and my sister got the steak and eggs. Everything was good so was my drink. I tried a little bit of my sister's peach drink it looks like an alcoholic beverage, but it's not. Tasted good when I come back here again yes everybody that was very nice. and the food there was good.!"
"I'm keeping this at 5 stars. Their status on my taco list has dropped, however. I can't put my finger on it yet. The pork belly and steak tacos were good but not amazing like last time. The store bought tortillas somehow stood out more this time... and that's not a good thing."
"The best Salvadorian food in Las Vegas. You can't go wrong with eating at this amazing place. The popusas are the best in town."
"This hole in the wall place is a must try. My friend told me about it when we were leaving the bar and it's great they are 24 hrs. I decided to get there birria quesadilla. The meat was so tender and juicy with the right amount of melted Oaxaca cheese. Your choice of rice and beans or sour cream and guacamole. Their red salsa was a good balance of smoke and heat."

Love this amazing hidden gem! The food is amazing! And atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I went there for lunch and dinner and their menu has a lot to choose from. I also have to say the service is outstanding! The owner comes out and greet you personally. There is nothing negative I can say about this place. Highly recommended

Absolutely love this gem of a brunch spot. I've been here a few times and the service is always amazing. I love that they have a full cafe and bar inside. My current favorite drink is the cafe con leche. I've had a few of their lattes which were all flavorful. I also love their empanadas, which are fried made-to-order and are always so fresh and crispy. I've had a few flavors at their sister cafe Take It Easy in Chinatown. Their breakfast empanada plate is my go-to order! It comes with 2 breakfast empanadas, spanish rice, black beans & a yummy sauce on the side. This combined with a hot drink is my ideal breakfast lol Will be back!

Aroma Latin American Cocina is a restaurant in Henderson, NV that fuses traditional Latin American dishes with global flavors. The chef/owner, Steve Kestler, was a 2024 Finalist for the Best Chef: Southwest category of the James Beard Foundation Restaurant and Chef Awards. The restaurant was also ranked #1 on Yelp's list of Top 100 Taco Spots in the United States, 2023. I stopped by during my winter break adventures at the end of 2024, and I ended up ordering the enchiladas for my meal. The composed dish consists of gochujang chicken tinga, salsa verde, queso fundido, guacamole, Korean pickles, & kimchi rice. Interestingly enough, based on my past experiences eating enchiladas in the United States, I generally consider them a sustenance dish and not a joyful eating dish (for me personally). That was not the case here at all. These enchiladas were packed with flavor & truly divine! I enjoyed every single bite, and I'm so glad I kept an open mind when I ordered my food. Aroma Latin American Cocina is now one of two restaurants (along with Cocina Madrigal in Phoenix) that I would return to specifically to eat their enchiladas.

Best Pupusas in Las Vegas! If you're craving authentic Salvadoran pupusas, this is the place to be! I've tried pupusas all over Las Vegas, and none compare to the ones here. The masa is perfectly soft with a slight crisp, and the fillings are generous and packed with flavor. Whether you go for the classic cheese or mix it up with loroco or pork, every bite is pure bliss. The curtido and salsa are the perfect accompaniments, adding a fresh, tangy kick that complements the rich flavors of the pupusas. The salsa is not water down like most places. Plus, the service is warm and welcoming, making every visit a delight. If you're in Las Vegas and haven't tried this spot yet, you're missing out on the best pupusas in town! Highly recommend! When you first walk in it feels a little old and dated but don't let that turn you away. As a full Salvadoran that lives in LA where we have the best Salvi food outside of the country. I have been to multiple places here in Vegas and I haven't found one place that makes me want to come back. The problem here is that every restaurant is "Mexican/Salvadoran" which no offense but we are not the same. Our food is simply better whether you like it or not it is. This restaurant by far exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to be disappointed like always but I was pleasantly surprised. The pupusas by far are the best in the city and on this menu. We also tired their breakfast like plátanos con frijoles y crema. This was okay nothing special the beans where once again pinto beans which are not Salvadoran.

Yes this place isn't in the best part of town but just use some common sense and you will be fine. The food here is delicious. It is one of the best take out fast food Mexican restaurant in town. It's way better than any of the bigger 24 hour chains. I had beef fajitas meal and it was wonderful. It had the right amount of spices and the portions are large. My wife had the shrimp Diablo. I tried it and loved it. It was super spicy and had jalapeño peppers throughout the sauce. For a 24 hour restaurant it was clean and the staff was friendly. Cash is best here because they don't take a credit card only ATM cards.

Overall experience: They must have new staff because service was pretty good-- then again, I was the only customer here on a Wednesday at 3pm... the prices are a little high compared to other places, but this is a bar/restaurant. Food: the complimentary chips were decent. I let them sit a while, so they got soggy but the salsa was pretty good (kinda sweet). The soles were amazing. The toppings were very fresh and Pastir was plenty flavorful. I wish I had a steak knife for the bottom part- the regular knife made me feel like a was sawing a tree.. I can't imagine a kid having to do that. The Pupusas are a good size and flavorful; Pupusas had a little too little stuffing, but they were still good. Service: Friendly and patient with my indecisiveness. They were not busy, and food came at a good time.Environment: The environment is decent. I expected a little more cultural decoration on the walls since it represents so many countries. The bathrooms were decently clean and smelled wonderful.Parking: There is a good amount of parking available. I parked on the side of the building on W Laredo. I like how this parking lot is more discrete.

Pupusas de chicharrón were my favorite, they were delicious and really big, the curtido was delicious as well. It was typical inside, nothing fancy, but usually places like this offer delicious food. Service was fast, definitely coming back.

"I was picking up an order and had a hard time finding the spot because it is completely non-descript. This establishment is for the ones who know, the beau monde of Centro America. The seating was very homely and well appointed. I think may even have karaoke or parties, it just gave off that vibe. The servers were very responsive and complimentary because they provided me with fresh chips and salsa while I waited on the order to be prepared. They were crisp and held up to the salsa very well. I will definitely be getting some food soon and updating this review."
"A couple coworkers and I were doing some business in the area during lunch time, when we came across Pupusería El Zunzal. We all agreed that pupusas sound great, and ate in.No wait on a weekday at lunchtime. The workers only spoke Spanish, which was no problem with 2 of us being able to translate. The menu is also in Spanish.I ordered 2 pupusas de chorizo and 2 revueltas. They came out in about 10 minutes or so, steaming hot and fresh. These things hit the spot and checked all the boxes for me as far as pupusas go!One of us ordered the plantain dish with beans and cream. It was my first time trying, given Im not super familiar with Salvadoran food. It was absolutely incredible, and I'm so grateful he shared! Sweet and savory heaven! Also, don't forget Salvadoran soda. It was my first time having it but man is it delicious- comparable to Colombian soda.Great little hole in the wall with great eats!"
"Que RICO!!! What a gem this place is! Hidden BUT found!!! The food was amazing, very authentic latino food! I enjoyed and will make a point to visit every time I'm in LV! The service and vibe was excellent!!!"
"La comida esta deliciosa. Muy buen ambiente familiar fuimos por la mañana No se por la tarde como se pondra. Buen servicio. Los precios se me hicieron muy bien y bastante variedad de comidas"
"You can't find to many places that do mole enchiladas. Their mole was super flavorful and just enough spice, I will definitely be back to try more things!!!"
"Good food ,ordered the salmon kabobs with veggies and rice and chicken bowl both of them was delicious"
"I've been to the other location and I've been wanting to visit this location but they are always busy on the weekends. I finally was able to stop by and get a table quickly. Nice quaint restaurant. It's not bad in size, but there's also patio seating. Service was a bit slow, but she was nice and working hard. She handled all the patrons in the restaurant. I had to wave her down and make eye contact. Food:CoffeeShort Rib Empanada Spicy Mushroom Let me first say the Chimichurri was so good. I didn't even use the other sauce that came with the Mushroom Empanada. Both Empanadas were delicious. I first ordered the Short Rib but then realized I wanted more. Overall, it's a great spot, and next time, I'll try the brunch items. Also, they offer Happy Hour, and I THINK it starts from 2 pm or 3 pm."
"An extremely underwhelming experience. We showed up for a 9am reservation for two, but were told they didn't have any reservations on the books. Luckily, this was not a problem and we were promptly sat. We ordered a coke, short rib Benedict and the "MF" sando on sour dough with fruit. I was surprised with how quick the food arrived, but it was sub par. The Benedict had far too much short rib on it that it was overwhelming and hard to get to the Benedict. The MF Sando on the other hand had the opposite problem, and only contained a single piece of bacon, which for $15 was extremely over priced. The sour dough was barely toasted. Overall, I would give this place another shot but definitely would not be recommending it. ~~~~~~The following information does not impact the overall review, but is provided for anyone who may find it useful:Bathrooms: there is a single gender neutral bathroom in the back of the restaurant"
