"Saffron Flavors was once known to loudly display its political leanings but independent voters like myself can't be influenced by either side, so the only real allegiance I ever have is to an empty stomach.Indian entrees should always come with bread - Garlic roti, Onion naan, and Paratha (GOP?) are all excellent. Roti vs. Naan vs. Paratha...roti is unleavened, naan uses yeast which makes it more soft and pillowy, while paratha is also unleavened but stuffed with a thin layer of potato. There's no debate, be sure to get the Tandoori platter. It's a nice variety of shrimp, chicken, and Seekh kebab lamb bites marinated with yogurt and spices on a bed of grilled onion and peppers, pairing well with Basmati rice. Try the outstanding grilled Tandoori wings which are tender, delicious, and steeped in a very liberal amount of spicy flavors. Yes very liberal, so doubtful they were right wings. I've also ordered a Madras and Ginger Ale (MAGA?) combo at lunchtime. Madras chicken is a superb entree with coconut and spices, similar to curry but with hot peppers and paprika that give it a strong, zesty flavor. The 60s song Mellow Yellow by Donovan began with, "I'm just mad about Saffron, a-Saffron's mad about me" and if you enjoy authentic Indian food, you'll also be mad about Saffron Flavors. So go there to stuff your face (not the ballot box) and you'll find that these folks know how to do authentic Indian food right. Extremely right. "This is a new restaurant that opened up last month. My friend and I were craving Indian food so we thought we try it.We got the Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas, garlic naan bread and cheese naan bread. The Tikka Masala was so good!!! The garlic naan with that was perfect. The cheese naan was good but would have been better with the same garlic flavor added. The samosas are vegan with a pea and mash potato mix with seasonings, that was good but next time I will probably skip it and stick with the main dishes. The owner was there and was super nice and helpful. There are a few tables to eat at and it was nice and clean. The restroom was nice and clean too.We will definitely be back because the is was great food. If you haven't tried it yet you should!!!"

I thought going in late would leave for empty tables, but this place was busy! Despite how late it was just seeing it that busy inside I knew it was going to be good. We ordered lamb tika masala, butter chicken, garlic and butter naan and raita. Rice came with the dishes and it's unlimited! We got our spice level at around 5-6 and it wasn't very spicy more like a little more than a mild taste but it was delicious! The lamb was so tender it melted. The butter chicken was also delicious. My boyfriend left nothing behind. Everything was cooked to perfection and I can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu! Thank you for the delicious meal!"

Those days were DASHED during the pandemic and for many many years afterwards. How I dreamed of their buffet but they took it away! One day I was driving by (and I drive by often as I live 5 minutes away, not b/c I'm a stalker LOL), I saw it! Like sunshine. Like prayers answered. A GIANT SIGN that says, LUNCH BUFFET! It's 2024 and could it be?? 4 years after the pandemic their lunch buffet is finally back?It's true guys! Their lunch buffet is back. My favorite is the veg korma. So creamy and delicious. I can eat that forever. And the chicken masala is also good. $20. Still the same friendly manager as always. All I will say is, I'm glad we're back together again. :)"

Kori gassi (Mangalorean Chicken Curry) and roti were solid.The extensive website menu has South Indian, North Indian and Gujurati mains along with roti, poori, and aloo paratha. Plenty of chutnies, small bites items, desserts, drinks and even essentials (ie 20lb bag of basmati rice) are also available. In short the website is stacked. "The wife and I had a taste for Indian for lunch on a Saturday. For me, Indian food is always preferable when it's made fresh to order, but of all of the various cuisines out there, I think Indian food holds up quite well on a buffet especially when you're looking for a quick lunch that offers a variety of flavorful food options. After a quick Yelp search for nearby places that were open and offering a lunch buffet, we opted for Delhi Indian Cuisine. We arrived a little after noon and were seated immediately. Other than a party that appeared to be a multi-generational Indian family, we were the only diners in the restaurant the entire time we were there for lunch. Our server took our drink and naan order...we chose garlic...and then we proceeded to check out the buffet. I was impressed by the variety of offerings most of which were the usual suspects found on many Indian buffet lines. There was good (if not better) representation of vegetarian (not sure if they were vegan) options available, as well. I tried to sample each hot item on the line. The good? The garlic naan was hot and fresh. It had a garlicky kick and the right amount of chew and char. The food was properly seasoned and very flavorful possessing readily detectable notes of ginger, garlic, and spices used in Indian cuisine. I love palak paneer and Delhi's version hit all the right notes with me and didn't skimp on the paneer. The bad? A section of the steam table, seemingly, was not functioning properly. While properly cooked, the tandoori chicken was cold. The wife said her chicken tikka masala wasn't hot either. I didn't try it based on her assessment. In the end, Delhi Indian Cuisine showed a lot promise. The variety of offerings on the lunch buffet was solid. The flavors that I associate with Indian food were definitely there and enjoyable. Despite the figurative and literal mis-fire on a couple of the items, I would go back for another visit."

"Woke up dreaming about butter chicken.We've ordered takeout twice. Once for chicken tikka masala and on the most recent trip their butter chicken. Each of these comes with delicious basmati rice and we always add a few garlic naan's. Wish a larger portion of rice came with these as it's on the very small side for takeout. Ordering is always seamless. Flavors are divine. So creamy and all the Indian spices are wonderful. The textures are almost velvety. Some pieces of chicken easily cut by no effort whatsoever. This is from the incredible yogurt marinade. Unfortunately for us with our first order there was a large piece of chicken that was inedible. Couldn't cut through it if you tried and a lot of tendons seemed to still be attached. With our second order we received two large pieces of chicken that were inedible. Obviously this makes me sad because most of the chicken is incredibly tender. But having to throw away large pieces is never a good thing. So my journey continues for solid Indian food when I crave it."

I sat in the lobby underneath beautiful family photos, some featuring adorable pups. The server brought out the food, and it looked amazing!
