"We decided to come try Storming Crab for their Christmas menu. The inside is also super spacious designed to look like a ship. For $48 we got cheese bread, fried shrimp, fries, 1 lb of snow crab, 1 lb of shrimp, two potatoes, and two corns.There was so much food for two people and Sam's spice level with the Cajun sauce was extremely satisfying for us. Not too spicy. Our waitress was super attentive regardless ensuring we always had a full glass of water.We had such a great experience!"

"Last night, I was looking for food on Uber eats and this came up. I was shocked, because it was so close. A new seafood boil spot on this side of town was needed, so I definitely had to place an order. And they have oysters, so I had to go. I eat a lot of oysters, and I know I would eat here a few times a week if their oysters are goodThey had a special, bogo on the boils. And that was nice not only for the savings, but to try a couple flavors. I got mussels and crawfish, mussels in the house flavor, and the on crawfish Cajun. After I arrived to pick up my order, I ordered half a dozen oysters to eat there and they were perfect, delicious. The place was clean and pretty empty. The woman that took my order was really nice!I ate the rest of my food at home and loved it as well. The house flavor was amaaaaazzzzzing. And the Cajun was great too, but I would of appreciated a lil more spice. The only thing I would change about the place is the spice levels, it should go atleast 2 levels higher, but the food was great."

"Finally stopped in to try Cajun Crackin! We got here on a Friday night around 7 and there wasn't many people in. It did start to pick up shortly after we arrived. The space is really nice and there is plenty of seating. It is a seat yourself restaurant and the staff are quick to come greet you with menus. I believe our waitress was Niya (pardon if I spelled and got the name wrong). She was amazing! She had such great energy and checked in us periodically! I love how the menu offers a variety of meals. This time I chose to get the hush puppies, French Kiss sushi, and I built my own boil bag and added 1/2 lb of Dungeness crab and 1/2 lb of Shrimp with no spice and the mix sauce. My fiancé ordered the combo #2 with the Cajun sauce at tongue torch spice. The hush puppies were really good! Nicely seasoned and perfectly crispy on the outside. The inside was a bit too mushy for my personal preference but enjoyable nonetheless. I did not really enjoy the French Kiss sushi. It had a citrus taste to it, and I personally don't like citrus flavors in my savory food. The seafood boil was okay. With the 1/2 lb I got one cluster of the Dungeness crab and about 10 shrimps. It also came with 2 corns and 2 potato's. The crab was good and the shrimp were really big but a bit overcooked for my liking. I took my potato skin off the potato because it didn't taste like it was cleaned. Still had that dirt potato taste to it. The sauce itself lacked flavor for me. It was supposed to be a mix of all the sauces, so the Cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper. I didn't really taste any of those flavors. I did taste my fiancés and it had flavor, but I mainly tasted cayenne pepper with the tongue torch spice level. They also have a buy one get one special on beer and wine until December! Overall, glad we stopped by. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu items. I really want to try their po boys and more sushi flavors."

For my entree, I ordered myself the Palace Pan Roast with the rice on the side as the Disney Princess, Natalie Y. from Los Angeles, CA (go add her!), instructed. I also got to snuck a few bites of the Bouille-Roast which tasted insanely seafood-y while the pan roast was like a thick lobster bisque. One entree is enough to share though and that's what I recommend you do.The two of us got here at 4PM and waited about 1.5 hours. After sitting, ordering, and eating, another 1.5 hours passed. That's A LOT of time to spend waiting for food!"

We always order shrimp hot and juicy style and spicy please. The more spice the better. My wife ordered the shrimp po'boy and let me tell you drizzle some lemon and add some of the hot and juicy sauce to it and you will see the difference. Also this location is very clean and has upgraded restrooms as well."

If you're coming with a big group of people, I think this is a perfect idea to all hang out and eat some good seafood boil! They offer a wide variety of shrimp, muscles, oysters, crabs, and crayfish. I would personally recommend getting the shrimps and mussels, and with all their spices, especially the 88 pier spice! The portion size is decent with a bunch of seafood, such as crabs and mussels, corn, and potatoes inside the bag! Restaurant is a big restaurant giving you that sea ports ambience! Service was quick and attentive yet food took a while to cook. Just be patient and it will be all worth it! "This location is very much OPEN. I recently moved to the area and I was craving some fried chicken. I almost went to a Church's, knowing what to expect from my youth in the south, but I decided to give the gas station chicken a try. Driving across country and hailing from the land of Royal Farms has taught me not to scoff at "gas station chicken."I was not disappointed! Generally I like to include a chicken breast with my bone-in selection, but unfortunately they don't carry that part. I guess it's not popular. They were kind enough to let me try a tender instead and I have to say either way, the crust is crunchy and the perfect amount of spice/seasoning. The staff was pleasant and attentive, which was above average in my book from a gas station and being used to east coast customer service lolAnyway, it was about $12 for a 4 piece (my choice) with a side (mac & cheese!) and a biscuit. I was told the blueberry biscuit was great but I opted for the honey. So...that honey biscuit might have been the best damn honey biscuit I've ever had - and that's saying a lot growing up in Texas - and if the lady told me the blueberry was the bomb then I can only imagine just how good it must be! I will definitely be back when I get a craving for fried chicken and biscuits! Not breaking the bank in this economy really helps too!"

The entrees all seem to be priced as though you are dining at a high end restaurant. For $35 for the salmon stew we expected a much larger portion than a small plate of salmon with onions. It was absolutely delicious but seriously out of line with prices for off strip family run establishments. I would go back to try the patty (they were out) and get more Mac and cheese but I can't justify $35 for that salmon."

Someone runs out your order when it's ready. Inside is extra large with bright paintings on the walls. I tried the Jerk Salmon Entree with Mac-N-Cheese and Sweet Potatoes. Every item of my entree should have been much better. The sweet potatoes were like canned potatoes that were over cooked and turning to mush. The Macaroni and Cheese might have been good when it was first made but appears to have been re-heated too many times and was breaking down. The salmon was hard to eat because of it texture and was over seasoned to the point that it was boarder-line not edible. It also had some sort of hard residue on it that added to the not edible experience.On my husband's platter the beef was so tough that maybe even an alligator would have trouble chewing it. All the food could have been better."

Great size bites for the rolls not too big not too small fit perfectly without over stuffing your mouth. Burn your ass roll is worth the hype great flavor and a nice little spice that builds up the kick. If you like a no rice roll, the kiss me roll was fantastic fresh tasting salmon nice zesty flavor. Not a fan of the angry crunch, lacking in flavor tempura crisp was off for some reason. Didn't really even wanna finish the roll. I'll skip the redhead roll next time as well even though some fresh ginger and soy sauce, definitely made it taste better. Highly recommend the fresh rolls over the baked ones overall good experience for the price you pay."

Tender, flavorful, and not loaded with fat. Their BBQ sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and savory - no need to drown your meat in it, just enough to enhance the flavor. The mac and cheese is super yummy, and the yams? BOMB. Cornbread is solid, though not my favorite of the sides. Still good though! One downside: upgrading to brisket is pricey, and honestly, not worth it. Also, the sweet tea has a lemony twist, which I'm personally not a fan of (I'm a sweet tea purist). And I really want to try the peach cobbler, but they never seem to have it!Service is always friendly, and the place is spotless. It's a great lunch spot - my coworkers and I come here pretty often. There's also an upstairs area I'd love to check out - maybe for private events? Oh, and they have a bar with gaming if that's your vibe.Overall, prices are reasonable for BBQ, the food is fire, and more people need to discover this place so it sticks around.
