The show was really entertaining. It was an hour long. Amazing singer. Great acts and dances. Loved the girls!!Not fully burlesque show but that's ok. They had some comedian in between acts that got a lot of time and I didn't understand much of what he said. Staff was friendly. Drinks affordable but they're small cups. Also we showed up a week before with tickets to find out the show was canceled and nobody had notified us but that's also because it was bought by a third party so make sure you call ahead to make sure it's happening.

Do other places have the concept of showgirls or is that just a Las Vegas thing? I don't know but I'm not sure that I would call this a "showgirl" show. Yes, a few dancers wear a showgirl hat, but it's mostly dancing in stage costumes that could be anywhere. My husband and I are on a quest to see every Vegas show before Lake Mead dries up and everyone has to leave. That means seeing even more relatively unknown shows like Suzie Malone's BurlesQ. For the longest time I kept saying no to seeing this show because we saw Suzie Malone's Le Magique Fantastique at Horseshoe's Magic Attic, featuring Frenchie from Rock of Love. I specifically remembered how the props were Tape Face-esque (busted, low budget. See my review of his show.) Places charging $100+ a ticket shouldn't be using collapsible laundry hampers and poster board as prop holders on stage. Finally my husband bit the bullet and got us tickets to see this show because we were already seeing the Frankly Frank show in the same showroom earlier in the day. Currently Alexis Park is doing a massive renovation so we had to go through the restaurant service entrance to access the Pegasus Showroom where this show takes place. You are allowed to bring in drinks from the adjacent restaurant's bar, or you can order from a cocktail waitress. Of course like any burlesque show, photos and videos aren't allowed. Like Fantasy at Luxor, there is an emcee, singing, an acrobat, a standup comedy segment and then of course silly dance numbers. Maybe it's because I'm a woman but I've never found these shows to be sexual, more like over the top kitchy. Everything from Spiegelworld is 100x more sexual and raunchy compared to this show, so if that's what you're expecting, this show isn't what you're looking for.Unlike Fantasy at Luxor or Rouge at The Strat, the performers are all different body sizes and shapes, though everyone seems to be in their 30's except for Suzie. She doesn't look bad, she just is older than the rest of the performers. During the dance numbers, the women have pasties on under their outfits so you won't be subjected to any bare nips in this show. The male comedian was pretty funny and to my surprise he didn't do boring, tired sex jokes like every standup comedian show in Vegas has. He did some impersonations that had the audience rolling. There was an acrobat who did some balancing acts (clothed) with a stick of martini olives. Suzie Malone came out to do her magic set and brought those ridiculous collapsible laundry hampers with her name on poster board taped to the front. OMG tickets start at $99 and this is the stuff they're dragging out on stage? Go get a decorative trunk at Bed Bath & Beyond with the 20% coupon that comes in the mail and use it on stage. Suzie's set featured her having seemingly endlessly amounts of different dresses on that she changed on stage by removing a belt or a hook from the previous dress. She did tricks using flowers and scarves. Nothing too crazy. The show was okay. At some points in the show the emcee was talking in the dark because the stagehands were removing props before the next performer was on stage. Apparently the lighting designer didn't bother to put a spotlight on the emcee while the stage was being cleaned, which was weird. I expect an oversight like that in a school production, not at a show where tickets are $99 each. Additionally, one dancer was dancing in the dark on the catwalk (stage left) for a bit because again, the lights weren't properly timed. The costumes looked... They looked kinda cheap. I'm sure a show at Alexis Park doesn't have a huge budget but if they're not going to have set pieces, the costumes need to be fabulous. Everyone in the audience seemed to love the show - and it was packed. It was exclusively older couples and groups of women in the audience, which I think speaks to the kind of show that it is. If you're wanting to see a not-too-raunchy variety show that includes some dance numbers in lingerie and a comic that doesn't base his set on sex, this would be a good show to check into.

The singing and dancing was entertaining (stressful when with wife and daughter). If like comedy, the host Sean E Cooper was the best comedian we saw in Las Vegas. Great interaction with the audience. He made the time between sets/outfits pass quickly. Worth it just to see him.
