Bullet Train

So Railroad Pass, if not already innovative enough, has decided to open their own stand alone bar on their property called "Bullet Train". The appearance is that of an Upmarket Taproom. It was roomy, with plenty of seating at the bar even if you aren't a slot player. There was a mellow, yet effervescent and high-spirited vibe. Contradictory but accurate.The Menu had some moderately priced and straightforward items to choose from. I saw (and smelled) someone's "Cajun Alfredo" with chicken and that was instantly my choice. It was a superlative dish. I am still thinking about how flavorsome that pasta and alfredo and chicken actually was. Highly recommended.This would be a exceptional venue for dinner, drinks, music and anything else your heart desires.

Service was good.The Ruben was as good, the jalapeños gave it a perfect spice.The onions rings are hand battered.The restaurant is clean and tiddy.Numerous TV line the bar and outer walls.It would be an excellent choice to watch a game.

I was really looking forward to eating here because I live nearby and there's limited dining in Boulder City especially after 8pm. My husband and I ride our bikes there shortly after it opened. It was about 5:00, not crowded. We waited and waited for a hostess to seat us or at least greet us and tell us something like "thank you for joining us, we'll get you seated shortly. ". Any kind of acknowledgement. After about 10 minutes my husband went in and found the nearest employee, a girl behind the bar. He politely asked "should we just seat ourselves?" She snapped back at him, "no you need to wait for someone to seat you."Needless to say, we left. Tonight we decided to give them a second chance. Nope, same thing, you stand around waiting for someone to notice you. We left again. There will be no 3rd chance. The 3 *'s is for the cleanliness and decor. I have no idea how good the food is.

I'm trying this again. A do-over "first" visit. This time we had better service with the water glasses and attentiveness. Our food did come out at almost the same time. Reasonable time at least. We had a group of 6. The food was okay. Nothing special or incentive for us to come back. Zero spark of personality to the staff. Not off putting but not thankful either. I am not expecting Chuck E. Cheese however the vibe of hospitality was lacking all around.

Easy parking. Great vibe!! Met some friends from Boulder City for lunch at this new place. It was wonderful. My phone wasn't working right so I missed a photo of my delicious Balsamic Steak Salad! My friend had the Steak Fajitas Salad that looked amazing! (Actually have a photo of that ) Portions are above average and their menu has a great variety on it. I do know I will be back to try a few things, including the Pizza Crack Bread!

Bullet Train has changed their menu. It used to be a bit more restaurant-like with a variety of different foods. Now it is more like just bar food. It is good bar food but really miss the foods they took off the menu. No more pork chop, pan roast, rib eye and more. Took a while for our food to come out.Like that there is still no smoking.

1st service waitress very good. However, we wentcin expecting to get our regular entrees. Salmon, cowboy steak..you know the kind of food that ant good restaurant would have unless they are a hamburger chain. We go to the bullet for the smoke free, but for them to get rid of the things that customers want, honestly we won't come anymore and we will spread the word. My husband decided to have spaghetti and meat ball.yes one tasteless meatball. The sauce was basically plain tomato sauce.prego would have been better. I felt bad for waitress as people were just leaving as they saw the new menu..it started I believe today feb 22,2025. Beware ​

Food was fantastic. Really laid back and cool vibes. I believe it's open 24 hours too.
