I'm visiting Vegas, and my local friends wanted a Mexican brunch spot--so we found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. Now, this is their new go-to spot, and I'm definitely coming back the next time I visit. They start you off with chips and salsa, which were good, but I wish the salsa had a chunkier texture. We ordered a large choriqueso, and it was amazing--way better (and cheaper) than the one we had on the Strip the day before. The shrimp tacos were also incredible. I only ordered one, and honestly, I should have gotten more. For my main, I got the large salad bowl, and it was huge. Not only was it super filling, but it also tasted great--way better than anything you'd get from El Pollo Loco. The service was great, and the staff was super friendly. Overall, this place was a win, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for solid Mexican food in Vegas!

So I looked at reviews before going but didn't see a spot for its only outside dining. It was cooler out when I visited so it was not pleasant. It's a small place and they do have heaters. Didn't help. Staff was friendly though. Ordered the choriqueso because I saw a picture on here earlier and it did not look the same when it arrived but it was still good but very very oily. We ordered the breakfast tacos. No flavor. Very disappointed. Chips and salsa was nice though.

wanted to love it based on reviews and closeness to my house. -Got their carne asada burrito because it's their best seller and it was good but not great. Specially for $14!!! And didn't come with anything!!! -online pricing is different from their in store.. why??, example: carne asada burrito is $13 online and $14 in person!!? -location is very small and few seats available. Cute but also mehhh. -owner had a nice attitude but staff didn't. -pick up food was packaged poorly. When I got home beans and rice were all mixed up and juice was coming out of the container and ruined the napkins..

What a great find for brunch after our son's soccer class! The homemade salsas were amazing, especially the Arbol (red) which was spicy & flavorful! I had the Mexico City burrito that had eggs, chorizo, pico de gallo, cheese, and avocado. One of the freshest & best burritos I have ever had. My son had his own breakfast plate with potatoes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned & cooked. Our female server was very nice, but the tall Latinx guy (older with a mustache) lacked customer service values. I politely asked him for a to go container, and he never came back (probably sexist). The restaurant only offered patio seating. I have to mention how great the coffee was too!

Love coming here! Best breakfast burritos and chilaquiles I've had in Vegas. Outdoor seating, great service and reasonable prices. Outdoor seating only but with ample heaters to keep you warm during the current cold weather. Oh yeah, they serve Thrifty's ice cream!

We felt that the food was expertly cooked and so authentic Mexican. It's fresh, hot and flavorful served in beautifully traditional plates and mugs. We also thought it might be too chilly outside at 55 degrees to have breakfast at this all patio restaurant. The overhead heaters and enclosed surroundings made it very comfortable.

We needed a central-ish location for brunch on a Sunday morning, so we Yelped! to find this new spot nestled in Desert Shores right on the lake! There's a lot of parking on the weekend, because the offices are closed, so we had no issues with that at all. We did make a reservation, just in case, and we were seated right away upon arriving. All the seating is outdoors, and in Vegas in August, that's rough. The menu is pretty standard for brunch, lots of breakfast and lunch options. We did breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, and taquitos, but we also tried a smoothie! Prices are pretty average for the area, so no sticker shock, and the food was decent. Aside from sitting outside, it was an ok experience. We would visit again during a more weather-friendly season, for sure.

Highly recommend the chilaquiles verdes with carne asada! The service was good, they were very attentive of the things we might need. The place is small but mighty and has good atmosphere haha. The ratio of food to price is really good, not overpriced.

This place was so yummy! We love a good hearty breakfast and yummy sweet items to balance the whole meal. This place is primarily Mexican food. We had the breakfast burrito, the all American breakfast, pancakes and the carne asada skillet. All were amazing! We sat in the patio since the indoor portion is very small. The service was fast and attentive. I wish we could see more of the specials-they only showed that inside the storefront and not on the menus outside.

Food so fresh & truly authenicaccommodating. Just love the crepes too! Service is extremely friendly & accomidating. The patio dining is decorated so beautiful. They even have heaters during the cool winters. I was born and reared in Las Vegas over 65 years ago and a salute this local business! Nothing like family owned place like Buena Vista Kitchen, they appreciate the locals! Mucho Bien!
