I have lived in the area for nearly 40 years and in that time I have never been disrespected and treated so badly by any casino. It was so bad that Boulder Lodge compelled me to write my first ever review....anywhere.I needed to get online and wanted to gamble a little. I went to the counter because I needed a replacement players card. I got it but was not offered anything to drink and they will not let you bring drinks from outside period. I sit and play for about half an hour. In that time at least 3 employees walked by me at least 3 times each. I was never asked if i wanted anything by any of them. when i was done I went to an area with a fake fire place, a chair and couch and a coffee table and ashtrays, got on my laptop and started my work. It was less than 5 minutes when an employee finally asked me a question. " are you going to gamble anymore?" she asked. "no, I don't think so.". "well you cant just sit here and use the wifi" she said. I was floored! " so I have to be playing to use wifi?" "yes." "That's weird, how am I supposed to play a machine AND use my computer at the same time?" Shaking her head no, she responded, "I don't know but you cant just sit here and use the wifi." This after gambling in this very new casino that had 5 or so people in it for the last half an hour. I said ok, went back to a machine and continued online from there. less than 30 seconds went by and another employee came from behind me....checking if I was really playing. Unbelievable! nearly an hour in this low life place and all the employees had said to me were these incredibly idiotic rules they have. Still no offer of a drink or anything else for that matter. They did manage to weed out the riff-raff though by asking a senior citizen whose appearance was unacceptable to say, Bellagios vip room for example, for his ID,and promptly threw him out when he failed to produce it. no one else was carded just the slightly dirty clothed old guy who was gambling. The time before this that I was there the same employee that harassed me about wifi was policing me over how many credits i was playing per hand when I ordered a drink (not offered! Had to hunt her down and ask for it). It was a Starbucks frap in a can that i ordered, not Johnny Walker Black Label! the third time she told me how much i was expected to bet (and was betting) I told her "nevermind, you can keep your drink", and she did just that! HORRIBLE customer serviceHORRIBLE attitudes by staffHORRIBLE win ratioHORRIBLE in every category that I that participated in and disrespected in several ways. This place SUCKS!!!! And by the way, it's owned by Dottys so not only will i never go to Boulder Lodge again, I will never go to anyplace Dottys owns again!

Was referred to the place by a friend a few months back. The place is super clean, nicely arranged and we were impressed at first sight. I've never been a fan of the Dotty's joints around the valley because a few trips turned me off to their employees and attitudes. However, don't let those little places turn you off to trying Points. We only go on weekends so we only deal with Jennifer on swings and Dylan who relieves her for mids. They are both personable, professional but also treat us like "old friends". From the little munchies on the counter to cold drinks to a decent little menu, it's nice to just kick back and relax after a long week. The machines are like everywhere else, tighter than the old days of course but we get decent play time compared to Stations and others and they do payoff better than their casino in Laughlin I just visited this week. (Mortgage your house before going there). Not sure if Jennifer and Dylan are the only amazing folks that work there but they are definitely worth meeting if you're looking for a real locals atmosphere and excellent customer service!

Me and my hubby went there last night after mid- night. We had to ring the bell to be let in. So we enter and start to walk towards the bar and a young black girl came towards us and ask for our I'D's. Needless to say we didn't think we heard her right. So we ask her what she ask us and she said that she needed to see our I'D's. My hubby said hell no. I said that if she couldn't tell by looking at us that we are over 21 then we don't need to be here in this casino. Now I'm 56 yrs., and my hubby is 46. We turn around and left. Needless to say we were both in shock. And for futures visit we will never again be entering that casino again. Poor business. Poor business to Las Vegas as well.

Dotty's ruined this place. Today, 9/9/16 5:30 PM, went there to play dollars. Saw an empty machine by the register and was told I could not play it because a person that just walked up plays two machines at the same time. I play triple double 1.00 loaded. I told the girl at the counter that I have never heard of a nickel player using two machines at once. Set my full beer on the counter and left. Never again for this place. Bad policies. Stay away.
