Wow what a pleasant surprise! The decor is electric, both modern and retro. Loved it. Both traditional and unusual selections, our crew had grilled cheese with tomato soup, and anchovie pasta. I had an unusual cocktail called pumpkin 3.14 that was really amazing, not too sweet and a burst of pumpkin flavor.Dessert was the best! A yummy carrot cake and also an orangey thing called a Pavlova. The Pavlova is an unusual concoction of merengue, grapefruit, other citrus, and pomegranate. Our server was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

WHAT HAPPENED?!? A review about Valentines dinner with our friends. First, we were greeted by a disengaged hostess. She sat us by the front door even though we asked to sit at the nice tables further in the restaurant. Every time the door opened we were blasted by cold air. Next, our waitress was very unprofessional. Her attire did not meet Boom Bang's standard dress code and professional appearance. For background, we've dined at Boom Bang at least 5 times so we know the culinary experience, and vibe very well. Surprised about the limited menu with the only 6 items on a $90 each person menu. The choice of 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, and 2 dessert options. Third, our waitress rushed us with drink and food orders. The menu options were odd but because there were only 6 items on the entire menu, we ordered everything on the menu. - The Lobster Bisque was too buttery and a strong fishy smell:- Bacon Onion Tart was messy and basically grilled onions on the tart with little to no bacon. Basically, an onion cracker. - The Pork Belly entrée was mostly fat, and the top was burnt.- The Salmon entrée was undercooked.- The two dessert options were OK but not great. * No salad nor table bread offered. ! A young waiter/ runner brought us our plates but did not know what he was serving. He announced the a wrong appetizer and entrée. !! Our primary waitress was not attentive to what we were experiencing at the table, nor did she ask us. !!! As we were standing up to leave, the hostess asked how everything was. We were honestand kind about the experience. She replied, "Oh I'm sorry. Please come back and see us." !!!! For such a nice restaurant, we had to scan a barcode on our phones to pay our meals. Oddly, another waiter came by and said, "I can cash you out now." !!!!! We all noticed the hostess was disengaging at the front, always on her phone and always wiping her nose with her hands. With the exception of one waiter, who we knew from the past and was extremely professional, kind, and engaging, the rest of the waiter staff was unprofessional always on their phone, standing in the corner laughing at whatever they were talking about: thus, not engaging.the customers. !!!!!! We had to ask for water, table, bread, and more hot water for tea that one of our friends ordered. By the way, as we were sitting by the front door getting blasted by cold air every time the door opened, the restaurant was not busy at all, and we could've sat where we wanted to when we came in at the beginning of the night We hope the owner reads this review and reflects on how service can be back to what it used to be when they first opened. Because our prior experiences were outstanding, we will give Boom Bang one more opportunity to prove why we went there in the first place. Bon appétit.

Very disappointed! We have always loved Boom Bang, I would, before tonight have told you it was one of our favorite restaurants. However tonight changed that for all of us. It started when we arrived and they seated us by the door, even though there were plenty of tables in the back. We were freezing every time the door opened. The menu was a fixed Valentine's dinner, the bisque tasted so fishy, the salmon was sort of undercooked. The server was very underdressed for this caliber of restaurant and her service was sadly lacking. She was so busy visiting and sitting on her phone that we had to get her attention several times. To top everything off we all felt it was over priced.

I saw on Facebook that Boom Bang was having a special prix fixe menu for Valentines Day. It looked good so I made a reservation for opening time at 5 PM. This gives me chance to eat and get out of there before couples (married or otherwise) can have the table for dining. I should have looked at the menu more carefully. In light pink, matching the Facebook notice, there were three "Choose One" before each course. Sio what I thought was going to be a 6 course meal of small portions was wrong. My server asked me what my choices were. I must have looked at her with an odd expression and she showed me the choose one. Silly me. I ordred the bacon and onion tart flambée. For course two, I chose the crisp pork belly. I ended the meal with the apple strudel. The portions were small. The tart flambée may have been flambéed in the kitchen. I expected more than what was server--a wafer topped with some crisp bacon and other items. Don't use French terms if you're not doing what the French do when they flambée. The pork belly was good but the skin was so crisp, the server got me a steak knife to cut through. It didn't matter--their "steak" knife was only a bit better. The V edges were a tad deeper that the normal knife. The end of the meal was apple strudel. It was good. All these three courses for $90 plus tax, drink, and tip. Way overpriced for what you get! I have had many prix fixe dinners in Las Vegas but I never left as disappointed as I was tonight. Hell, I could have gone to the Strip and had a fine meal for that price. Next time, I'll read the FINE print in the ad. I wouldn't have driven to Henderson for this if I had been more alert.FInally, for the person that decided on the menu, it's Brussels sprouts. The city after which the sprouts are named is Brussels. You should know better. You're a "fine food" place.I won't be back!

I've been to this restaurant several times that I've always had a great experience. We came in for lunch today three friends all ordered the Smash Burger, which on a scale of 1 to 5 was a solid 4 for smash burger in the Vegas Valley. Services is Good, as always only downside... I asked the person that dropped off the food when he came back and told him that the pickle was soggy he literally blew it off. I thought OK not a problem. I posed the same question to the server and got the same answer type of response. Neither one seem to really care or offer anything like perhaps I can get you another one I'm not one to complain ever. It happened Friday the 27th at approximately 12:30 in the afternoonI post this so other customers will not have this type of experience. I have not been here in several months and this is not what I'm accustomed to from this establishment.

A small group of us all have been wanting to try Boom Bang fine foods for a while and we finally made reservations and made it happen. I especially wanted to try it being a Top Chef junkie and was looking forward to trying what Chef Elia had to offer. We arrived a little early and it took a min to be greeted, once we were greeted we were told our table was being cleaned and we would be seated shortly. 4 of our 5 were present and seated, we ordered a few drinks to start while we waited for our 5th. The old fashion was good , I ordered a coffee and I was told it would be an Americano which was fine I just wasn't told I would be paying for a double to fill the cup. We went ahead and ordered the Charcuterie board for 4 to start. It was presented nicely, the meats were delicious, it was a little unbalanced and needed some more bread to match the amount of meats and cheeses but overall we were pleased. We all ordered our main courses and they came out in a timely manner. I was on the fence but ended up ordering the bucatini Bolognese. The pasta was cooked very well, the sauce was a little underwhelming I'm just not sure I would classify it as a classic sauce. I don't remember seeing or tasting any carrots or celery, the sauce was over powered with nutmeg and cinnamon and it just didn't taste right. I certainly finished it all but I definitely would not order it again. 2 people ordered the white lasagna and it was one dish that took a while to cook. Both people were happy with their dish but if you do order it plan on waiting. One of our party ordered the bucatini carbonara and they seemed happy with it. Overall dinner was pretty good , I really liked the look of the lunch menu and will certainly return to give that French dip a try We ordered a few desserts and they were decent as well. We ordered the Boom Bang chocolate peanut crunch bar. I really wanted to like it but it was hard to eat. The carrot cake was well received and the Mexican hot chocolate creme brulee was good. Again we enjoyed what we ate but we definitely weren't wowed. The overall experience was good , our server was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. There is plenty to try and I think we will definitely find that wow dish.

For a restaurant tucked in a shopping center with a Smith's and McDonald's, this place was a huge surprise. Excellent cocktails and fantastic food. I LOVED the mushroom tart and the super cute plate it came on. Got HUGE slice of carrot cake which was heaven. We are definitely going to come back for dinner. The menu had quite a few interesting dishes, like duck confit and sole. Live DJ on Friday nights.

Always good food at boom bang! Went for lunch yesterday and sat at the bar, ordered a prime rib sandwich with fries, the place was slower than usual but our service was well attended and the food came out quickly, had a glass of brut champagne and enjoyed the lighting, bar stools are super comfortable and look forward to going back again soon

Elia is definitely an amazing chef. i came twice to taste the duck confit, pumpkin pie chicken and her special "best burger ever" on Wednesday night and yes, everything is amazing. the burger is definitely the best I ever had in Vegas. The patty is composed with different meats that bring fat and taste as you never had. amazing experience. Same with the duck (the Joel Robuchon purée is just the best you will ever taste and that's for a reason: chef Elia opened Joel Robuchon's restaurants in Vegas!) and the pumpkin sauce chicken is really amazing. service was great, I just noticed a hostess who wasn't smiling at all and looked annoyed. but overall it's a really nice place, with a good ambiance and an experience you definitely need to have.Price is the price for a top chef (Chef Elia won Top Chef btw) and top ingredients. Period. You don't buy a Ferrari at the same price than a Dodge. So You don't eat in a top restaurant for the price of a fast food.
