At the oyster bar, the host Laura, was very helpful with little wait time.....so I say thank you for hospitality and service. Also Abby Saba, the server was very prompt and came to see if there was anything else that I need....overall service was excellent. Will be back whenever I'm in town.

This is THEE best clam chowder, EVER! HANDS DOWN!I have come here for years to get it.And Tiebe and Saba are terrific servers!I definitely recommend....(I do miss the old look, because it looked like the French quarter, which was more appropriate)

Been here a good handful of times, always a busy spot. They do a great job of serving bread & water upon arrival. Nice open seating dining room. Took a hot minute for some of our orders to be delivered but again, the place is always busy. Portions are great, tasty & good prices.

After a long day of horse betting (for my husband), shopping, and exploring the town, we were ready for a good meal. This place came highly recommended for clam chowder, but it turns out they're just as incredible at serving up jambalaya and seafood broil! The jambalaya was so authentic, I felt like I was in New Orleans--honestly, OMG is the only way to describe it. The Big Al Broil was packed with flavor and had a generous assortment of seafood that kept my husband busy! I'll definitely be coming back, and next time, I might finally try the clam chowder. The atmosphere was cool. Everyone is happy , workers and customers, and that's a good thing!

Conveniently located in the Orleans Casino, Big Al's offers the typical items found at an oyster bar.We opted to seat at a table instead of at the oyster bar. The oyster bar itself has ample seating. There are also plenty of tables a some booths. We tried the mixed seafood Pan Roast and Shrimp Po' Boy. Both were acceptable. Nothing extremely special or bad. When we were first seated, they provided a very generous bread basket. The wait for our food was longer than expected but Tiebe did a great job. There was a constant flow of patrons coming in and out.One thing that I've always liked about eating at a Boyd property is that you can pay with points by simply presenting your card. Kudos.

Stopped in to try the Pan Toast mixed seafood and can say this is a MUST try. Dump the rice in the soup mix and enjoy your dish. It comes loaded with crab, shrimp, lobster and some good mix. We started with hush puppies that were fire.

I know I've written a review before, but we really do come here regularly, especially when my parents are visiting from out of town. This place has become one of my go-to spots, and it's my favorite restaurant at The Orleans Hotel and Casino. On this visit, we tried the Jambalaya and Scampi. While my favorite is still the gumbo, I like to give other dishes a try every now and then. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I remember Saba was one of the servers, but I can't recall the name of the other person who helped us -- I saw their name on the Yelp review share card, but couldn't make it out. Either way, you both were wonderful. Overall, great service and a consistently enjoyable dining experience. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Unfortunately their steamed clams had a blue plastic piece of string and their pan roasts were far too creamy and not thick enough. The jambalaya was a bit too salty as well but their oysters are yummy

My husband and I came here for a dinner date. We ordered a shrimp scampi and Big Al's Boil. I ordered mine without tomatoes and it was wrong. Our server Abby, apologized and quickly went to the chef to correct it. However, the manager Laura also apologized and gave the plate back to us and took it off the bill. I also received my plate without tomatoes. Throughout the entire meal we were being treated with respect and kindness. Love the service at Big Al's. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Laura!
