Banchan Village

This is my favorite Banchan slot legit first the food is great this is a low key meal prep hack for me on busy weeks when I need to not be the only one cooking for me from the first time I came the customer service was great and super sweet by the second time I came in she remembered me and the next time I called it in and she remembered me over the phone. Can't beat that plus as a veggie forward human they were super accommodating in making a kimbap special for me and there are lots of veggie friendly options to take home Lastly the playlist is always fire it's giving like..... early 2000s pop R&B vibes and I always find myself singing along. I'm here a couple times a month for sure and I love it! Ps. It's right down the street from the bomb donut place glazed so I always stop there first and make my little swoop home! 10s!!!!

Ordered this place from Uber eats it was really good. I got the bulgogi bento box which came with the traditional salad, kimchi, egg salad. All of which was very good. Definitely gonna try some other stuff like the galbi

I'm a big banchan fan, and this spot popped up as an early grab-and-go lunch option on the Yelp app. Note that they appear to have a separate storefront but the shop is actually now located inside Nalsso KBBQ - you walk in to a cute convenience store-type layout with a ramen station, refrigerator cases, a warming cupboard and a display of other shelf stable goodies, plus daily specials like dumplings and bento boxes.I went in specifically for the kimbap and at 10:30 it was just coming out fresh, they were just stocking the shelves for the day. If you don't see what you want, just ask - the staff were able to go to the kitchen and grab me a fresh-made bulgogi kimbap (they also have crab), and I was in and out fast - order was $8 and I'd probably add on another side or snack to make it a meal but it worked for my time/travel situation that day.I plan to come try the actual kbbq restaurant here eventually but also keeping in mind to grab japchae, kimchi and other goodies from the grocery area. Nice addition to the area to grab Korean essentials without actually having to drive to Greenland Market. They also have freezers with meat to do kbbq at home!

Right next to Nalsso bbq so I believe they extended the next suite for the togo banchan korean boxes.Went here for their lunch time togo boxes. I had the bulgogi dochirak and the bulgogi kimbap. Both are delicious and ready togo. I had to rang the bell to get their attention though. But the food is super goof and flavory so 5/5.I will come back again!

One of my favorite Korean dish is kalbi. In my kalbi bento, the 6 banchan were good. The kalbi was over done and dry. zucchini, potato side dish were good. Because of the dry kalbi, I won't be going back.

Went back today in the hopes they'd have that awesome stir fried potato banchan. They didn't but the friendly worker asked if I was Korean and when I said yes, he asked to wait for a minute. He came back with the halmunni (Korean grandmother) that's in charge of making the banchan. She said to give her a call next time and she'll prepare them! How cool is that??Picked up a couple of the bento boxes and some side dishes for my folks and us. If you get only ONE thing there, get the item posted on this review. Hot damn, it's one tasty banchan! Blows the spinach version out of the water. So glad we have such lovely Korean stores here.

Nice customer service. Was very quick. I ordered a soy chicken bento and it was made fresh to order, about 10 minutes. There's a display shelf with the bentos you can order that's still available for the day. I almost thought it was the only options left out to purchase since I went in later in the evening. It's almost like the side storage room to the kbbq restaurant next door and they just added a store front. So if you like the neighboring restaurant, you'll like this banchan shop! Soy chicken bento was ok. Not the most flavorful nor were the sides that's included. I really liked the (2) potstickers though. Cucumber kimchi might not have fermented long enough, it seemed to lack flavor. The spicy shredded radish was decent. I'd come back for kimbap for snackums but I guess it's only one lady that makes it during the day so it's limited quantities and sell out fast.

I come here once a week. It might be an addiction but to have Korean BBQ meats easily available makes it hard for me to resist. Pricing is decent for what it is. Obviously Korean food is on the pricier side. I like coming around right when it opens, like 1030ish because the japchae and the kimbops are freshly made at that time. Everything I've ever bought has been delish. The place is quite small inside so I wouldn't bring your whole family of 20 in there if you know what I mean. There's always someone around to help you and I've made friends with this lady when I go in the mornings. They do track your purchases using Cash app so that's the coolest thing because I can get discounts for spending $$$$$$.

Their food is so good! Saw them at the yelp elite event and the plate was well presented and so yummy! Cant wait to try the other items!

FYI They are updating some things in the restaurant/store so there is a wait time when picking up food. If you're in a rush, maybe wait a few weeks for things to get oiled back up again. But as always, service was impeccable, above and beyond to make accommodations even with the changes. I am loving the improved layout in the front and the updated assortment of Korean goodies, like the Flamin' Lime Turtle Chips and the broth packets. GTK that there's authentic Korean stuff I can grab quickly to eat or prep for dinner instead of driving across town to Spring Mountain. (Southwest needs a Korean market!!)
