888 sushi and Robata has EDM bumping in the background--upbeat, but not in a "losing-brain-cells-in-at-EDC" kind of way. Just the right vibe to convince yourself you can eat unlimited sushi without consequences. It's an all-you-can-eat setup, so the focus was on variety and value, but the quality held up.Wagyu nigiri absolutely slapped. Niku uni was wild--I don't even like uni that much, but somehow, this worked.Crunch chili cucumber was great as well. Who knew I'd be out here hyping up a cucumber.Wagyu skewer was a little overcooked, but it still tasted great. King salmon was flawless--fatty, balanced, and didn't feel like they skimped on the fish. Not the kind of sushi where you get more rice than fish.Truffle Parmesan pork skewer was delicious, Loved the Kurobuta sausage as well. Basic, sure, but let's not pretend we don't love the classics. For an all-you-can-eat spot, the quality was way better than expected. Nothing felt like a filler item designed to trick me into eating less. Service was fast and efficient as well.Left full, happy, and with just a tiny bit of self-loathing. Would absolutely do it again.

We were so excited to finally try 888, as it was on our bucket list for our next Vegas trip. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet our expectations. We expected a long wait, but it was still rough--put our name down for a table for two at 2:30 PM and didn't get seated until 4:30 PM.The sushi & skewer concept is a great idea, but the execution wasn't quite there. We ordered the C Premium Set, but just a heads-up--premium items are super limited (only 1-2 pieces each). Honestly, for the $10 difference per person, I'd just go with the B Set instead.Pros: Fish-to-rice ratio was great for the sushi. Our server, Ryan, was awesome--even though it was crazy busy, he checked in often. Oysters were delicious, but again, very limited in quantity.Cons: Because the place is so packed, the food came out inconsistent--we got a burnt corn cheese toast, and many of our skewers were overcooked to a crisp. For some reason there was so much crispy garlic on the things we ordered, it was overkill. Overall, the experience felt hit or miss--some things were good, but others really fell short. Wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

The signature menu was 10/10.Ordered everything with a maximum 1 per person and was 100% satisfied with all of it. I recommend coming as soon as they open because this place filled up so quick. The service, ordering, and clearing of plates was so quick and they made our experience so effortless. We will be back for the service and the ambience.

I'm going to be honest, I had real high hopes for this one, being that the other 888 restaurants have been really big hits. Their food was good, but not "I would go out of my way and drive 30 minutes to this place" good. At the end of the day, it's just another heavy-on-the-sauce, not actually Japanese sushi restaurant. I also was looking forward to their robata, but it tasted rather too salty or too sweet for my liking, plus it came really quickly, which meant it was probably already pre-cooked and just reheated. Some of the meats were really tough if you didn't eat them right away. I think the only saving grace was Ryan, our server, who kept apologizing throughout the meal because of the wait. It's okay Ryan, we mostly waited virtually from the comfort of our couch. The ambiance of this place is really modern, just like at all the other 888 joints. Again, I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here again, especially with the clientele they have. Towards the end of our meal, a group was seated next to us, and one of them was clearly intoxicated and was being super loud and obnoxious. We had to cover our ears because of how loud this guy was and we had to cut dessert short because he just ruined the whole mood for us. It doesn't help that the tables are situated really really close to one another.

After seeing 888 Sushi and Robata all over TikTok, we knew we had to try it while in Vegas. Based on reviews, we joined the Yelp waitlist about three hours before we planned to eat. You can check in within a few miles of the restaurant, so we added ourselves to the list while gambling at Caesars Palace. Even after the three-hour wait, we still had to wait an additional 30 minutes due to how packed the restaurant was. Keep in mind--they do not accept walk-ins or if they do it will be some hours of wait. The sushi was excellent, with high-quality fish, and the service was great. We noticed they no longer allow ordering via iPad, but it didn't affect the experience. The robata was also fantastic--I highly recommend the black garlic sesame beef.I'd definitely come back, and it's a must-visit spot when in Vegas!

Our third time here, and it never disappoints! The wait is absolutely worth it, seriously, worth it. The food and service are excellent, especially considering how busy 888 gets. The skewers are amazing, and the rice portions for the sushi are smaller, which doesn't make you so full. Not sure how they BBQ the Robata so fast with all of the flavor that are packed into them! The dining room has a great vibe, and the large TV behind the chefs adds a cool touch.A must-try whether you're local or just visiting! Can't wait for 888 to open in Henderson off Eastern and 215--BBQ Encore!

This takes the top for our Vegas sushi AYCEs. We ordered a mountain of food and chose their middle tier menu. Everything was fantastic including our super attentive service. They not only brought us water and food out quickly but it was a packed house the entire night. Our wait was 1.5 hours around dinner time on a Tuesday. To pick out highlights:Appetizers - Crunchy Garlic Cucumber and Agedashi TofuNigiri - Yuzu Yellowtail, Kanpachi, Garlic Tuna, Ame Ebi!Yakitori - BLACK GARLIC SESAME BEEF, Crunchy Chili Garlic Beef, King MushroomWe had plenty of rolls too which our group loved but I'm less of a roll guy. I loved the fish to rice ratio on the nigiri and definitely wish I had room for more beef.Only knock is the ginger was a little sad but still worked out for a palate cleanserCheck in on Yelp for an ice cream!
