The two staff we interacted with here were friendly and professional. While one took the order and got the food ready, the young lady manning the cash register explained we could win a chance to get 15% off if we won in a rock, paper, scissors battle. I lost, but I thought that was a fun and unique way to interact with guests. We ordered a lot of food bc it's not often we come to the UNLV area. It wasn't until I saw my bank statement that I saw this establishment was affiliated with mom's refrigerator... a banchan store on the west side. Anyway, I thought all the kimbap were really good- however they don't hold up well to have as leftovers the following day. The rice gets dried out. The beef also didn't have that grilled/browned look, it almost seemed simmered in water. That was a bummer. The japchae was served freshly cooked, so it was warm. The bingsoo was ok. The inside of the store was clean, however, the neighborhood wasn't the best. A homeless man came in, along with his strong essence, and I was glad to see he was afforded the same customer service as us. He too was challenged with a game of rock, paper, scissors- he won. Personally, I'm glad I tried it but I'll prob just go to mom's refrigerator for kimbap and banchan.
