Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll

Cozy tucked away a spot in south scottsdale with a spacious dining room. We enjoy take out or dine in. Always friendly, fast service. Food is served hot and fresh ingredients always. We enjoy the Pho. Nice generous portion of broth and the garnishments and protein all nicely presented on the side. Chicken Pho- 13.99Vietnam wings - 7.99

Start off with the positives DoorDash Delivery was great. The Taro Smoothie was delicous & not too sweet. The Fish Sauce Wings were good, but didn't have any kick. The Steamed Pork and Shrimp Fresh Roll & Lemongrass Flank Steak Fresh Rolls hit the spot with peanut dipping sauce. The Fried Potstickers wrappers were too thick & were not crunchy . Next time I may try a noodle dish & anothr drink.

Food was good. I'm not necessarily the best but I've ever tried but definitely worth coming back. The grilled pork Bahn mi was so good!!! Food service was super quick. And the playlist actually goes crazy. Me and my family will definitely be back!

Food 2/5 - Their shrimp eggrolls were great. Packed with juicy shrimp and made fresh to order! However, their pho was terrible. Broth was alright but I could tell they cut corners when making the broth - does not have that deep, "cooked for hours" taste. The noodles were choppy and all clumped together. They were def either pre cooked way before being served or they use old noodles. Zero chew to them. Just breaks off when trying to pick it up. Also no onion or cilantro with your pho order.Service 3/5 - Prompt service and she checked in on me here and there. Nothing crazy, but also wasn't rude or unfriendly. You have to pay at the counter at the end, which I wish I knew because I just sat there waiting for a while.All in all, mediocre experience.

My husband got pho and said it was decent but he has had better.The egg rolls were good, but I wish they included lettuce like they normally would, and the portion size is very small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.The Thai tea was good.

Service was good, food was okay. Portion was a good size, but our vermicelli noodles were too soggy and over cooked. This was our second time, but I think it was just okay.

Horrible experience. The food is overly priced & bland. The food arrived at the table very timely, but I've had way better Pho than what I received here. You have to pay at the counter, which is odd because people reference this place as fine dining. It is not. The check out girl was rude. I wanted a tea to-go, but decided against it after our encounter. I won't give them another dime. On a good note, parking is plentiful.

This review is for the bad service for the take out order we had today. We only ordered two things, and my husband came to the restaurant to order and wait to pick them up. He read the receipt and said that it looked like the correct items. When he got home, we found out that one order needed to be corrected, they gave us a shrimp Pho instead of a beef stir fry. To make it even worse, even if we wanted to accept the wrong dish, we couldn't, they did not include any broth for Pho. My husband had to drive back. They gave him the correct dish this time, and gave him a weak and feeble 'sorry.' No offer to compensate or discount for his time, gas, and inconvenience. This is bad service without taking any accountability.

We've been to several Hello Vietnam locations in the area and this one though 4 stars, kinda disappoints when it comes to service. The staff didn't really check on us after we received our food and it felt like it took forever just to wave someone down to checkout. There was only 1 other couple in the restaurant so it wasn't like it was packed and it was lunchtime. The food was good, we've been to other locations of Hello Vietnam that had more flavorful pho. Just so ya know there's a 2% up charge for credit cards. All in all, decent but we'll probably stick to our regular location.

Good food not bad ambience. I would have liked it to have a bit more inputs from our server due to the luck of knowledge and experience of this cuisine.
