Hello Em Viet Coffee & Roastery

One of the BEST tofu banh mi I've had - the bread was perfectly toasted the tofu was soft but not too mushy, not over flowing with veggies - just the perfect sandwich for a quick afternoon bite solid 10/10 for me. The coffee is also very strong but tasty. The egg cream coffee was a solid 9/10. Service was great the lady behind the counter was very patient with me as I figured out what I wanted to order. My one and only downside is the seating arrangement. The chairs are a high for the small tables so it a bit hard to sit and enjoy the coffee and/or foo having to reach for it when setting it down. Not ideal for a spot to work or study at unless you rent out the table in the back. However good place to catch up with friends - there is a couch in the back for a more comfortable spot

i came here to get some work done and it's such a cool space. the drink was super delicious and i love that they play v pop. my friend and i sat at the couch which was pretty comfortable but not the most ergonomic for working on your laptop. i also noticed that they have bookcases full of books by asian authors and you can check them out at the tables in the back of the shop. this is my favorite thing about this place. i'm always looking to read books about the asian experience so i love this idea

This is a small coffee shop attached to a creative space and has limited seating. Love the celebration of culture here. You will find a menu of Vietnamese coffee creations that aren't super common. We got the cà phê lá dúa (pandan condensed milk) hot. Pretty smooth, very light pandan flavor, and you still taste the dark, roasted coffee bean flavor.And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.

Love this spot, probably my all time favorite vietnamese coffee shop in the states. The vibe is incredible and their knowledge sharing of vietnamese diaspora in Seattle plus art from local artists is the cherry on top for their community. The coffee itself was wonderful, the maggi drink was surprisingly delicious and their egg coffee was decent. Also loved their banh mi pate and service was efficient!

Beverages*Drinks- got a tea, light and flavorful. Warming for the soul. *Ca phe su da- standard yummy. Ambiance- cuteLocation- street parking. Area is not ideal with all the homeless down the street. Just be mindful of your surroundings. Value- fair. Recommend- yes. Will be back to try the food!

I love the food, drinks, and decor of this place! It's one of the coffee shops I bring my friends to who are from out of town and it's always a hit. They have unique flavors ranging from classic Vietnamese coffee to more exciting flavors. It can get busy so seating is limited, but I've been able to get a seat every time I've been. It's street parking, but plenty of spaces, especially up the hill.

Went to buy beans. Very good service and if you want those robusta flavors this is your place. Family all got coffees and were super happy with selections especially the cold drinks.

Great spot in the International District. Can't go wrong with the breakfast croissant and ca phe may.

My puppy and I love going to Hello Em on our morning walks! Their coffee is delicious (I have yet to try their food but it looks so yummy!) and they are very dog friendly. Great service too- the workers are always so kind and helpful! Highly recommend and bring your dog too!

The best Vietnamese egg coffee I've ever had! I was recommended this place by a friend who lives in Seattle. I'm so glad I stopped by before heading to Vancouver.Their Banh Mi sandwich was also delicious. I've never seen any place press the baguette like they do, and it went really well with the meat and veggies inside.I love the vibe inside--everything from the decor to the drinks and sandwiches. The staff are very friendly and our orders were done really fast.I highly recommend this place if you're in Seattle! I will definitely return if I'm back in the state.
