Super cute spot with parking in front of the building. They have renovated their outdoor patio area since the last time I was there. It's so nice!I ordered The Godmother. It was beyond filling. There was enough for an omelette worth of eggs on the sandwich with a fresh, sweet brioche bun. I asked for my bacon extra crispy which added that needed crunch and the tomato jam & chili crisp added the flavor. Great service -- the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Loved visiting Hearts recently for a tasty weekday brunch! This bright and beautiful cafe in East Nashville is a fun option for anyone looking for lighter, fresher fare. There is a small free parking lot attached (which is definitely noteworthy for East Nashville), as well as nearby street parking and another, larger lot right off of Petway Ave. My friend and I met up around 10 a.m. on a Friday and were able to grab a table right away. The seating area is small and a little tight - the tables are very close together. Not a huge deal, as I do think they're making the best use of the space they have, but just something to note if you're looking for a more intimate brunch setting. On a recommendation from my friend, I ordered their Eggs Benny. This is not your typical Benedict - your poached eggs and Hollandaise are served on top of hashbrowns instead of English muffins. I really enjoyed this fresh take on a classic brunch dish. My friend ordered the Brekkie Burrito, which also looked delicious.

The Eggs Benny at hearts is to die for I always get it with the heartbeet coffee which is surprisingly amazing :) the new patio is also really nice and though the food ticket times usually run up to 30 minutes or so because (I assume) their kitchen is so small but the staff are always ON IT with seating and running food considering how busy they always are! That being said, my only complaint is they do have a really weird to-go system that I don't understand. I've ordered online with them a few times and I always tip 25-30% online but lately they've been asking me to double tip when I arrive?? The first time it happened I told them nicely I already tipped online :) but they still asked me to fill it out??? I finally just noticed today that they're asking me not to just tip but to tip an EXTRA amount of between 2% and 7%. Which is very confusing especially since I've already tipped the amount I want to and they don't explain WHY they're asking me to tip again. Does the extra % go to BOH rather than FOH?? If so, can't management divide out the tip amongst staff rather than separate the tips? Does the tip online even go to the staff?? It just makes pick up really awkward each time and I really like this place!

Wonderful place with unique offerings! They don't take reservations. We had an early brunch to near the rush and it was so worth it. Parking is very limited so make sure that you give yourself time and be ready to find an alternate location to park. Our server was very nice. Food is very unique, they have the basis for you want like the smoked salmon on toast which or they have the corn Zucchini fritters which were so unexpectedly delicious. Their coffee was very good and they have variations of matcha as well. I didn't try it but they have a little bakery in the front counter and those looked amazing as well.

This was perfect for girls brunch. We absolutely loved everything. Drinks were amazing and you can buy them by the pitcher!! We sat outside on the patio and it was perfect.

This was a quaint little brunch spot with plenty of outdoor seating. We decided to eat inside to avoid the cicada invasion. I got the smashed avocado toast with a side of hash brown and halloumi. It was an overall good experience. The parking lot is a bit small and limited, but I guess you can find a street parking spot.

Super cute, calm little spot in East Nashville. Lots of natural lighting, plants, and good vibes. The Espresso Martini is to die for, not overpowering on the coffee - just right! Free off street parking is a huge plus! Beautiful, dog friendly, outdoor seating area out back. Service was friendly and quick. Will be back! :)

The food has such good flavor! Only complaint is that it is really loud inside, felt like I was screaming across the table. Service was nothing special.

Oh hearts, how I hate thee. Hearts and I have a complex relationship, the food is good once you get it but it's so overpriced it's crazy. A beat latte for 6 dollars, a burrito for 18 dollars. I always get it go to because every single time I've eaten there it must be between a shift change, for instance the last time we didn't have enough water cups, after 35 minutes we asked again ( we still hadn't received our food ) and 10 minutes later we got it. If I'm paying minimum 30 for one entree and a drink I think I should at least have water.... Anytime I'm in a pinch I'll order something to go but I keep all my friends and family away from this place

As Waze was bushwhacking us through Nashville trying to avoid the traffic on 65, we decided that it would probably be a good time to take a lunch break. Of course I pulled up my faithful Yelp and found Hearts. We got there at 11 on a Saturday. There was a large throng milling around out front waiting for tables. We requested first available and after a short 10 minute wait ended up sitting at the small bar. We probably had the best seat in the house, the bartender was an absolute delight. We ordered the ricotta pancakes and bacon to share. After another brief wait, our food arrived. The pancakes, topped with grilled pineapple and butterscotch sauce were delicious - the pancakes were exceptionally light and fluffy, the sauce sweet but not obnoxiously so. They were perfect and I'm glad we shared - we didn't quite finish them. Where the pancakes excelled, the thickish bacon was barely cooked. It may have had potential with another minute or two on the grill. Honestly, at $4.50 for three slices, I'd skip it next time. The brunch menu had the requisite avocado toast and a couple of other toasts that looked interesting. There were unique variations of traditional breakfast items. I don't know if this is a trend but the menu was heavy with sunny side up eggs - they were an ingredient on a good number of items. The menu was rounded out by a couple of bowls, a few sandwiches and some baked goods. There was an extensive bar menu of which I would have loved to explore but we still had 350 miles to go. As I looked around the restaurant, I came to the realization that we were the oldest people in the room by at least 25 years. That's all right - we were always the "cool parents". I guess we now need to embrace being the "cool grandparents"!
