Hattie B's - Airport

Hattie B's FTW! Anytime I'm in the airport, I'm grabbing some hot chicken from Hattie B's. This is a great location to grab a bite before heading downtown or heading out of town! This time I bought some chicken to bring home with me in the plane! Service is fast and friendly!

not sure what took so long for hattie b to be at the airport but boy was i glad to see it!the menu is an abbreviated version of the non-airport locations limited to their basics- tenders, wings, and sandwich.opted for the tenders and they were generous in size and at medium heat, sure had a good kick. boozy slushes and beers alcoholic offerings and fountain drinks. communal high top table, bar, and low top table seating options at first come first serve. don't forget the comeback sauce!

I heard this was a famous chain fried chicken restaurant in Nashville, so decided to try their chicken tenders for dinner before leaving the town. It came with three huge pieces of chicken and a yummy potato salad at $12.5. It was served within two minutes of ordering, and the hot fried chicken tasted so good. It was a bit salty though for people who can't handle heavy flavour. Overall, it was worth trying.

THIS is actually a tip, not a review because I only stopped for the adult slushie. It's a chicken strip spot with sauces & diff heat levels. I did order side of Mac n cheese Togo but brought it home to eat so I may do update. It didn't look good but I will reheat in airfryer. Cashiers were not personable but the kitchen lead (big guy) was keeling it moving!

It was aite - I went at the recommendation of my Uber driver. Maybe the other locations outside of the airport are better? Paid $18 for some extremely mid chicken and waffles. The waffles were decent but the chicken was bland (is there a spice level choice?) and was not crispy the way that the photos portray it to be. IMO not worth the cost! Sad this was my only Nashville foodie experience :(

It was our last day in Nashville and we had the opportunity to check off Hattie B's on my Nashville punch list here at BNA, Concourse C.The line to order was really long, but moved quickly due to a young lady named Brittany manning the counter who was very patient with me being a Hattie B's newbie. I ordered: two fried chicken sandwiches ($13.00 each); One Southern (not spicy) w/a slice of American Cheese ($2.00 extra); One "Hot" (as described on the menu board) adding bacon pimento cheese spread ($2.00 extra);Each sandwich comes with your choice of a side, so I chose Mac n' Cheese and Potato SaladA peach cobbler ($4.50)Two Sodas ($3.25 each)Pre-Tip Total: $44.79It took about ten minutes for my order to be called out from a separate counter. I was getting worried when others after me were getting their orders before mine was finally called. I didn't special order anything so I'm not sure why my order was delayed.I brought our lunch over to an unused boarding gate seating area across from Hattie B's because the few tables available inside Hattie B's were all occupied.I bit into my sandwich and quite pleasantly surprised. My wife and I both concurred that Hattie B's sandwich was really decent and may even be a bit better than Chick Fil-A's sandwich. I was unsure of how Hot the Hot version was, and for me it was not hot at all. A little bit of heat but nothing overwhelming. I think next time, I will be ordering the"Damn Hot" or "Shut the Cluck Up" version(s)! I'm on the fence about whether or not the Pimento cheese spread added anything to my sandwich: it was really tasty but really messy to eat once the spread began to liquify due to the heat from the chicken patty.My wife really like her Mac n' Cheese. Me, I thought it the sauce was a little watery and not that cheesy. I would re-order this again.The potato salad was mediocre, and very salty. Neither of us were fans of this version.I was really looking forward to the peach cobbler. I was sadly disappointed. I realize that most of this airport location's foods are shipped in from a centralized kitchen perhaps but this cobbler was horrible. The peaches itself were juicy and tasty but the filling used was starchy and tasteless. The cobbler crust was gross. It tasted like what Play-Doh smells like.I wished my first Hattie B's experience would have been better, but I do realize that sometimes the airport versions of the business does not always translate well.When we return to Nashville, I will definitely give Hattie B's another try outside the BNA location.

HOT!!! That's what it is. And I got the Medium level of heat. I've had Nashville Hot Chicken before, but not in Nashville. So this was definitely a treat. This spot is located in the airport... BNA on the way to the C terminal. I've heard of it before so I'm glad I got the opportunity to try it. I ordered the 3 Fried Tenders with Fries. My sauce choice was the Housemade Comeback Sauce. Must say that it is pretty good. It also has a lil heat to it too. The fries are well seasoned and are not mushy which is a good thing. Now for the chicken.... It's definitely crunchy and seasoned throughout. And the medium heat flavor was just enough. My lips are burning. lol. I like this spot. And I can see and taste why they are busy in this airport.

Why wait in line downtown when you can pretty much just walk up here? It's equally as good. The spiciness level was perfect. The taste was good. It was not as heavy as I feared. Nice option for a meal that will hold you over for a while.

Didn't get a chance to try Hattie's while in Nashville, so we grabbed it to go on the airport.We had the Sand (hot) and the tenders (medium). there was a line! we were nervous we wouldn't make our flight, but we got there in time- so if you're going to grab it to go, it's no fast food.Back to the food, it was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals on the plane. Even grabbed the seasoning to go!
