Hassayampa Barbecue

Whenever we drive from Lake Havasu City to Phoenix, we detour through Wickenburg just so we can stop here. Wife loves the catfish and their baked beans. Everything I've tried has been good. Heading back In a couple of weeks and we'll be stopping on our way home from Phoenix.

After a great hike just outside Wickenburg, the Hot Shots Memorial Hike, the lady and I were ready for a meal. We always check Yelp for guidance, as they have never steered us wrong. After a few minutes searching the site, we decided to stay local, support local and head on over to this place.This place is super clean. The decor is cowboy, roping and western. How awesome is that! The place looks great and was just the place we were looking for. We were greeted by a hostess promptly, we were offered indoor or outdoor, booth or table and seated immediately.I always ask the server their 2 favorite items on the menu for a little guidance. She was on point and ran down the menu for us with a smile. We decided on trying an app, the fried pickcles.....they were the best we have had hands down. The batter was done well and not only did they look like fried pickles, they tasted amazing. We both ordered a burger. (We have a favorite burger place in the valley, and it's a hard burger to beat in comparison.). Yes, we fell in love with the burger here! The server said they source their meats from a local butcher. How awesome is that. It's a 5 star burger for sure! The server also recommend the cream corn. Cream corn I said in my mind... I'm so happy she gave the recommendation! It was so good! Big shout out to this place. In smaller towns you hope for the best when dining and cross your fingers. You don't have to do that here. Everything was so delicious, Our server was amazing and helpful and we will definitely come back if we are in the area! This place hit the spot. I got the sampler platter and all dem meats were not even a sweet potato fan but get the SP fries as a side. They were awesome

All I can say it was an awesome place , service was excellent and the food was very good . Stopped for dinner on our way back from a weekend in Laughlin and Vegas and if in the area will definitely stop by again .

We stopped by this place as we were passing through from CA. We were pleasantly surprised with the good bbq brisket, rancher salad, buffalo chicken wings, & fabulous ranch dressing. My son who is super picky loved his food. Really cute decor and clean bathrooms. Our server Madison was really sweet.

This place is above a 4 star, but heard they're under new owners. Good atmosphere, attentive service, had a good spot for us with a stroller and the food was top notch. We had the Sunday lunch menu but wasn't missing anything. Excited to visit again and try a dinner. Good spot to try when visiting Wickenburg.

Good service. Seated immediately. Nice country ambience. Shared the brisket sandwich and monster potato with my dad and they were both very filling and flavorful! Brisket was so tender! Great meat portion on the potato. Recommend this spot!

I give this five stars as I'm weighting it based on the location and number of close competition which are few. I wasn't expecting the attentive personal service and clean modern restroom nor the updated I yeti or. Most importantly the portion size was double what you'd receive in Dallas for bar be cue. Great country music lightly playing throughout. Brisket was b+ but the pork especially ribs are top notch for this part of the country. Many drinks and full bar. Stop here for lunch.

Oh my goodness! If you like barbecue, this place is a sweet spot We had the sampler platter (ribs, brisket and pulled pork) with the hatch chili creamed corn, fried okra and added the onion stranglers. The ribs were, fall off the bone, moist and tender and was delicious without the sauce!The brisket was so tender I had to scoop it to keep it on my fork and the taste, yummy! The pulled pork was so tasty. The prickly pear sauce was top notch, out of this world! The creamed corn was truly "creamed" corn. It had a cream sauce with cheese and chili's in it, best I've ever tasted. The onions were sweet and not too breaded, the okra done right! Our server was sweet and engaging. The chef stopped by the table to ask how things were tasting. Overall, a great experience. Wish we lived closer, it would be a regular stopping place. Good job everyone!

This is my go-to place for ribs in Wickenburg. In Mariposa County. In Arizona.Yes, they're that good. They make this Prickly Pear barbecue sauce that is so good, it should be served in Heaven. If it was bottled in large quantities, I soak in it before Date Night. Well, a temptation to be sure. Their pigsickles rate top-hawg in my book, and that list is very short (for all Arizona). These ribs would do well to compete with anything you might find in Arkansas, Montana, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas -- yanno, rib country? (I'm an airline pilot who has had the lifelong quest for the perfect pigsickle over 39 years), pigishly making it a passion to find three perfect things in life: going whole-hog on this quest, I've made a pig of myself on crew layovers looking for that perfect pork delight. No, I'm not a porker, a foodie... just love excellent barbecue. Their brisket is excellent, but given a choice, I'd rather have their ribs.Very nice people here. Service is great, even when it's busy -- which it usually is. Prices? Well, these days... prices are what they are. Yanno? Hyperinflation is what it is, thanks to that mob back east. What prices AREN'T high? Quality pigsickles are gonna cost ya. Want cheap? Go to McDonald's, just not the one in Wickenburg.For those of us who like frying while eating in the evening outdoors (or who are accompanied by their favorite canine), there's an outdoor dining area where you can act like a swine while devouring their ribs. (Did I mention their Prickly Pear barbecue sauce is top-of-the-line best for their ribs?)Try it. Hassayamba Barbecue has something great for everyone.
