I was looking for some breakfast and came across this place. It had good reviews so I tried it out. It's a quiet little cafe. There's no parking in the front of the building, so I parked in the parking deck. The food here is good and my server was great ( I don't remember his name). The food came out fast too. I definitely recommend this place.

Great spot for a cheap breakfast. We got seated right away which was nice but the tables are SUPER close together. Service was great and food is good for the price. Some things were definitely better than others (the killer hashbrowns were incredible), but overall a solid brunch.

Small cozy vibe. Host and servers are great but they kept coming to the table so often that my friend and I had to keep stopping in midsentence a lot of our conversation. They also quickly cleaned our table as soon as you put down your fork. They could slow down a little bit especially since there was barely anyone in the restaurant at the time. Food is ok. I had a vegetable omelette and some type of cheesy hash brown. Omelette was a smaller size, but perfect size for me. The hash browns are like a thick piece of cake. You can get different kinds. The cheese they use tasted like it was processed of some type. It made the hash brown taste a little funny. It was a little too much potatoes for us and the taste of the cheese turned us off, so we didn't eat much of it. I come back again, but I probably wouldn't get the hash brown. And I'd like to try something else. Their menu has plenty of items to choose from.

This was a very nice place for breakfast out in the UIC area off Roosevelt Road. Could easily move up to 5 stars, but they need to fix a few minor things. First and foremost the coffee was 5 stars ... hot, strong, and plentiful. While it has a bit of a bite on first tasting, it is smooth going after that. We had a three egg omelet (only 2 stars as it was very overdone ... no moisture left in the eggs) and the chicken and waffle (4 star good as the chicken was tender and the meal came with three different and very nice dips). This chicken and waffle was the hit of the meal. The hashbrowns were good (4 stars) and the OJ was excellent (4 stars), so the accompaniments were just fine. They just have to work on getting all the meals for a table out at the same time and done at the same time. It is really just a timing issue ... but for a breakfast place, they have to stop killing the egg entries. JMHO

This was my first time here! Per the namesake of the restaurant, I tried the hashbrowns. The killer hashbrowns were recommended to me and they were really delicious and crispy without being greasy.The Eggs Benedict were good, but I always prefer is a restaurant can serve them on biscuits instead of English muffins (I know that's not common, I just really like biscuits).The service was good, I'll definitely check this place out again in the future to try some more of their hash brown dishes!

The best way to describe most of the food here is decent. Not good or terrible.Some things were overcooked like the french toast and big ol waffle. Panini was not a panini. Dry eggs, dry meat, not-melted cheese between two slices of toast.We liked the pork sausages and mini waffles.Service was good.

I absolutely love Hashbrowns! There can be a wait sometimes depending on when you go. They have a nice little outdoor area in the summer, on Maxwell which is a nice vibe. Their Hashbrowns are obviously out of this world and I cannot go there without getting a killer hashbrown. This is a whole meal, split one with a friend if you need to because it is so hearty but sooo worth it.

French toast was delicious but very strongly vanilla. Extremely sweet and got soggy very quickly. Fruit was extremely fresh and delicious. The eggs Benedict on the other hand was absolutely disgusting. The spinach had the same texture as dental floss and tasted the like refrigerator. Canadian bacon tasted freezer burnt and could have been crispier. The eggs were fine. The Hashbrowns were a bit burnt and extremely soggy, tastes very old. My English muffin was quick cold and the entire plate just did not smell good

Ordered on 4/10. I called to make an adjustment in my Uber order, an adjustment I do all the time at the location in old town location . We accidentally ordered from this location and they were not accommodating at all. After spending hundreds of dollars at this restaurant and choosing them over hundreds of other places we could give our business too, it was the least they could do. On top of that, when we got the order it was missing what we pay for! There were no utensils, no cream or sugar for the coffee, no butter for the bread. Not friendly on the phone when we called. Never again
