I still think they are the best taco spot..... truly insane quality steak and shrimp tacos. And tried the scallop and was beyond impressed. Never a long line and such fast service. The outdoor seating is perfect as well

I came to to this restaurant because I won a voucher for a couple of tacos and wasn't expecting much, but after taking the first bite I was pleasantly surprised! The tacos are LOADED and worth the money. Not sure what the sauces I was given were, but they added the perfect flavor to my meal. Service was quick and it was easy to order, especially for take out. And the restaurant itself is super cute, i love the vibrant colors and recommend stopping by!

We love this for a casual Sunday taco stop after a run on the beach! The California burrito and tacos were delicious. Each taco is quite large and filling and each of them comes with avocado which I loved. The salsas were muuuuah! Very tasty. Happy hour is everyday. People were very nice and helpful. Pay at kiosk and they bring food out to tables for you. There is outdoor patio seating! Dog friendly.

Harry's Taco club is the place to be! lots of outdoor seating though it gets crowded fast, with non alcoholic beer on tap. fish and beef tacos were tasty and the cali burrito was very tasty too! Walk up to the order window, not a typical service location, the food *is* good!

Solid carne asada burrito! The burrito was piping hot and the asada was well seasoned. I wish the guacamole had a little bit more flavor but other than that the burrito was very good and reasonably priced! I loved all the salsas that came with the burrito too. Great customer service as well

This has become a favorite spot for California Burritos while in Pacific Beach. My family has been coming to the area for almost 30 years for the Holidays, and I've made a point to get at least two burritos every time down here. Over the years, I've tried a handful of different local Taquerias and Mexican spots around where we stay. Most of them have been solid, a few not so much. As far as taste goes, Harry's currently has the top spot! THE SPOT: This is a hole-in-the-wall ordering window connected to the Cass Street Bar and Grill. We've only come here for lunch, so the Bar was always closed, but available to use the restroom. They have a little patio area with a decent amount of outdoor seating to enjoy your food in the sun. They have their own signage, which is unmistakingly black, white, and pink!THE FOOD:Hear me out, this is BY FAR the most expensive California Burrito I've ever had ($13.99), but it's also the best. First and foremost, they use seasoned fries. Game over. When I get a CA burrito, I don't want steak fries or super thicc fries. I don't want the burrito to taste more like potato than carne. The meat itself is cooked well and is very flavorful. There is also an option for a Surf & Turf (Steak n' Shrimp) Cali Burrito. This is +$2 from the OG Cali, but it was 100% worth it. The first bite I took was absolutely bursting with flavor! It was juicy and delicious. There also was no shortage of shrimp, which is always nice to see! I noticed they also have Carne Asada Fries, and given that they use deliciously seasoned fries, this is something I would try in the future! Added a side of chips and guac ($5.99). Solid, but nothing to write home about. They also have 3 special sauces, so make sure to get them with your order! There is a red sauce, an orange chipotle sauce, and a white (creamy horseradish?) one. To drink, I ordered a watermelon Agua Fresca. I opted for the large, and was happy I did. It was fresh and refreshing! They have other flavors like Cantaloupe, Pineapple, Strawberry, though I think it varies day to day. They also have Horchata, as well as Jarritos and Mexican bottle sodas. Harry's has cemented itself as an official stop during our Holiday travels to PB. I'm already craving this burrito again...IG: @bbnem.food

Getting back to normal #12Everytime I use the post office next door, I need to stop here The mural of Our Lady of Guadelupe, patroness of the Americas is what first caught my eye. It says, " Pray for tacos" it's not irreverent, so I don't mind it, plus maybe some people will learn all the cool things about her apparition... I still can't get over that the pigment not only can't be identified on earth, but that it hovers over the tilma...but I digress, the best thing is the message of Our heavenly Mother...Back to the good food. I love their cantaloupe agua fresca with juicy bits of melon. Can't go wrong with any of their tacos or burritos. Love the seafood selection and meats in those. Great sauces too. What else can you ask for?

Wanted to do a second review now that I'm back in Cali. Went with fam and got spicy shrimp tacos, fish tacos, carne asada burrito, steak and shrimp tacos, quac and chips. Everything was delicious. Service and order time efficient. Carne asada burrito was actually incredibly flavorful.

5 stars +++ for the California burrito. Even though they're kind of pricy these days, it's still my favorite burrito in PB. Totally worth it. Make sure you get all of the sauces with it. As for the rest of the menu--skip it. The tacos are mid and the chips and guac just aren't worth it.

ALL AREAS ARE REVIEWED 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Parking-4-Just like any restaurant/food location in PB, unless they have a dedicated parking lot your stuck trying to find a spot on the street which can be hit or miss. (There is a lot next door that you can pay to park in so don't despair)Seating-5- While there is not a lot of seating, the seating available is perfect. There is a raised bench area with umbrellas for diners, with seating for probably 24-30 total. Wait staff-5-Tori was great, answered all my questions and didn't laugh at my order (I'm not very adventurous with my order). Speed of Service-5-While I couldn't see who was cooking I'm guessing that they are next door at the adjoining Cass Street Bar & Grill, either that or they are housed in the back of the taco shop; either way the food came out quick and hot, and just the way I ordered it!Food-5-Again I am not very adventurous when I order, but I know what I want and this is it! I ordered the California burrito and it was perfect, lots of meat and just the right amount of fries. The tortilla was great, a tad crispy which is exactly how I like it. Ambiance-5-It's PB, and Harry's is a staple of Cass Street. Your outside and enjoying the location, you can smell the ocean and feel the breeze. Price-5- About $15 for a giant California burrito and a drink, just drop a $20 to include the tip. Overall-5-There are a TON of Mexican restaurants in the PB area but the food here really stands out. The pico and salsa area great and the food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Shout out-to Tori behind the counter, super nice, great conversation, and quick to come out and raise up the tables umbrella. Make sure to buy a t-shirt or hat!
