Harold's Chicken Shack

Take out location, no dine in option.... the place got busy as soon as they opened. Order and wait for your food, take it back home or eat in your car. Chicken wings were ok, was bit over fried, the 2 pcs dinner was good and I liked the thigh better than the drums as it was better seasoned and more juicer then the drum. The interior was nothing special, walk in, order and wait for your order. I waited long time for my food, but guess what, the food was bagged and waiting, the staff kept telling me it wasn't ready, when it was ready, they need to fix this.

I ordered through food delivery service so I can't give much on the ambiance, but the taste of the food was pretty good! They also got my order correct. Will definitely order from them again!

Chicken was FRESHLY fried not fried and then dropped again. Mild sauce was perfect. Cooked perfectly! Golden and crunchy. They taste just as good as when they were across the street.

Quite disappointed with the size of the chicken wings. Very small. Food was tasty. Food appeared to be cooked to order.Music playing in cooking area and person taking order unable to hear....New establishment, plenty of parking.This location needs a drive thru and better organization.

The GOAT! I've always been satisfied with this location. This time was no different! Chicken & fish was fresh and hot made just like I like it! Keep up the good work! It was quick, friendly and most importantly delicious.

Tasty, warm, fresh, plenty of mild sauce, juicy. Delicious . Everything you want and expect from Harold's chicken. Not disappointed.

Harold's chicken on 87th and State where the gas station is has terrible food. They get a zero because the chicken is old and hard to chew. I don't think they ever changed the grease and the fries taste horrible it has to be some type of low-grade potato it's horrendous. No Harold seasoning, and that barbecue sauce is definitely not Harold's. I'm disgusted I spent my hard earn money.

I drive all the way from the suburbs for my liver/wing combo and it's always fresh, takes a lil long but it's definitely worth the wait.

I love me some Harold's Chicken. This is my go-to place for some fresh hot crispy chicken and fries. This location failed in that area and service. Horrible service I feel sorry for whoever comes across this place since whoever runs it seems pretty terrible at their job. My fries were hard as a doorknob and my chicken wasn't fried crispy. My chicken tasted like it was just reheated in the deep fryer. Lack of flavor and stale taste. I was so disappointed even to write this review. I called to inform them about my order and the woman that answered the phone was so rude, she said: "We are not taking any orders over the phone you need to come in". Then she hung up the phone without hearing what I needed. The prices at this location are too high and not worth spending my good ole hard-working coins
