Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar - Marietta

Real chill place nice vibe food was great you me along time for it come out but overall had a great time

It's been a few years since my last bad experience at Harold's on Roswell Rd, Marietta. Tonight reminded me why I hadn't been and won't be going back. Went around 9 (Saturday night) to grab a bite and a cocktail. The place wasn't crowded, maybe 10 tables occupied at that time, but the bar area was pretty full. I sat at the bar, ordered perch and wings which took almost an hour get. While I sipped my cocktail the music was good but wayyy too loud for me, so I decided to take my food to go. WOW, what a disappointment! First, I didn't get the side I ordered, instead, some limp greasy fries they put my overcooked and UNseasoned (at all) fish, which wasn't perch, and wings fried in dirty grease on top of. The only reason I gave Harold's on Roswell Rd a 3 rating was because the bartender who was also my server, was pleasant and apologetic and tried to make it right by getting what I ordered. Then I got my check, which was $28 but a surcharge if I used a debit card, which I did. The worst part is that the nasty, greasy, flavorless food made me sick . With so many better options in Marietta people, Harold's continues to disappoint!

This place was just OK. The chicken wasn't hitting at all. I was shocked because my expectations were high since it is a chicken place; however, the food came out hot. Karaoke was fun (Thursdays), though. Would I be back? Probably not.

As a out of town visitor . I had a good time. The food is so good and served nice and hot. I love that. The drinks were ok. The dj was decent. The ambiance in the second area set up like a lounge is nice. They offer hookah and some good priced drink specials. I'd come back again the next time I'm in town. Also plenty of parking and no one is charging you to park I appreciated that.

Today I was charged a $12 gratuity on a pick up order. I order from Harold's and pick it up often on the weekends and have never been charged this gratuity. I was told this is automatic on the weekend but by the signage that should only be for parties of 6 or more. I will be contacting management to see if something has changed.

I once loved this place. But these new charges on the bill are crazy. I paid an extra $10 in taxes and fees for some chicken and a lil drinky drink. lol fool me once. But not again. And the music sucked

Bartender "T" was there when we arrived, was awesome, but her shift was over. Place smells like skunk. Brandon K talks so low. Can't hear him, not friendly. Runs hands all over face, but doesn't wash hands. Bartender wears wife beater shirt, not appropriate to have arm pits out at work. QR code menu different at restaurant than onlineBread wasn't toasted, food was over the top salty.Didn't want cole slaw, said we could swap for fried okra but was charged extraMusic too loud. You get charged to use a credit card and there is a random surcharge added on too.

Najah did an amazing job!! From the food, drinks, hookah, music, and great hospitality ALL ON A WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. Thank you baby!!! I will be back!!! Y'all come and see US because I will be here on Wednesdays mmmmmmmmk!!!!!!

Overcharged underqualified don't recommend at all if your able to find a better wing spot do so with no hesitation
