Harney Poway

Came in last night for my granddaughter's birthday. We had amazing service from Savannah. Everything was delicious, my favorite was the salmon filet. The only issue was the AC was not working and it felt a little uncomfortable. Both servers were doing a great job and kept our drinks full. They seemed to be helping each other get through the what looked like a dinner rush.

The service was poor. The food was not great. We were a party of 10 and were seated at the large table for dinner on a weekend. The sweltering heat inside the restaurant was unbearable. Once we ordered and the food slowly came out, there was a span of 20 min where a few of us were waiting for the rest of our order to arrive. There was a waitress who looks like she works out who would come to the corner of our table and tell me and my husband to pass everyone's water along. And then she did the same thing with our appetizers and entrees. So, are we supposed to do her job?? When she brought our vegan roll, she said "this is the fake one." And then there was the ice cream. It came out MELTED.

Yum yum yum!!! Came here on a Friday evening and it was not super crowded so I think a rsvp is not needed but the food and service was great!My friend and I ordered 3 rolls and we were satisfied. We ordered the Ana roll, Lightning roll, and the Sea Spider. One down sod was there were out of black cod and replaced it with eel, I wanted to try the black cod. Out of the three I liked the Ana the best, it was a nice, more refreshing roll. All the fish were fresh, nothing was fishy or gamey. I will definitely be coming back!

The BEST sushi in the area and most definitely top 5 in San Diego. I highly recommend trying this place for lunch and/or dinner. The service is terrific !

You get alllllll the stars for:1) giving customers the capability of making reservations on your website2) delicious food3) Zoey, our waitress was wonderful4) having a dish called miso harney-because I was dyinggggg when I read that.Had reservations last night, but to my surprise it had not gotten busy yet. Ordered the harney peno, dynamite roll, a fried salmon skin hand roll and the rock shrimp dish. Good amount of food and plenty of leftovers for lunch today.I did dock half a star since the floor was a disaster and some of the tables with place settings needed to be rewiped...other than that-a well deserved 4.5 out of 5. This will be my new place for sushi since Akai Hana closed in Rancho Bernardo in December. Thanks Harney sushi!!!!

New sushi restaurant and we went for their great Happy Hour. It is from 5-6pm on weekdays. I think 1-3pm on the weekends. No alcohol yet but was told that it's coming in a couple of weeks. Food was delicious. Love the grilled salmon with green salad. The portions were big and prices were reasonable. The deep fried ice cream dessert was much larger than expected too. It came with strawberry ice cream which we wouldn't have chosen but still good.Will definitely be back!

Harney has a great name and been to Old Town while they are not affiliated We went because of their high reviews for the Poway location however Left within minutes of their bad service and poor service. Looked around and seen people with no sushi on the tables. Went down the street to Yukumi and was greeted with a quickness and attention.

Food was just okay, our waitress was friendly BUT food took forever to be served. Half of the party already finished their food while the other half barely received their food.

Our new sushi spot! Love the sushi rolls here. At first my main place to go was sushi lounge but there I only liked one roll. Here at Harney I have tried multiple rolls and I am very happy. A little pricey but sometimes the prices are worth the taste! We love the service at the bar, they are very knowledgeable and great to chat with. The inside is nice but a little dark. We will definitely be coming back here for more sushi!
