I got the milk tea boba tea and it was okay. The boba has no flavor or texture. The milk tea was okay on the other hand.

Solid banh mi! Everything I could ask for: warm, crusty yet soft bread enveloping plenty of pickled veggies and juicy pork. Satisfying for my belly! And nice, quick service for a pick-up order. I let them know their phone number wasn't working to call ahead. Love that this gem is near my house as it rivals the ID for these sandwiches. Will be a return customer.

Was here one year ago and decided to come back - let's just say I am JUST as pleased as I was last year! I got my usual order, a pina colada with boba & popping boba, and a grilled chicken banh mi. The owner is so kind, and I can tell she works hard to prepare good food and drinks to the customers. The interior of the place is bright and inviting as well. Will definitely be back again!

This humble hole-in-the-wall has such tasty Banh Mis! We got the grilled chicken & pork which were fresh off the grill & tender. The bread was not too soft that the sandwich fell apart and not too hard that it was hard to bite in, the daikon & carrot slaw added the right amount of crunch, & the jalapeño added a nice kick. We also there was a special for $5 Banh Mis on Thursdays, so we'll be back to get that good deal!

I was disappointed that you can't pick the sweetness of the milk tea because it's powdered. But I was REALLY disappointed when I found an ANT in my tea. The clerk had a really hard time getting our orders right, and the tea was only so-so. Would have been a 2 star boba if not for the ant.

Super affordable prices for the amount of yummy food especially around Seattle area. Well seasoned chicken, pork, and beef for my combo noodle bowl and bahn mi every time. Delicious fresh fruit smoothies - mango pineapple, pina colada, or taro coconut are my go tos. The owners are always kind and make accommodations, they seem to make sure their customers leave satisfied. Very cute interior even though it's a small hole in the wall type of place. One of my favorite spots because of the homey feel.

Great neighborhood takeaway. We ordered the chicken bahn mi, with all the standards + side soup and it was made fresh. We also got a Milk Tea w/Boba and a Mango Special Tea w/ Boba. Both teas were yummy. The price and service were great!

Happy Tea has been in business for about 1.5 years, but I decided to finally detour on 9/3/23. Observations:Located by Metro bus stops. Tight front parking lot, more slots available in the back. Open until 8pm and proximate to several other food establishments & cafe.Limited onsite seating, not much vibe or ambiance - see attached photos. There's food and bevs, with discounted banh mis on Thursdays - see attached menu photos. The Homie chose to not order anything, in retrospect, he was smart. I had an iced pineapple jasmine tea. It was refreshing at the time, but I was dismayed in the end glancing at the requested receipt, this purchase had a bag fee, tax, and tip was $9. Note: I didn't add boba, didn't request or receive a bag, nor did I grab a straw or napkin. Plus a dismal amount of pineapple observed at the end. Pricey fruit tea water. Could of had a spot on milk tea or 20oz iced mocha elsewhere for less. Glad others felt this was worthy of 4 and 5 stars, but not for me. I waited this long, tried one item and it left me rather disappointed overall, 2.5 stars rounded to a 3 and that's being generous. Will I return? Will I be lured by discounted banh mis? Highly unlikely since there are other cafes, drive throughs, and late night spots in the North Seattle/Shoreline/Edmonds vicinity.

I'm glad I finally tried this place out. I ordered 2 grilled pork banh mi's and it was so flipping delicious! I think they grill the meat to order as it took about 7-10 minutes for the banh mi's to come out. The grilled pork was succulent and tender. It has the right amount of flavor/umami. I did think the carrots were a bit on the sweeter side, but it goes well with the sandwich.I'm not sure if the business is Vietnamese owned? I tried ordering in Viet and the cashier didn't understand me (the cashier was also the person making the banh mi's). Note, they do have banh mi ham but the owner/cashier (?) said it was American ham slices and not the traditional Vietnamese cha lua. Overall, I would come back to support this local business. The owner/cashier was very friendly and offered me free boba to try. I politely declined but will be back to try it out.

The lavender boba tea that I ordered at 5% sweetness was incredibly sweet. Even worse there weren't any boba in the boba tea, which is my favorite part of boba tea. I won't be going back. I was excited to have a boba place somewhat close but this was a letdown.
