Happy Lemon - U Village

Hands down, the best spot for Matcha Latte in the Seattle area. Creamy, perfectly balanced sweetness, and that hint of matcha goodness is *chef's kiss*. I came back for another one the next day. Definitely recommended!

There's a matcha latte with strawberry and I just requested no strawberry. She said the drink was not possible to make.... but I've had it before and felt she just didn't want to make the drink. No apologies just a flat out, "not possible". You can checkout my other Happy Lemon review for reference.My friend got the drink and it's just strawberry jam at the bottom.... I don't understand why I couldn't have had the drink. I didn't want a discount and I would even pay for boba if it was portion they were concerned about.This is also the loudest Happy Lemon I've ever been to, and dirtiest. The chairs were scattered on the left side toward the register with dirty tables. It felt like when you go to a public restroom and are unsure which dirty stall you'll settle with.Nobody could hear the cashier over the music in there, had to constantly lean over the register and ask for her to repeat. Just realized that the hours listed are till 9:30, there is no reason why the staff needed to put the chairs upside down on the tables like they were closing. They weren't closing, and we left because we thought we were being rude just by coming in late.On the way out, the rug caught on the door because it was misplaced. We had to close the door and physically move the large rug to exit.As someone who has been to all the Happy Lemon locations, I would just recommend a different location entirely.

Disclaimer: I only came to try the wheel cakeIt wasn't good. The shell pieces were cold despite me actively waiting, and the pastry wasn't sealed together at all-- the moment you bite into it the filling came out the other side. A huge disappointment.(Not rating it the one star it is because I doubt most people come for this.)

Happy Lemon has solid milk tea options - plusBubble waffles! Cute branding and storefront at u village. Ordering was easy and staff were really cranking out everyone's orders. We didn't have to wait too long even though it was fairly busy. With their beverages, you can customize ice and sweetness levels which is much appreciated. I got the classic milk tea with boba at 30% sweetness and was happy with it. The chocolate bubble waffle was good too. Worth a stop if you're in the area and need a treat!

I ordered the roasted Hokkaido milk tea hot and it was great. I would definitely stop by next time I'm shopping at uvill again.

Ordered Togo boba today while I was on call and have to say that the milk tea with boba, pudding and lychee jelly that I got was really good!The sweetness was just right and the boba was very chewy and soft! Definitely would recommend this place if you are craving boba!

We love bubble waffles, especially from happy lemon! Crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside! We got the oreo flavored one and also got the oreo sea salt dipping on the side? (I think thats what it's called) best believe nothing went to waste! LolLots of seating inside! It's located at U Village and very easy to find. I have tried plenty of Happy Lemons in my life and it never disappoints.

This is a review for one of the desserts and not for the drinks. I was drawn in by the ad for the wheel cake. When I got it, it didn't look like the photo and it certainly did not taste good. The exterior tasted gummy and flavorless and the cream was nothing special. I would not recommend that item unfortunately. The workers were nice and it came out fairly quick.

Happy Lemon is such a fun, unique, place to get a treat! The bubble waffles are delicious- I've tried both the Oreo and Original, and they both are winners. Bubble Tea from here has all been good. Most recently I tried the Hokkaido milk tea with tapioca, which I especially liked.

Personally found the bubble milk tea a little to sweet but was surprised by how good the matcha egg waffle was. While skeptical at first, the matcha flavor goes really well with the egg waffle and I'll definitely have it again! Staff were very friendly & our drinks were ready in no time. Also love the posters & deco in the shop - very bright and cute!
