overall ratingsfood: 4.5/5service: 4/5atmosphere: 5/5price: $value: very yummythis was my first time visiting Happy Lemon location in South Lake Union and i must say, it is certainly one of the most aesthetically pleasing Happy Lemon establishments in Seattle. navigating to this location may prove slightly challenging, as it is situated up a flight of stairs. however, once inside, i discovered that their menu perfectly aligns with other Happy Lemon locations in Seattle.during my visit, i had their Lemon Honey Jasmine Green Tea and Strawberry Green Tea with Lychee Jelly. both drinks were delightfully refreshing and served as a testament to the quality of this particular Happy Lemon establishment.i recommend paying a visit to Happy Lemon South Lake Union, especially if you happen to be in the area.

I really enjoyed my mango lemonade and they welcomed my enhancement request: add lychee jelly! I came in just 30mins before close and there were still like 10+ people in there, so the crowd speaks for itself how well liked they are. They had run out of brown sugar boba for the evening. They make it fresh and it was too close to closing to make another batch. Completely understandable. But my main let down was the lack of selection for other boba products (popping or more jelly flavors). I would have liked more options, but it didn't stop me for drinking the whole thing on my short walk home.

I like going to Happy Lemon for its consistent quality.While Happy Lemon is known for their fruit milk teas with the cheese foam, this plant-based boy stuck with a classic milk tea with soy milk. The non-dairy milk option wasn't immediately clear but asking helped clear up this expectation. Drink was as expected - refreshing, not too sugary nor creamy, but just enough to scratch my boba itch.Location is at its peak here at SLU. I loved being surrounded by modern skyscrapers with a small park to relax in while sipping on boba. It felt like we were living far into the future.

I recently had a really good experience at the UVillage happy lemon which made me crave their drinks and stop by this location, but honestly I was slightly underwhelmed. My drink was pretty solid (roasted milk tea) but the egg waffle was a little soft/soggy and the service was pretty mediocre. Still the location is convenient so I would stop by again for a drink.

This is my go to place for some milk tea and boba. I am obsessed with their salted foams. My go to is the milk tea with tiramisu foam. If I could just order a glass full of foam and no tea, I totally would. The taro tea with lychee jelly is another great drink. The ambience is casual with tons of lighting. This place is always crowded but they do get your orders out really fast. They have limited dine in space but most customers end up just taking their orders to go. They also let you customize your drinks in terms of the amount of sugar and ice you would want which I think is great, especially because the teas are usually super sweet.

I was so disappointed in happy lemon! The place looked promising and I walked in before checking other reviews. The staff is super nice and they are relatively quick, despite the long lines. But my drink was underwhelming. The boba was good, so maybe next time around I need to order something else. However the milk tea itself seemed watered down and not tasty. so disappointing!

Came here during a Kpop Cup Sleeve event and the line was long but that was expected. Cool experience, but I'm going to review Happy Lemon itself. I've had Happy Lemon from other parts of the country, and they're all about the same as the one in University Village. Service is quick, and drinks are always just average/mediocre. Nothing special about the drinks and I usually only get the fruit teas from here. The fruit teas are the only good things though, as the last times I have gotten milk teas from this place it just wasn't all that great.If you're in the area, Happy Lemon isn't a bad choice. But there are much better boba spots in University District to go to.

I go here sometimes when I'm in the neighborhood. The drinks are pretty good. My only gripe is that they only offer large size drinks - it's usually too much for me and takes me several hours to finish. The big size also makes it quite expensive, so it would be nice if they have the option of small size for less. Staff mood is usually neutral - they get their job done. The place is spacious and has nice seating area so it's fun to get some boba and hang out with friends.

It's nice to have a boba place within walking distance, so I decided to finally try this place out. I ordered their boba milk tea and enjoyed it. My favorite part was the boba because it wasn't overly chewy and tasted fresh. I would come back here to try other drinks.

Stopped by a lovely Saturday afternoon and it was packed! It took quite a while to get to the front of the line, especially as there were only two workers. But I got to the front of the line, and put in my order. I was mildly surprised to be told they were out of boba, but I tangented to another drink of ube with taro ball. My drink came out very quickly luckily, and it was well made and tasted delicious! Due to the rather nice weather at the time, there were more people consuming their drinks outside, and despite the rush, there were plenty of seats, though I opted to get my drink to go. Will be back!
