Happy Lemon - San Marcos

I was next door at UPS and as I came out, there was a delicious scent in the air. I decided to follow the yummy scent inside.I was greeted with a welcoming and pleasant young lady. I ordered two drinks, and she quickly made them. Both drinks were incredible! I had asked for half the sugar and it was precisely how I wanted. Ordered...Taro Milkshake with no Boba Mango Smoothie with no Boba On a warm day and no time for lunch, this was the perfect way to get hydrated with a yummy drink to buy couple of hours until we can eat.I wish I knew of this place before. Now I'll be here regularly!

Unfortunately, I have to give this place 2 stars. The person at the front just told me to use the iPad to place my order instead of taking my order. Then he made both drinks wrong. I told him to please remake them. He did & my daughters drink was wrong again so I asked him to please make it a third time. I showed him my receipt & what he made was definitely not what I ordered. I mean...the drink was over $8!!! The 3rd time was good but sheesh. Also, they are chinsy here with the toppings. I only had about a tablespoon full of lychee jelly in my drink. The only plus was that the drinks weren't overly sweet. I'm not going to be back again though. I prefer ding tea. I wish they had smaller sizes too.

Cute little shop. Lots of parking spaces and easy access from freeway15. Good selection of drinks. I tried fresh squeezed lemon black tea without sugar. I added boba and lychee jelly. The cashier told me it would be sour. I said that's fine. I was right. It was so good and refreshing. With some jelly and boba in it, it had a slight sweetness and I loved it! I would order a lemon one again. The other 2 drinks are also good. We all had 2 types of boba. Lots of boba to taste each sip. Chewy boba and gelatin created a great combination of texture to enjoy drinking. The waffle looked good, so I added it to my order when Owas waiting my drinks. Crispy and soft at once, it is a great snack. I liked original the best.

I love Happy Lemon and used to go to the Carlsbad location with no issues. I have been to the San Marcos location 3 times and always have had terrible service. We went in today and the girl taking our order was very rude. My husband and I both asked for less ice. When she asked for modifications to ice or sugar I said "75% ice please" and she rudely snaps "of which one?" And I repeat "ice." Then she asked if we had and app and I say yes and start looking it up on my phone and as I'm looking I get "yes? No? Yes? No? What is it?" And we have to repeat that we said "yes." Again, this is not the first time I have had a worker be rude at this location. They really seem like they hate working there. I won't be going to this Happy Lemon anymore and will instead go to the Carlsbad one where they are always friendly.

Good addition to North County! I didn't have a good experience with a Happy Lemon in the bay, so I was skeptical to try it again, but my friend loves this place. I love the cheese foam. I love how much they put in there. This time the boba was nice and soft and tasty. I wish they had grass jelly though. One thing, I forgot to change my sweet level and it's realllllly sweet. I let the ice melt and it lessen the sweetness. I think 50% sweetness may be adequate.

Convenient boba spot in the Ralph's shopping complex. My favorite drink lately is the Strawberry green tea with salted cheese (I usually do 25% sugar and that's enough). The drinks here are unique and I'm excited to try more flavors!

This place is cute, clean and open. Great customer services. I ordered a lot for a big group and the server was very patient. To me, the drink is not as good as other location. I also order the taro milk tea but it look so different with the advertised picture.I like that this mall has a big parking lot so it is easy to find parking.

Super nice and friendly staff. Drink came out faster than expected. Highly recommend the Jasmine Green tea w/ salted cheese. (Iced)I appreciate the fact that they ask you for specific things in order to make sure your drink is how you like it. (Sweetness, ice lvl, toppings, etc)

Drink and Food was great, but service was horrible one of the employees kept slamming the door because people would forget to close it. Not once but twice and then proceeded to go to the back and throw/slam things around. The store started to get more full at this point and he made it obvious that he was angry so much to a point where a customer left cause they didn't feel comfortable ordering from him. Please do better. If you can't handle your anger issues, food service is not for you! (i've worked food service, still do and i've dealt with worse).

Happy lemon more like ANGRY LEMON . There's two guys in the front the short one is in the back slamming things and slamming the front door shut cause people aren't closing it all the way but how are they supposed to know that the door doesn't close all the way ? Obviously the door is defective . It's not that serious for him to be slamming things when the place is full of customers .
