Happy Lemon - Lynnwood

Not all Happy Lemon are equal. I love the one in Bellevue. Sure they're busier but their drinks and waffles they have it down. It's consistent. This place, I think should keep training and work out their inconsistency when it comes to their waffles and drinks.

Pretty clean Happy Lemon location near HMart. Came here on a Sunday night and walked from across the plaza. Plenty of parking, and the drinks came out pretty quickly.One note: there are surprisingly few tables given the amount of space in the building. 7 in the space with yards of space between each table. If someone didn't happen to leave at the time we entered, we'd be unable to sit down.That said drinks came out quickly, so not much to complain.

So tasty! Love the strawberry short cake boba and the service is always friendly and quick!

I have been to multiple Happy Lemon's by now, and this location remains to be my favorite. It's BIG, and it opens late! Till 10pm on weekends (not sure about weeknights). They also have the "memopancake" that some other locations don't have. Those are a bit spendy at $4.50 to $4.95, though. I usually stick with the bubble waffles that are big enough to share.Like I say, the place is roomy, yet with limited tables; it has been like this since COVID. I am not sure if that is on purpose or still due to COVID. I don't mind. I enjoy the space. It is well staffed every time I have been here. The drinks come quickly, and then the bubble waffle follows soon after. The Food/Drink:Chocolate Bubble Waffle, $5.75 - 4.5 StarsThe bubble waffle is the real reason I come to Happy Lemon. Crispy on the outside, soft on the outside. Admittedly, almost too crispy. (Hong Kong still does it better!) Amongst all places I know in the local area, Happy Lemon is still the best. I appreciate the consistency between locations, too. Ube Green Tea Smoothie with Salted Cheese, $6.95 - 2 StarsThe drink looks fantastic (very purple), but hubby said it doesn't taste anything like ube. That's a royal bummer for a $6.95 beverage.Milk Tea with Tiramisu Salted Cheese, $6.50 - 3.5 StarsThe milk tea is good. The tiramisu is somewhat recognizable - a mildly creamy coffee taste. Not a stellar taste, but worthwhile nonetheless.The truth is I have yet to find my go-to drink at Happy Lemon. I have tried many of them at different locations. I have identified at least one go-to drink at nearly all local boba tea places. I need to re-think my "drink relationship" with Happy Lemon and maybe settle for a bubble waffle relationship only. Sad face.

It's crazy to think that the first time I had Happy Lemon was 10 years ago and it's still going strong! This location is in a small plaza in Lynnwood across the street from HMart.I got the F1 mango jasmine green tea ($5.75) with salted cheese ($1) and 50% ice and 70% sugar. The drink was mango-forward with mango bits at the bottom. The drink had both a sweet and tart element that was not necessarily pleasant, but fortunately it got better as time went on. My girlfriend got the B4 strawberry jasmine green tea ($6.75) which was on their recommendations list and was more traditionally sweet. I preferred the latter.They have free wifi here as well as a second room separated by a sliding door. They also serve bubble waffles and other desserts like puff cream.

Never will say no to stopping at Happy Lemon for a drink or dessert! My favorite is the mango lemonade, but I get it with 30% sugar because anything more is too sweet. This last time I got the bubble waffle which was hot and crisp. Next time I need to try one of their dipping sauces, though for how much you pay I'd hope they'd give one sauce for free.Every time we've gone their cash register has had issues so hopefully one day they upgrade their system. But once you get your order, you'll forget everything else!

Solid Happy Lemon location. Interior is spacious, plenty enough parking and right next to the mall. I did an online order and they were courteous enough to call me ahead time that one of the items was not available and can get us a different drink. Drinks were solid as well.

Decent Happy Lemon location but still areas to improve. Looks like they have a few cabinets for games but there are no games right now. Wifi and bathrooms available for customers on the bottom of the receipt. This location in particular has Taiwan MemoPancake available whereas one might be more familiar with Mochi Donut at other locations. Great location close to Alderwood Mall, Costco, the theatre, H-Mart, and many other restaurants. Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Boba - boba can use some work as it's a bit firm and not super chewy. However, it has a great brown sugar coating which means there's flavor unlike many spots which have chewy boba that's flavorless. Either way, the boba still needs work but it's not sickening. Milk mixed at 50% sweetness is decent, it's a brown sugar drink so expected to be sweet.Wintermelon Fresh Milk - as seen here, depending on who makes this drink for you, you'll have a different ratio of wintermelon tea to milk. Either stronger and sweeter wintermelon flavor or creamier with milk. Either way, wintermelon is always a safe choice at all boba spots, but they don't have their pouring down quite yet.

What's not to love? Warm bubble waffles in multiple flavors with dipping sauces (the sauces are extra charge, and well worth it). Anyplace that is my daughter's happy place is alright in my book.We usually go to the UVillage location but happened to be shopping in Alderwood Mall this past Sunday and DD insisted that she remembered a Happy Lemon in the area. I usually go for the original bubble waffle paired with the salted cheese dipping sauce but the little always insists on the chocolate bubble with the Oreo fluff dipping sauce. This time she said I've never tried the Oreo bubble waffle so that is the combination we got, just swapped out the chocolate for the Oreo bubble. All of the dippings worked with the bubbles-- every time, no matter the flavor combos!I actually like the Lynnwood location better-- less crowd, better service (due to the lesser crowd), larger space (including a private party room), and no hassle to grab a bag for the leftovers??Perhaps my daughter is onto something and this needs to be my happy place as well!!I know this place is famous for their drinks, but I'll always prefer to eat my limited sugar intake over drinking it!

The food was delicious and freshly made. The service was awesome. The ambiance is a Boba Shop. This location is larger space than most other locations.
