Happy Autumn

At Happy Autumn in Renton today we began with two well-seasoned chicken skewers accompanied by a side of cucumbers, daikon, and carrots, finished with a sprinkle of peanuts and scallions. I like that the actual skewers had already been removed!For my main course, I chose the small Rare Beef And Brisket Pho, featuring a robust and flavorful broth, with perfectly thin slices of rare beef and brisket, along with onions and cilantro.Additionally, we ordered the large Tofu & Veggie Pho, which was a wholesome offering of clear broth, rice noodles, tofu, and an assortment of vegetables including carrots, cabbage, bok choy, bean sprouts, and fresh mushrooms, garnished with green onions and cilantro.While I have a preference for meat and found the beef broth particularly satisfying, the vegetable pho was a solid option for those preferring a plant-based meal. (I'm basically saying the beef broth was tastier though!)The staff was welcoming, and parking was conveniently accessible. The overall value for the quality and amount of food was very reasonable. A return visit is certainly in order.

It's quite ambitious for the owners to lease such a wide space, but I think their food and services are deserving of the amount of customers it can hold.I went during their grand opening special and got the bun bo hue and pho. The pho had a lot of nice foundational flavors and wasn't just flavor enriched by salt. So it was very soothing and the meat, supplementary add-ons, and noodles were enough to keep me full.The bun bo hue could have used more salt or spices in the broth to complement the toppings better. The bun bo hue came with the usual toppings as well as pork blood and a pork knuckle.Getting in and out was super quick and the owners were attentive enough to see if I needed more water or if the experience was sufficient.So I'd probably come back here more for the pho than the bun bo hue. Their menu is pretty extensive if you'd want to try out other items. Parking is good as you can park away from the QFC that's usually pretty busy.

I liked the pork chop special plate. Lots of food. The pork chop was tender and flavorful. The rice was very tiny grains. I think broken rice? The meatloaf was tasty. The egg was a nice touch. Veggies were all fresh. The chicken wing app was a little small. I wish it had more seasoning. I added Sriracha for more flavor. Service was prompt and efficient.

I've eaten a lot of pho in my life including in the Seattle area for the past 12 years. And while I've had a couple other items here on a prior visit, I discovered today that pho is their real gem. Flavorful developed broth and meaty tender oxtails, it is genuinely a top notch pho. Many places in the area offer a cheaper low quality offering so it's so refreshing to find a place that cares. The one waitress managed the dining room like a surgeon as well, helping up to six tables at once efficient and friendly.

The food is fantastic here! We ordered the stir fried Mongolian beef and shrimp. My goodness it was delicious! We ordered it again simply because it was so good. For the price it is so worth it. The place is clean and very well put together. The place was way better then we expected. The service was fantastic and super nice and helpful. We will be coming back again for sure!

Came back to Happy Autumn looking to satisfy my noodle soup craving on a rainy afternoon. I got the brisket pho this time and it was delicious and totally hit the spot. No complaints! My husband got the mixed veggies with chicken and rice and said that it was also really good. This place is solid. Highly recommend!

The food is AMAZING. I usually have a bowl of pho anywhere from 1-4 times a week. Sometimes more. Especially in the issaquah area, there aren't too many choices. But in Renton highlands there are now more than a couple places to fulfill the craving! I not only love the pho đặc biệt here, but I am a fan of their combo vermicelli, the special broken rice plate, bun Bo hue, and the egg rolls are so crispy and crunchy. While it is sad we lost KC, finally we have a viet restaurant in the QFC plaza! Ok. Also, their chili oil. It's homemade and awesome! I asked if I could buy some and they respectfully declined... it's that good! I can't wait to try their banh bột chiên. It's their special this weekend and they frequently update the signs in the tables. I wish I had pictures to include but it was so good that I ate it all before realizing I was going to snap some photos. I'll take some tomorrow.

Did a takeaway order today having heard from friends that they just opened with a limited menu. Friendly staff and great food. Inside looked very clean and welcoming. They said they'll be expanding the menu after they start advertising more outside of this soft opening period. Enjoyed the pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl, chicken bahn mi sandwich, and two iced coffees. We'll be back to dine in next time to try the pho.

We came here last night for a spur of the moment family meal (8 of us). I only took photos of my food which was the calamari satay, pot stickers and Brisket and beef phoAll three were very good. The sauce with the calamari was flavorful but spicy. He warned me. But great taste. Pot stickers were good as well. It was my first time trying Pho and it didn't disappoint! Service was amazing and the food came out hot, fresh and fast. The place was clean with a tv on. Highly recommend this place.

I always order pho tai with extra lemon when eating at any Vietnamese restaurants, so when I found out a new one popped up after KC Seafood's original owners retired, I knew I had to give it a try.Simply said, one of the most delicious! The broth was savory, and mixing jalapenos and 4 lemon wedges (cough cough extra lemon) created a beautiful melody of hot and spicy pairing that's just mouth watering. The condiments were all fresh, and the noodles were cooked exactly right when the dish is served (as opposed to it either being overly soft or still raw-ish). Order an extra bowl of rice when the noodles are done, mix it into the soup, and omFg it's comfort food 1000%. I don't wanna alarm anyone, but I think I found a new pho spot~~
