Hanshin Pocha

This is one of my favorite places to get Korean fried chicken. The chicken was cooked really well, the sauce was good, and it's open pretty late which is always a plus since I'm a night owl. However the whole vibe of the place feels like a bowling alley which is kind of lame.

3.5 stars. Ordered to-go via Fantuan. Everything was ready at the said pick up time. Looked like a large restaurant with colorful lights, def a karaoke atmosphere although not sure if they have KTV.Egg omelette: got the regular one without meat. I love cheese so appreciated how much cheese was in it lol. Tasty.Grilled squid: Not as good as expected. Cooked fine, wished the sauce was thicker. Maybe better to have in person than take out.Fried whole chicken: crispy and delicious. Fun to pull apart. The chicken isn't that big - probably a cornish hen?Crab egg soup: thought it would have real crab, but just crab sticks so that was a disappointment. Lots of diff veggies in the soup. Thick soup and flavorful, husband really liked it.Overall not bad, felt like the price point was a bit high for portion size but we enjoyed the food for the most part.

It was our first time there, and we arrived early at 5 pm, being the first group in the restaurant. The place is spacious with cute decorations, and the K-pop music playing on the TVs added to the lively atmosphere.The menu had so many food options that we were eager to try them all. However, my group found the soup a bit too spicy for our liking, but the waitress kindly offered to adjust it for us. We ended up ordering a variety of dishes including grilled squid, Ojingeo Bokkeum, Sunsal Chicken, Deep-fried whole chicken, Kimchi Jeongol, Dumplings, and DIY Rice Ball. The DIY Rice Ball activity was a hit, especially with the kids.Overall, the food was delicious, and we managed to handle the spiciness well. We're already looking forward to returning at a later hour to experience the rumored cool kids' dining time, which we hear is like having dinner at a nightclub.If you're up for a fun dining experience with great food, I highly recommend checking out Hanshin Pocha!

When we went it was mostly empty. I think people come here mostly at night and do karaoke and dance? The food was kind of overpriced and the kimich stew didn't have any spam... the food was alright but I'd get their whole fried chicken. This isn't the best Korean food I've had but it's not the worst. I was also surprised we didn't get any ban chan

Great place for groups! Each couple ordered a dish and everything was delicious! Service was excellent and the ambiance was great. Our favorite was the squid, we ordered 2 plates! We'll definitely be back again.

Food taste wasnt good as before when its opened their first location in Los Angeles Korea town.

My friends took me here as they had been here a few times before. We ordered a pitcher of beer and they brought it so quickly with chilled cupsAs for food, we ordered the seafood noodles to share (I forget what it was called, but it's served with crispy noodles that complement the sauce). The portion size was obviously for sharing, as it was large with fair amount of seafood meat. The sauce was delicious and not too salty or overpowering. However!!! The small black peppers in this dish were incredibly hot; be careful if you can't tolerate intense spiciness because one bite of these peppers will really get ya. Overall, it was definitely a fun experience! The booths had high partitions, so our group felt private and cozy. We could ask for service at any time by pressing the button, and they would come to us within a minute! I will definitely come back!

Ambiance was great! Food was good. I would go back. Our favorite dish was the garlic chicken

It was my first time here at Hanshin Pocha and I had high hopes of their foods being good from the reviews that I saw. unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. We ordered the tteokbokki, the seafood stir fry crispy noodles and the crispy chicken (touchy maneul). Out of the three, seafood stir fry was the best. The chicken was pretty sweet and the tteokbokki was very soupy and oily with hardly any ingredients in it. After leaving the restaurant, I had the urge of wanting to drink lots of water. (Meaning = foods were salty). Service was okay. They only came to the table when you pressed on the button. Not too sure if I'll be going back

This is a really fun restaurant that my boyfriend and I tried one night for dinner. It offers Korean Street food in a nice ambience was cool vibes. It feels like a really fun spot to go out with friends late at night or even grab a bite to eat after a night of going out.For the food, we ended up ordering:Melted Cheese Pork Belly - amazing cheese pull, great flavor. A bit greasy, and heavier as a dish, perfect for soaking up alcohol at the end of the night. If you're looking for something light, I would try some of other menu items.Whole Chicken- this was the main reason we wanted to check this place out, the chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was incredible and we really enjoyed this dish.Pur Fried Rice- nothing special, basic Korean fried rice, although a little too spicy for our taste. It was helpful to cut it through with the free cabbage slaw that they provided with our meal.
