This place is so overpriced, go elsewhere and save your money. They claim it's better to share but the portion sizes and pricing make no sense. It's like they want to be tapas but couldn't figure it out how to size or price. Our server also forgot a main dish, blamed it on the kitchen and then clearly added it to the bill late and my partner only got his food after we checked on it 25min later and after everyone ate. No apologies or anything. Would not recommend.

I'll start by saying I loved that the vegan options are clearly marked as well as allergen. The food was tasty but was definitely NOT worth the price. The idea is that the plates are all to be "family style" but the portions are so small. It's more so for two people to share. Small portions and the prices are so high. In my opinion not worth it as there's so many other places that offer similar dining experiences for a better price. I was charged $2 for hot sauce that came in a tiny portion which probably cost .50 cents. My husband for a lamb kebab that was just a piece of meat and small salad for $30. Which I will also say have my husband food poisoning within hours of eating. I don't eat meat so I didn't get sick. Service was slow and not very warm or friendly. The restaurant has great aesthetics but I don't think we'll be going back. Especially with my partner getting extremely ill. Such a bummer as I've always wanted to try this place.

Great food, great music great cocktailsThanks to James for making the fabulous apricots sumac_~iri. I told him I didn't want it to be too acidic, so he was late on the lime and it was perfectly balanced. And happy hour this is $12 instead of 14. And that falafel dish five dollars on happy hour is a great deal. I've had falafel in many places in the world, and this one is fantastic. OK I wish the garlic yogurt was vegan. I didn't even ask because I am assuming it's probably not. . Take a look at my photo. They serve it with wonderful, purple cabbage. Everything was perfect.I came here at about 445 on Monday and it was very quiet. Sometimes that actually can work against you because you may have staff moving slowly and the beginners in the kitchen. However. It was perfect. They make a chocolate chip cookie with tahini and sea salt. That might sound strange but if you're a fan of chocolate chip cookies, it is delightful. I will definitely be returning.

Alright!!! Mamnoon was my favorite, so was the M bar so naturally I knew I'd like this place. But'n unfortunately, I've been here many times for large group dinners. Shared food. And never quite enjoy my food. Till last week. I came by myself and also for smaller one on one meetings. And I love it!!I've always like their chicken shawarma but love the appetizers more. Now I found my goto.Falafel; labneh, extra Arabic bread! Fried Halloumi! Cauliflower!Everything is just right. Though Halloumi last 2 times were both extra salty and I couldn't eat it. I still love the ambiance and service enough to return. Jordan is amazing! But! My favorite part though: their coffee. Turkish coffee, blood orange latte, baklava latte! Just all kinds of amazing. I absolutely love it. Went back twice in one week. Can't wait to go back again and soon!!

My friend and I stopped in for a quick bite, and I just loved the ambience, service and food. Everything was overall delicious, and we really appreciated the laid back vibe. Our server was attentive and sweet, and I can't wait to be back to try more things!

I've dined here more than a handful of times and it's been delicious each time. The service members have been accommodating and kind. The restaurant can feel laid back during the lunch hour then a bit more of a dinner party vibe at night. We've had lunch, dinner, and brunch here and dinner is probably my favorite because of the larger menu offered. All four dips are good, but something about the caramelized onions in the labneh dip is out of this world good. We had the chicken wrap and lamb wrap today for lunch and it was amazing. The lamb didn't have much meat in it, but the chicken wrap was stuffed to the brim. Love that the wraps come with salad and frites as well. Great fry with their own spin on ketchup. I'm craving it right now! Can't wait to be back for another great time here.

The hummus here is amazing. Smooth with a good flavor of tahini. They serve it with whole chickpeas and a very nice olive oil with little pitas for dipping. They also have a wooden spoon for each dip. Their lunch price fixe is delightful. Had a falafel and a chicken gyro. The cookie at the end should be paired with an espresso martini for an amazing finish. Do bring a coat because it is always a little cool in the restaurant.

No change to previous review. All content there is still relevant, except they update their menu regularly so not all dishes stay available. They still have the dinner/upscale dining, the casual wraps take-out window, and bar seating happy hour menu. The restaurant has nice deco. They aim for upscale, and their prices reflect it. In retrospect, it is expensive for what the food is. Our server today was constantly hurrying us, offering to take our plates away at all times. No one is waiting for a table, and it wasn't near closing time. It was rather annoying. Dropping 0.5 stars, bringing a 2.7 average food rating to 2.2, rounding down to 2 Stars for this review. Newly tried dishes, all from dinner menu:Moushakal (mezze mix) $28 + extra Arabic bread, $4 - 2 StarsThis mezze platter comes with a little dollop of Basal Labneh (yogurt), Baba Ganoush (eggplant), Hummus, and Muhammara (red pepper). I honestly have had better versions of each one, most recently in San Francisco. What I object to the most is the price. That is very expensive for the amount of food we got. Halloumi, $7 (I think) - 3 StarsThis dish contains 5 pieces of grilled salty cheese. One of my table mates loved it. Another said it could be crispier. 2 others were neutral.Batata Harra, $16 - 3.5 Stars Menu: crispy fingerling potatoes, green garlic bi zeit, pickled fresno, labneh toum This is one of the better dishes. Well-seasoned, crispy fried. A spendy French fries, sort of.Aleppo Spiced Eggplant, $23 - 2.5 StarsMenu: roasted eggplant, naz khatoon, red shatta, aleppo, herbsIt doesn't seem possible for a dish that visually looks very good to taste ok+. Somehow, there's too much going on. The roasted eggplant didn't retain "body", so it's much more on the squishy side than the roasted firm side. And each strip is sitting on a lot of sauce, such that if it was firmer, it isn't anymore. The idea is good; the execution is not. Plus, it's also expensive. There are about 1.5 to 2 (Chinese?) eggplants on this plate. Shish Taouk, $28 - 2.5 StarsMenu: yogurt-marinated chicken kebab, sugar snap peas, morel mushrooms, black lime toum, fresh herb mixThe chicken is well seasoned and flavorful. I might order this again, but I suspect I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Service is exceptional!!!!!! I was SO amazed by the amazing service here. From the minute we walked in till we left. Our server was awesome. She had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable on allergies and was able to let us know food option that can be prepared without nuts. I wish I got her name again so I could give her a shout out!! Staff here are so friendly. We ate and sat talking for like two hours and not once did they ask us to leave or looked annoyed for not being able to clear our tables. Instead they kept refilling our waters etc. They ALL had smiles on their face which is really hard to find these days.Food was SO good as well. So many options to choose from. We had the brunch menu and I tried the espresso martini which did not disappoint, wish the glass was bigger, lol. They have unlimited mimosas which could be dangerous. Turkish coffee infused with cardamom was yummy. Falafel wrap was so flavored and those wrap are deceiving. They look tiny but are very filling. We had lamb as well on our table and I was told it was YUM. Hummus was so fresh and so good. Perfect amount of flavors. Let's talk about the fries..... seasoned with their secret seasoning hmm I could taste hints of lemon and paprika for sure but not sure what the other flavors were. I would just order a side of fries it was that good. Restaurant itself has a great vibe. Interior deco is lit, open kitchen concept so you can see what's going on, excellent ventilation so you don't smell of food.Parking is easy, you can park in the garage behind the restaurant or street parking. This place is located next to Sephora if you aren't familiar with Totem Lake.Definitely going back here.

Food is good, the restaurant is beautiful in a very convenient location. Too bad that you walk in even when it's not busy and all the tables are messy and dirty. I don't know why the restaurant manager lets this unwelcoming scene ruin the restaurant vibe.
