What a hidden gem! This poke shop just opened right next to Bobby's Hawaiian Style restaurant. The owners were so lovely. They told us about the restaurant and let us try many samples. Their poke had big cuts of fish and a diverse range of flavors. You'll find the Hawaiian classics like shoyu, limu, creamy etc but I'd recommend trying the ginger flavor ahi or ono. It reminds me of the Chinese scallion ginger sauce but with fresh fish. Very yummy! One suggestion if I may is to reduce the saltiness and increase the acidity of the kimchi cucumber side dish.I believe the restaurant is open from Wednesday through Saturday only.

We've heard good things about this new place so decided to try. Parking was complimentary in the plaza. Ambiance was welcoming with limited seating. When we arrived at lunch time, customers were lined up to order take out. Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered Aloha bowls with added blue fin, scallops and spicy ahi bombs and sat ourselves. Seafood was fresh and delicious. It's a perfect place for poke if you are craving. Great experience and we will be back.

Takeout reviewIn short There's serious poke competition around here now! You can get a beverage and eat at the bottle shop just across the way. That's what I do. This place is pretty tiny.In long I love having poke down the hill a few miles from me. Now we have this new place is just as good and has a long-enough menu...and it's half a mile from my house. I love it. We got in here during their soft opening, after more than one friend had already tried it and fallen hard for it. As others have noted, the owners are the coolest, nicest people. Evidently they fly in fresh fish every day. Thankfully, the finished product is still reasonably priced. We got two bowls, each with 3 different fish in it. Everything was excellent--tender, no fishy smell, tons of flavor in the seasonings. Lots of shellfish options, which you don't see everywhere. Great flavors in the dipping/topping sauces, including a real kick of heat in the spicy one. We also tried the dried fish, which has plenty of flavor and is probably a little chewier than sheet-style jerky. A little too chewy for me, though I enjoyed a couple pieces before I was sure about that. Poke always, always sounds good. My buddy Matt once taught me that you don't have to bother looking for inexpensive sushi. You can focus on high-end dining when you want sushi if you have good poke places around, which usually cost much less than sushi, and they scratch the same itch. I am so glad this place is here now.

Wow first thing is service here is very friendly and warm right when you walk in. Second, the fish is very fresh and one of the best quality poke options up north I would say on par if not better than Ono. The flavor options are all really unique.

I wish I discovered this place sooner. My wife and I went to the Lynnwood location and we were told by Jazzy that they had a location in Kent. The poke is phenomenal. I really love Seattle Fish Guys but the workers there kind of suck. Here, you're getting a mom and pop shop and super fresh poke. It always sells out so you know it's fresh! They let you taste some before buying as well. What's also a plus is that they have Chinese food at the Kent location. I recommend the beef fried rice and the wonton dumplings. For poke I recommend the bluefin and salmon!Melissa who is the owner is like a sister we never had and is always accommodating. Support them!!!! Thank you Jazzy and Kurt as well! Hopefully I spelled their names correctly!

Grand opening is November 4th. Right now is more of a soft opening with a limited supply, so they can sell out before 6:30 closing time. Basically, come early. As the newest seafood option around, they're already a strong competitor with some of the staples over in Edmonds. I believe they're from Kent, either opening a second location or moving. One of the few spots with marlin around Seattle, so this was my first time. They're also offering samples, I'm not sure if it's because of the new opening but I'm positive they'd let you try anything even in the future. Our day wasn't set to be positive due to circumstance but a visit here definitely lifted the mood. Friendly and welcoming service. Ample parking in the plaza, Hanapa'a is next to Bobby's.Limited seating at the moment (2 small tables, can be merged to fit a larger party) but we were told they're aiming to add benches. Highly recommend an order to enjoy at the beach or waterfront as an alternative.Poke bowls come with 3 proteins (bowl) or 4 proteins (plate) and include rice, furikake, crab salad, seaweed salad, cucumber, and roe. Very healthy, tasty, and filling. I'd guestimate each order of protein is 2-3 ounces worth. Overall well rounded. Would be fantastic to have more side options but keeping a limited selection does ensure higher quality. Mac salad is definitely a desire though, it would pair amazing with the bowl.Current (soft opening) fish include blue marlin, Hawaiian limu ahi, ginger onion ahi, shoyu ahi, and creamy spicy ahi. There's another ahi that I forgot about. There's also tako, scallops, mussels and crab. The fish was fresh and well cut. The phrase "fresh, never frozen" definitely applies here.
