Hana never disappoints! This small quaint sushi joint is perfect! Service is always amazing and food is always fresh and delicious. If haven't been into this small sushi restaurant, you are missing out. Definitely take time and go by for a visit. There is nothing on their menu that isn't good. Tonight we stopped in for graduation dinner. The waitress recognized us and threw in an extra roll for her, on the house.

One word: YUCK. I am a huge sushi fan and always down to try new places, and this one was bad. The sushi had no freshness to it, even the sushi at Publix is better than this. How a roll that is fried and has two sauces on top can still taste like air? No clue. Do not go here if you are a sushi lover!

Sushi is my favorite thing to review. Unfortunately Nashville is not a place to eat sushi. It's just not. I have gone to fancy places we've gone to mom and pop places but the pallet for Nashville and sushi don't mix. However, Hana is the best sushi I have had in Nashville. Their fish is always fresh and you can rely on their tuna being good for sashimi or nigiri, but that's about it.But what really keeps me coming back for more is what we call crack rice, which is shrimp fried rice that has no frills no nothing but for some reason it's the best fried rice I've ever had. Shrimp is always tender, moist cooked to perfection the flavoring of the fried rice is unbelievable and I crave it all the time hence the name crack rice. Also, I get udon noodles with beef cooked stirfry and again just excellent. So you can go here for a sushi roll or two and I recommend it however, try other things on the menu besides the Bento box or the tempura vegetables. You will not be upset with your decision.

Wow what a waste of time and money!This place usually serve good food but today was not a good day here. I ordered the lunch box teriyaki chicken, miso soup, spring rolls and a side of seaweed salad. 1) miso soup - so so, nothing to write home about! (Lukewarm)2) seaweed salad - server told me that they did not have enough for full order so they gave me a half an order of octopus to put with a half an order of seaweed salad. (I hate octopus.) nor did I know that is what they were going to do.3) The teriyaki chicken was SO SALTY that I wouldn't give it to my dog!4) I thought it would be better if I came during lunch time.........Wrong :-(1 star but I can't think for what? Should I call them? Return the food? What would you do?P.S. I did call and the person that answered phone said thanks for letting us know. She says she will let the cook know. Don't think I'll be back.

Repeat customer! Great friendly staff! We were welcomed in immediately and the server walked through the menu with us as we sat at the bar. The quality and presentation of the rolls are top notch! From California and hard to find good sushi out here but glad we found this spot! Highly recommend, they do a lot of business from online and pick up too. Side note: We went to rock n roll sushi right before down the street and left almost immediately after the server didn't help us get seated and didn't know what a Kirin Light beer was. Staff seemed confused the vibe was off. Not what you normally experience at a sushi restaurant.

Ths is an okay restuarant. It is clean and decent, and the staff speak Chinese. We called in for lunch and immediately called for miso soup. It was really good and the perfect way to begin any Japanese meal.The octopus salad was huge. At only $5.95, I had to wonder at the octopus as usually we only get a 'glance'. Here, we had a lot of octopus and it was good. Their sushi was just sushi...good, but not great.All told it was a good restaurant and definitely worth a fling even though the soy is refilled and the one we had, came with a broken lid. Also, they are licensed to sell alcohol.

I recommend if your really desperate for sushi. It's not bad but... the fried rice has no flavor and the meat is very tough. Sushi is a 6.5 out of 10

This is our go to sushi spot close to home. It's affordable and quite good! My fave roll is the spicy salmon, super yummy! We have never dined inside, but the staff is always very friendly when we pick up our order. I would recommend this place, at least for sushi!
