I accidentally walked in on a Monday which happened to be one of their closed days and I didn't realize--but despite that they still let me place an order. I ordered two large cupcakes for a gender reveal that was happening that following Saturday. I picked up the cupcakes that Saturday, and from the get go the cupcakes felt loose in the box which worried me. After a short walk to my car, I opened the box and saw that one cupcake had been flipped upside down and the other was crammed against the side, smooshing the icing. There was no support system in the box so the cupcakes were destroyed which was a bummer because I could tell the design was beautiful. I know I absolutely could've turned around and went back inside, but with it being 4:30 (half an hour before close) and the same afternoon dad and I were supposed to find out the gender--there was really no point. The cupcakes were absolutely yummy and we're really happy with the gender, I'm just upset there seemed to be no security in the packaging.

Came into Arlington for the first time. ( we moved from CA to Lake) StevensWe came across this bakery on our way out of town and decided to stop. The staff was very friendly and gave us tips about the town.We bought cherry danish, some cut up apple fritter type cake and a rustic bread.Everything was soooo fresh and tasty...We decided it's worth an occasional ride back to try out other items in the shop including the cinnamon bread , cinnamon rolls and their gigantic sized cookies! Oh and other breads as well.4 stars for now until we try it all

I've gotten a few yum yums from time to time and everything is fantastic. My personal fave so far though were the absolutely delightful Pride cookies Hammond made in support of Arlington's 2nd annual Pride event. They were absolutely delicious! Even more importantly, I especially appreciate Hammond's support of Pride and the LGBTQ community. We are blessed to have businesses like Hammond who are genuinely welcoming and do not discriminate. Thank you, Hammond, for being as amazing as you are delicious!

This is a Happy Place! Every time I stop in for a Scrumptious Sweet or Fabulous Bread I am always greeted by a Cheerful Helpful employee. Plenty of Charm here! I have also noticed recently that they offer classes on occasion, I'm definitely looking forward to attending!

Great little spot in downtown. I came in here for lunch on a slow Wednesday. The lady who greeted me at the counter was very friendly and happy to explain all their sandwich options. I opted for the chicken salad on a croissant, and a raspberry croissant to take home. The chicken salad was fresh and flavorful and I liked the sweetness the grapes added to it. They had many options for bread loaves to buy, and I will probably be coming back for their sourdough soon. The only thing I would change is it was pretty gloomy, wish it felt more welcoming!

I come to the Hammond Bread Bakery every couple of weeks and it never disappoints. Fair prices and if you get there early enough, you have the best chance to try everything for the day. Staff if always as nice and have no problems answering questions about their items.

Pleasantly surprised. I had the strawberry and cheese danish, with a small coffee. Everything about the danish was good. It's noon so they seemed pretty low on stock of a lot but they were rebuilding. The cookies looked well made, you kinda have a sense that a cookie that has a little love put into it. I will definitely have to try other things. The inside is cozy, they have a covered outside picnic table and a bench that is covered. It looks like they make handmade sandwiches too but there was literally only one left. I would like to see what this place offers early morning. No picture as I was liking what I tasted plus I am partial to buying danishes when it comes to pastries. The staff is alert and with manners. Overall a good vibe. I could see them expanding to a bigger spot if business stays good.
