Hammer's Good Time Emporium

I love this eclectic place. The crowd tends to be very mixed and the wings are great. It's right near the delta museum (also, check that out)! But the drinks are good and affordable and they have a full bar. I try to stop in when I'm in town. If you are staying at a hotel around the airport, I would stop in. fYI, it is a mostly open air smoking lounge.

It is a dive bar in Hapeville with a lot going on. Don't come in with a lot of expectations, be surprised. There's a beach volleyball court, I've never seen anyone play, but it does add to a positive, fun vibe The food is bangin'. I had the peel'n'eat shrimp - And I ordered it because of what other patrons have said about it. They do it right, and it is delicious. Well cooked and not served too watery. The wings were also really good, if I hadn't been eating all day, I probably would have eaten more.Drinks are stiff, bartenders are friendly, great to have a neighbourhood dive bar like this.

Hammer's is a divey spot with great service. Our drinks were perfect while we played pinball, pool, and Keno. Our waitress was amazing, very personable, and thoughtful, she made the visit extra special. We ate before we came so we didn't order any food but I saw a plentiful Chef Salad go by that I would absolutely order in the future. Smoking is allowed in this establishment except for cigars but there is an outdoor patio where cigar smokers can go. There's a fairly large parking lot.

Unsanitary the glasses at the bar that are in plan sight have dust in them and the table service is horrible..:( No Airconditioner so it's hot and if you're not a smoker get ready to smell like cigarettes and breath in smoke all night

I went to Hammers on a Friday after work & got hammered!!!! I shot some pool & had a burger. My burger was really good!! This place definitely has a good vibe. There is a sand volleyball court that was very active pre-Covid but no one was playing this night. This place is nothing fancy. AT ALL but if your looking for a good time, good drinks this is your place.

I def enjoy coming here for the company, but the drink and food service is horrible. I've been twice, the first time after waiting 20 minutes and never being served, we left. We decided to give it a second chance because we wanted to check out the volleyball court, and it took a while to get a drink, and the volleyball court was reserved so we weren't really allowed to play. Apparently you need to reserve the space, and get a ball. Otherwise, the plus side, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was fun! Lots of open seating that makes you feel like you are outside of Atlanta (could go without the cigarette smoke though).Will come back just because it's a unique concept, and I'm convinced there is something I should be doing to get better service.Also - 2 drink minimum!

The most fun hole in the wall bar that you could never find near the city of Atlanta. I love the mix of demographics, old ,young , all different races. Music is always on point and the drinks are strong. You got a check it out.

When staying by the airport you need to check out Hammers. I've been to hammers a lot, and there's nothing bad on the menu. Salads to Mexican this place is the dive bar you might never check out. Do yourself the favor try it you won't be disappointed

It's very clear that this location is not professional at all. This was my second time there. The first time I thought that the reason why I was greeted and properly was because I did not have my ID when I asked for a drink. I completely understand that because every bar must ask for ID. But this was almost a year ago, what this part did not understand was this was the week of my birthday and I decided to come back and get a drink Just Me Myself and i. When I walked up to the bar I noticed that the bartender already gave me a certain look, couldn't understand why. But I proceeded anyways assuming that maybe she's just having a bad day or going through whatever she is going through. I sat on one side of the bar realizing that maybe I was too far from the other people that were ordering on the other side so I decided to cross over so that way I could communicate with the bartender. She still continue to be rude. I don't know if she was having a bad day I just felt like it's not fair that she decided to put this energy on to me. I tried to ask about different drinks and different foods but the whole time she still had an attitude. I still ordered my food and even though I tried to ask for forks and knives she didn't offer me anything but I waited until the end of my meal and by then it was too late. I really did not enjoy my time there. When I went to pay I realized she charged me 18% on top of the meal. When I asked around all the other people that were eating told me that yes she definitely did charge me more than she was supposed to. I low-key feel like this location is possibly favoritism and racism. How in the world am I getting charged 18% tip just because I'm asking questions? The bartender also said that I was talking s*** to the other guess that we're eating when in reality I was just asking questions about how long this place has been open for. I was just asking about the history of the location and the vibe and the energy but somehow I got treated as someone who came here to argue and fight. I had every right to yell at the end when the bartender got rude and told me if I could not afford the food then why did I come there to eat! Not realizing that she was talking to a hair stylist who just came from doing her clients hair. I really wanted to ask her if you're not happy why are you even there working. And the fact that I took a picture of the bartender because she wouldn't give me her name! She said she would sue me but how can you sue me when you are a servicer servicing someone who comes to pay you and you're being so extremely rude! I'm pretty sure there are cameras around sue me I'm waiting for it! Because I have my proof as well!

Crystal is an absolute delight. I look forward to her margaritas every time ! Great service and food is always fresh!
