We recently went to Hamdi and from our initial interactions with the staff all the way to the dessert, it was a wonderful experience. The food was so good and this was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to a medium rare. We'll definitely be back!

Probably one of best experiences I've had in Seattle in a long time. The atmosphere is transformative, the music spot on, the service friendly, welcoming, and authentic. And the food is worth all the hype. The chef and kitchen delivered flavorful masterpieces that each wowed us.

OMG every single time .... mind blown! Hamdi is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. It's a bit of a journey for us from Sammamish , but so incredibly worth it. We always order practically everything off the menu and every bite is so perfect. My husband is from Turkey and he loves chef Berk's elevated and creative twist on his fav home cooked meals. The Dolma was an extra memorable new plate for us, and Omg I woke up dreaming about it. Of course not the typical Dolma but an inspired creation that was just so amazingly delicious. And Katrina, his lovely wife who runs the show, is always such a fantastic host, we always feel like we are amongst family. Tonight the whole team outdid themselves, and we can't wait to go back very soon to try chefs' ongoing new creations and spectacular staples that we love so much.

We've been dining with Hamdi since the popups and we enjoy it each time we get the opportunity! I love the low lighting of the restaurant and the candles at each seating arrangement. Our toddler loves to watch the open kitchen. Super kid friendly and we're appreciative of the employees entertaining our daughter in passing. Our favorite dish we always get is the lamb kebap - moist and deliciously packed with flavor, yet still balanced. We always try the new dishes we haven't seen on the menu, such as the Turkish dough with beef toro (forgot the names), celery root with smoked yoghurt, lamb shoulder, and the house made ice cream and custard. Everything is always amazing here, I don't think we've ever had a bad dish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner with family or even date night.

Food is great and service is good. However, the 20% surcharge in addition to tax and tips, is kind of crazy. Before this, the highest surcharge I saw was 10% when traveling to Bay areas.

It's an absolute No for me. To say I am disappointed it's the least I feel about this place. We had a booking for 4 people. When I called to push the booking for another 15 minutes the host informed me that they will be definitely out of the signature steak. So who doesn't want to try that when she is telling you it's the reason why people come over. So I ordered one. We showed up and we got few appetisers. That weren't cheap but I was shocked with the sizes they are so tiny it's sad. The dolma plate that count as a main dish is one or two cabbage leaves stuffed with not sure what and have soupy looking thing on top it. That didn't test bad but holy moly I have never seen a dolma like this and I am a Middle Eastern( Turkman) Not sure which cuisine cook the dolma like this. Anyway hubby and my friend ordered the plates that have freakeh and lamb shoulder. They plates again were small for the prices you are paying you would at least get a medium size. Wait I haven't talked about the salad I kid you not the salad is a small bowl that is filled with salsa mixed with something spicy. The soup were two tiny lentil soup.. my friend's husband ordered the freakeh by itself since he doesn't eat meat and yes it's a tiny bowl as well. Like imagine the amount your toddler will eat that's is the amount they have. Anyway my steak came at last after everyone was done eating. The steak has been cooked for hours I guess but it's still raw hmmmm the steak by itself is $160 dollars. The service was okay nothing stands out. So our total was kid you not almost $400 dollars and we left hungry and unhappy. I am so so disappointed honestly and I know the owner will not be happy with my review but honestly as an elite I need to put my honest review.

Epic gem in Ballard. A Turkish colleague told me about this gourmet upscale restaurant and boy was I not disappointed. Everything was absolutely exquisite with so many nuances, textures, and flavors. Also very warm and helpful staff. Sober and tasteful interior. We started with the Urla and Dara cocktails, both super tasty and elegant. Our apps were Kereviz, Köfte, and Pide, all outstanding. Our mains were then Dolma and Kebap. We had a Lebanese red wine with the main course. Finally, we had to try their desserts and went for Haytali and Mmromoeo, both heavenly. A couple of Turkish coffees and we left, very very satisfied. Highly recommended. Parking is a bit challenging but we drove around and finally found street parking.

It's easy to see why the chef/owner of Hamdi is a Michelin-star chef - everything was truly exceptional! Each dish we ordered boasted exquisite presentation and unparalleled flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant radiated sophistication, paired with a warmly inviting atmosphere. Service was impeccable, highlighted by a proactive response to a minor miscommunication, where the kitchen graciously extended an apologetic gesture with a complimentary appetizer. While the dining experience at Hamdi's may lean towards the higher end of the spectrum, the exceptional quality and attention to detail make it a worthwhile investment for discerning diners seeking culinary excellence.

If you like fine dining and are not super new to fine dining; or if you like tapas portion and are an explorer eater, you'd LOVE this place. I love this place for the creative dishes. Taste, presentation, color, fresh ingredients and more. It's a la carte instead of tasting menu which works out great for us trying it out for the first time. Everything we ordered was AMAZING! I especially love their coffees. Yes we ordered them each twice! I do have to point out it is pretty pricey here and there is an automatic 20% service fee added to the bill that's retained by the restaurant, not staff. So keep that in mind.

Excellent food, bartending and waiting needs improvement. 4.2 ratingThis is a beautiful restaurant with a soft, intimate atmosphere. Whoever designed it did a phenomenal job. It feels like Revel used to in the old house but much better. Lightening and decor are superb! We liked several dishes and splurged in the poterhouse. was good. I mean how can't it?! It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well and the sauces especially the hot one was wonderful. That felt price little outrageous at $190 given they probably pay about $60 or less for that meat. The best thing we had was the yogurt, tahini, pomegranate molasses, quinoa, and pine nut dish.I didn't care for the salmon roe being mixed in to that particular dish. The whole point of row is the experience of it popping in your mouth. The wait staff was hit or miss. The turkish man was wonderful. I didn't like having so many people interrupt us all the time. It was anxiety inducing. But I understand they are trying something different. I would recommend giving people ample space for the guests, some people were to close and a wee aggressive. Don't ask how we heard about you in the middle of dinner, for example. Good job, a few improvements would make this truly excellent.
