Hallava Falafel had one of the best fries in town. The double-dropped cook made the fries extra crunchy and addicting, especially with a side of garlic sauce and hummus! That was the item to get and quite honestly, the only one worth spending money on. When I last ate at Hallava Falafel I found this food truck at the Washington Brewers Festival, so needed a full meal for some dinner, especially after all that booze. I of course ordered the fries, but with a shawarma sandwich with. My meal was over 20 bucks, which was overpriced. The shawarma sandwich itself was nearly 13 bucks, and sadly, it wasn't worth the steep price. Though the lamb and beef was tender in the sandwich, there wasn't enough of it for the hefty price tag. Also, there wasn't enough lettuce and pickle, and I didn't even taste the Russian beet sauce that it supposedly came with. The housemade tzatziki was very good though. I love Mediterranean food, so had high hopes for Hallava Falafel. Unfortunately, I only enjoyed the double-dropped fries and would recommend going somewhere else for a main entree. Good place for a snack, but wouldn't bank on this truck for a meal.

I got a shawarma sandwich and garlic fries for lunch from their food truck one day, and both were delicious. The shawarma is lamb and cow married with tzatzaki, lettuce, and their special spices wrapped in a pita. Before I ate it, I was leery of the $10 price tag, but I would pay that again. The bread was thick, hot and perfect for holding the innards. The meat was seasoned just right. The garlic fries were a large portion! And talk about garlic! Lots of it, served with two sauces, hummus and tzatzaki sauce. The hummus had a strong healthy dose of garlic as well. I probably killed ten vampires within a 100 yard radius wherever I walked that day.The gal that took my order also handed it to me out the window. She was polite and efficient.I found their food truck at Occidental Square. I don't know how often they frequent this location.Food: 5Service: 5

I stopped by this food truck today in Occidental Park in Pioneer Square with my coworker for a workday lunch out. We went around 1:15 pm and there was no line, pretty sure they closed shop at 2 pm. We ordered:- feta fries- salad- schwarma sandwich- squirt sodaI enjoyed my sandwich and the fries were nice and crispy loaded with some yummy toppings. I am a ketchup fiend though and the truck didn't have any. Kinda expected it since it was a falafal truck, but the girl can always ask lol. Overall the service was really good and the guys in the truck were very nice. Typical downtown priced lunch though, sandwich + soda was $13.

This is by far the best falafel in Seattle!!This modest yellow truck lives primarily in Georgetown catering to the lunch crowd in the surrounding area. I usually get the falafel salad. The falafel is always made to order ensuring that is always hot and crispy on the outside. There is nothing more pitiful than lukewarm, mushy falafel. The pickled stuff that goes on the side with some hummus and hot sauce makes this a true winner. The double dipped fries are also pretty good (not sure what makes them double dipped). For the fries I usually tack on a sprinkling of garlic and feta to make it a real breath killer although they do charge you an additional $1 for each addition. Since it is a food truck, its pretty much al fresco dining with some picnic tables to sit on. Check them out!

Was in the area for the Georgetown Carnival and been meaning to try this food trailer for a while now. My friend has been here before and she said it was good so we got in line. It was to be expected the line was going to be long during a carnival/festival but the crew/staff were working pretty hard to get the food cranked out. I tried their Falafel sandwich, very delicious! Moist falafel on the inside, nice and crispy crunchy on the outside, nice pita bread, plenty of tzatziki(sp) and a briney little pickle with lettuce and beets. One of the better falafels I've had around here and definitely worth getting again. A little messy but I dont mind it, makes it that much better. By request, they will make a vegan version too. About $8 for the sandwich, and a nice Vimto soda to wash it down (taste like Big Red) and I was good to go!!! I do like that their logo kinda looks like Danzig....hahaha! Nice!

The super owner had his truck parked at the Elysian 20th anniversary party. We decided to go with his truck because the food getting kicked out smelled and looked delicious. It was well worth it. The owner was super nice and his grill cook was equally cool. Most importantly the schwarma was killer. I mean I'd commit a misdemeanour and insult your grandmother to get some. The last time I had schwarma this good, the cooks were arguing in Arabic while I was drinking chai. Don't think about eating here, just do it.

I was disappointed with the falafel sandwich. The falafel sandwich was pretty bland. I tried their mix of garlic and Greek fries. The fries come with tzaziki and hummus and were nothing to rave about. Portions were on the hefty side. The lines for this truck are always quite long and I was excited to try it, but most likely won't be coming back.

This place easily has the best fries I've had - it's not exactly how they're fried, but the awesome sauces it comes with. Tahini never tasted so good. For the rest of the meal, I get a combo so I don't have to choose between falafel and schwarma, though if I had to choose, I'd get the schwarma because I haven't had anything quite so tasty. And I found out they can throw it on a mixed salad instead of into a pita so I can justify eating it more often.

I just had Hallava Falafel when it was parked at Barnes & Noble in Bellevue. I got the Shawarma sandwich. It was a wrap-style sandwich, served in a pocketless pita - stuffed with veggies (beet, spinach, cabbage) and shawarma (seasoned lamb/beef)... then topped with tzatziki. Overall, it was the perfect lunch for me - not too heavy, not too small. The shawarma was pretty good. The pita was like... perfect - just the right thickness. The veggies inside were fine. The tzatziki sauce was really good. Overall, it was a solid sandwich - it was a bit messy (it was stuffed to the brim), but it was served in a paper wrapping that helped. They have some sriracha available - and I kind-of wish I'd put some on. That would have made it slightly better.Service was super fast. Maybe it was too fast - the sandwich was good, but could have been elevated if the meat was fresh and hot, and the pita was delightfully warm. Price was good ($10). They were also selling a falafel sandwich (same as what I got, just with falafel instead of shawarma) and some fries (served with tzatziki and hummus for dipping).
