I stopped in with my mom early morning on a Thursday after a gym class (it's all about balance) and they had plenty of selection with a line out the door! I'm not a huge donut person (usually opt for a scone or croissant instead), but OMG THESE WERE SO YUMMY!! We got a mounds old fashioned, la canela old fashioned, and a bananas foster bombas. The next day, we came back for an apple butter old fashioned and a bombas of every flavor for the plane! The donuts are such high quality, so fresh, and such delicious flavors (not artificial tasting at all)! The baker was so friendly and gave us some recommendations both times, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town! If your cup of coffee is looking for a sweet buddy, look no further!

Half and half has the best old fashioned donuts. Their fritters are also massive. Their mochi donut is so soft and chewy. There's not really seating but in the summer they put tables outside.

Amazing doughnuts and fresh made to order breakfast sandwiches and drinks. I ordered way to many doughnuts but I had to try them all! They were all delicious but my favorite was the classic old fashioned. The banana fosters doughnut was also a close second! My two toddler boys, husband, and I devoured our doughnuts before we started exploring the city. It was the perfect start to our day! Happy Eating!

I visited Half n Half donuts while visiting Seattle and cannot recommend their old fashion donuts enough. Delicious, light and fresh, they are served up by a lovely lady who owns the shop. I noticed their connection to Hawaii as they make mochi bite donut holes among other Hawaiian/Japanese treats in addition to the more traditional ring and old fashioned cake donuts. Super warm and nice folks working there and can definitely recommend stopping in for a donut and coffee if you're in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Lovely spot.

Nice find in Capital Hill. Local coffeehouse and donut shop. Fast service. We sat outside at the small tables. Leaves were turning red which made it special.

They're overall okay - I like the mochi best. Amply filled - if filling is what you crave then you won't be disappointed. I would purchase again if I happen to be in the area but I wouldn't go out of way for them. There are just too many other doughnut spots that taste better IMO, and that are also way cheaper, way closer, and have parking. We took a bite of each and called it a day, which never usually happens as we're big doughnut fans. The only one we truly disliked was the spice ball.

Half and Half was awesome! I am so glad that I found this donut shop!I had the black and white flavor old fashioned donut as well as the La Canela flavor old fashioned donut. Both flavors were delicious. I am usually not a fan of an old fashioned donut, but these were different, and I am a fan! The donuts were fresh and had a delicious taste and were moist.It is a small shop with a very hipster type of vibe and my wife and I loved it. I definitely recommend half & half for delicious donuts!

I've been coming here a few times a week for a couple years now. Some of my favorite coffee on the hill and definitely my favorite selection of treats. They offer savory and sweet options which is a must for me. Any of their tropical flavored donuts are amazing but my favorite right now has to be their incredible mochi donuts(way better than the chain ones in my opinion).The employees are very sweet and make an effort to remember you if you come in regularly. Can't recommend it enough!
