Hala Shawarma & Falafel

Stopped here for a quick bite. Just one customer waiting food, but nobody at the counter. A few mins later a gentleman showed up from kitchen and took the order. He said the wait time is 15 mins after I placed my order. Looks like he was preparing the food food as well. Kind of a one man show! Hardly 3-4 tables, ambience is quite casual. Around 15 mins later my food was ready. It was warm and well packed. Ordered chicken shawarma sandwich. But the outcome was very disappointing. Hardly authentic. No flavor at all. Tahini sauce was added to the order, but didn't add much flavor to it. To be honest very disappointed. $11 for a such a sandwich. And the wait time! Not really worth it!

Was a spur of the moment decision to stop in... on first impression it is a small specialty grocery I believe Afghan, wouldn't know they served food. When I asked was shown a menu and they helped identify what was available with minimal waiting. I highly recommend the potato filled bread. Will definitely return for more. The sandwich was unusual, large portion and overall good - looking forward to exploring other options and hopefully order ahead for items identified as for a family or take longer to prepare. Please note it is definitely take out only was very reasonable for the amount of food.

So I found this place on google, but it wasn't on Yelp. It should have been on Yelp. They are absolutely delicious! I'm currently sitting here wondering why I kept eating. Then I remembered it was great! I got the Kompo meal which is BBQ meat and it was tender, juicy, and a very nice portion. Enough of a portion that I can have seconds and feel this way again. They have a very wide selection of food and drinks. They are kid friendly and willing to help with diet restrictions. There is no pork on the menu due to Halal preparations. Which isn't even a problem because if you eat this man's food you probably would never miss pork. Over all a must try, great service, great food, great prices.

Their Chicken Shawarma Sandwich is the best I've had in a very long time!! We ordered catering from this place for Amazon and it was such a hit, everyone took stacks of the leftovers!! I have never seen our managers enjoy a meal this much before. We regularly cater from many different restaurants and it's safe to say that this place is beyond amazing. PLEASE try the garlic sauce, it is HEAVENLY and I wish I could buy jars of it!!!

Moved from Cali to Washington a couple of years ago and I have been craving for a good Mediterranean food and saw that they have a 5 Star rating so I decided to try it. The lady was the cashier, the cook and the server. Talk about one woman show! This alone is not good if they can't even afford two people holding the fort it means they're not doing good and no repeat customers. We ordered the combo, beef, ground beef and chicken kabob and the steak kabob meal. It was the worst food I ever had! All the meat was really tough and very dry! It's like it's been sitting for hours and they just reheated it. I asked for butter for my rice and I was told that they do not have butter. I asked for the sumac spice and she sprinkled a bit on my rice. Very stingy on the spice. She wouldn't leave it on the table because she said she uses it for cooking! The only edible on the plate was the humus and the rice. we couldn't eat the meat and we hoped that she doesn't save it and serve to the next customer!Negative zero rating for this place!What a waste of $48 for two meals!
