It saddens me to say, but quality has gone down this past year. I've been going to Hakuna Matata for years. They've been my standard for the area. The food always tasted fresh and the workers couldn't have been more nice and polite! Just the most humble people. However, this past year things are different. The menu changed a little, which was a positive, but the flavor also changed a bit. Not as full or deep. Today was the worst so far. My chicken gyro completely fell apart. It was like the veggies were too wet. The service has also gone downhill. Lately, the person taking the order hasn't been as friendly. Today, the lady just handed me my sandwich and stared at me while the drive thru window closed. No words, just an awkward stare until i drove away. It was weird.

Awesome shawarma! Super sweet young lady behind the counter. Some of the tastiest seasoned fries I've had anywhere. A little bit pricey but well worth it. Oh and get the falafel!

Quick drive through with fresh food and great portions! Their prices are decent as well. Only con is their baklava is not made fresh by them- it comes in a package. The shawarma and chicken over rice are excellent here. Great place to come for a quick and delicious halal food!

Amazing food and even better service. The young lady at the window will have me coming back, just for her friendly personality. We drive from Lockport just for their grape leaves. Give them a try!!! You won't be sorry!

Never coming here again. Was swindled\upcharged $5 for hummus (never orderered it) and TWO sides of tahini (just asked for a side, which I should get for FREE, was given two, and made to pay an extra $1.50).Then despite five people working in the kitchen, I had to wait 30 MINUTES for my order while customer after customer entered, in person and in the drive-through, got their food and left.Never. Coming. Here. Again. You people suck.

Hakuna Matata is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every need is met. The food is nothing short of spectacular - every dish bursts with flavor and is beautifully presented. The food is always fresh and delicious. Only the best ingredients used. My favorite are the chicken shawarma, falafel, hummus and pita bread. I've been there several times and I always want to try something new, however, I always stick to the shawarma because it's delicious! The service is amazing. Fast but fresh. The place is clean and they have a drive through making it easy to pick up a call in order.
