Haidilao Hot Pot - Bellevue

I was skeptical about Haidilao, seeing all of the social media posts..it seemed almost too good to be true. While the cost vs value is probably better at other hot pot establishments, the overall experience, attention to detail, and service are top notch! This is also a very modern, clean, and classy restaurant.First off, they offer hair ties for anyone in your party that has long hair. Next, if you wear glasses, they offer lens wipes knowing your glasses may fog up and get some splatter during the meal. Then comes the aprons - yes they provide aprons to help protect your clothes throughout your meal experience. The soup base options, different veggies, and meats/seafood were really good. It might seem expensive at first with the a la carte pricing, but it really fills you up quickly - looking back, we could have ordered less.Complementary kids meals are also provided upon request that includes dino nuggets, fruit, custard bun, and yogurt drink. And they also have a kids hot pot combo plate that comes with veggies, corn, fish, spam, noodles for $6. If you have kids or if this is your first time, make sure you order the Dancing Noodles. It's cool entertainment and some pretty good noodles too for $5.Seasoning bar is $4 per person and allows you to be creative in coming up with your own original dipping sauces. It does include some snacks, cold appetizers, fruit, and dessert as well. On your way out, don't forget the complementary ice cream. Best value is during lunch hours Mon-Fri where they offer lunch specials. 3 hour validation is now provided in the building parking structure and a huge plus! Overall experience was excellent!

Excellent food and awesome service. This is our first time here and Jaun our server did an outstanding job with explaining how the ordering works.Good ambiance and clean spaces!We are coming back for more.

We definitely had a great time, they got a nice set up where everyone can pick their own soup base and then order items ala carte. The sauce and snack bar is extra cost, but was definitely delicious to make your own combos. They have a huge choice of items and meats, but it's overall expensive compared to other hot pots in the area. They do deliver good quality though. Service was excellent and they do validate 3h parking downstairs in the garage.

I would highly recommend the happy hour offered either at this location or the seattle one. they run really good promos like 1.99$ angus beef trays. super good deals and you can eat as if it's all you can eat and bill comes out to be like 35$ which is crazy. the quality of food here is quite solid. also look on instagram for those "secret codes" where you can get some free little gifts lol. I don't highly recommend on regular pricing as it gets quite expensive for very little meat, but a pretty solid place otherwise

I want to start off by saying the service was great! We can on a weekday with a reservation. We were promptly seated, our water was consistently filled, and they even tolerated us saying the "secret" phrases. The food was good, it seemed slightly less addictive compared to some other hot pot places I've been to in the past. The hand pulled noodles were delicious, but the portion size was pretty small for the price, we ordered 4 portions and still wanted more. Spicy broth is spicy! Ambiance is nice, I love the neon signs everywhere. Some slight congestion can occur at the sauce bar. There is a parking lot and they can validate parking. Don't forget the free ice cream when you walk out!

It is a bit fancy and pricey for hot pot but it was worth of trying. I ordered 4 different soup bases, vege combo, tofu combo and 3 different meat choices. Warning: Spicy mala soup is really spicy! I would order medium spicy next time and maybe 2-3 soup bases of what I liked the most instead of 4. You can also take the leftover soup bases too. I enjoyed making my own dipping sauce. Also, they offer free snack bar while you are waiting to be seated and also on top of sauce bar inside. Oh and don't forget to grab an ice cream on the way out. Staffs were caring and service was nice. I can say it's family friendly place and they have small gifts for kids too.

Absolutely love this place. The best thing is the service here, every server I have had at HaiDiLao has been amazing. There's also free parking for 3 hours which is great. Lines are always long here but they take reservations. I love the combo deals in the morning and the cheap meats at night. I always get the mala with beef butter. Always order Napa cabbage, baby squid, Wagyu beef, beef tongue, taro, celtuce, and dumplings. Embarassed to say how often I come

First time here. Finally!!! We came in the afternoon when it wasn't so crowded yet. The food was wonderful, the soup bases were amazing, we picked four different ones to try. Food came extremely fast and fresh. Our server Rachel was amazingly quick and super friendly. She checked in on us all the time to make sure things were good, helped us to make sure the soup was fresh, and helped us to have a big smile when we got some goodies at the end!!! Woo hoo!!!! Even big kids want toys sometimes!!!! Haaaa love it here, thank you for making our trip fun Rachel!!!

The food and service are great! Mark is super nice and sweet, he helped make good recommendations of the food, and regularly checking our needs. I would highly recommend the place!
