Came here for lunch with my two friends. The drinks were amazingly refreshing. The seafood pancake was also surprisingly delicious as it was crunchy and chewy at the same time. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was spacious. Wished they would close the door for the restrooms though. Parking was easy as there was a parking lot.

Disclaimer we did come right before closing so i can't say a lot. The chicken was fire and really well seasoned. The spicy octopus was a little too painful for me my butt was feeling it. But the pancake and jjigae were good but nothing stand outish. Vibe was good and water kept coming cause i was dying good late night spot

I got the bibimbap with crispy rice delivered and I think this is as good as it gets. I enjoyed the dish thoroughly and it was also nice that they packaged the banchan quite beautifully. It's too bad that I probably won't be able to visit the actual restaurant because it's too far, but at least I have access to it via delivery!

Haenam Kalbi & Calamari was a hidden gem that we found off of a tik tok in Shoreline, WA! They serve a variety of Korean dishes including Kalbi, Kimchi Jiggae and even Bossam! I always come back for their Osam Jumulleok pictured above. The dish is their calamari, pork belly and pork shoulder in house spicy sauce and I normally add 2 extra servings of potato noodles to share. It comes out to around $34 for two people, so we spend less than $20 each, which is hard to come by in Seattle! The calamari and pork are well cooked and seasoned and the dish is not too spicy at all (would say between mild and medium). After cooking for a bit, the noodles also soak up the sauce and become nice and chewy. This entree also comes with 1 bowl of rice and banchan (Korean side dishes), which they let you refill!Inside the actual restaurant itself, there is a nice amount of seating. I have never had a large group of friends come, but it seems like it would be able to accommodate many people! They have tables with and without grills, as they also offer korean bbq here. The service is also pretty good. They are very attentive to when we like to ask for additional side dishes.

Haenam Kalbi is a hidden gem in Shoreline, WA - really impressed us with its delightful menu. The tteokbokki was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet and with the perfect chewy texture. The spicy raw crab offered a bold kick, and the doenjang jjigae was comforting and savory, making it the perfect dish on a cold day. Enjoyed the cozy ambiance and array of dishes offered.

We found this spot when we were just searching for restaurants to eat near the Shoreline area and I have to say Haenam is an amazing spot if you're in the mood for Korean food. We've been here a few times now and the food is sublime. It is a little pricey but it's so worth it since you get all the flavors in your mouth and it's just a good time. The service is always nice and prompt here since it's a relatively small restaurant. Definitely one of our favorites for Korean food in the area! Give it a try!

This place is fun because they have so many options and it really is a great place to sit down for a while with friends and fill the table with side dishes. I have had better bossam but I've also had worse and I definitely still enjoyed myself. Their galbitang and seollangtang is solid, not as good as hanbat seollangtang in LA, but can't complain. It feels like eating a meal at home here and it's a good experience to share with others But the food itself while good will not blow your culinary pants off.

I went here with a friend to try the specialty calamari and spicy pork (pork belly, pork shoulder) plate (Osam Jumulleok) and hot stone bibimbap with spicy pork. Food was served relatively quickly alongside Banchan that's fairly decent and somewhat different from normal Banchan, with the spicy tofu. I overall enjoyed the osam jumulleok that is fairly spicy and a bit on the salty side, which pairs well with the more mild and less salted bibimbap. The bibimbap is good value, but would be good to have the rice more crispy and flavorful. There's not that much meat, so the other dish supplements it fairly well. Service overall is good, and overall this is a solid place for grilled plates.

Ok had to come back here for their Bossam again. If you're craving meat, but want something cleanser (less greasy) than KBBQ, definitely give their place a try!Bossam is pork shoulder boiled in and a bunch of different spices (secret ingredient is coffee!). You eat it with their pickled radish, soybean paste, and cabbage ALL IN ONE BITE. I also ordered their 떡볶이 (spicy rice cakes) and it was delicious! It's definitely on the sweeter and less spicy side compared to other Korean restaurants but it's still delicious! I love how it had a good ratio of rice cakes to fish cakes. I also ordered their steamed egg, but sadly I was really disappointed. It tasted really burnt even though it wasn't burnt at all. Not sure how this happened..; won't order again.

Incredible place! A tiny hole in the wall in the most sketchy mall area and neighborhood I've ever been to, with the most delicious food. It's a small restaurant with a diverse authentic menu with food that's clearly best experienced dining in. While they do offer takeout, it's obvious that most of the dishes are to be enjoyed in person when served fresh and hot. I cannot recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back.PROS:- A delicious whiff of the most incredible smell hits you when you enter the restaurant. - No waits if you arrive in between rush. We arrived a little before dinner rush and did not wait to be seated.- the food came out instantly once ordered and was absolutely jaw-dropping delicious. The raw spicy crab did not disappoint, the food tasted authentic and was well portioned. - we didn't order the drinks but there was a wide array of it, I plan to try one next time. - the servers are attentive and when you press the button on the table someone immediately follows up- the side dishes are unlimited with your food and was incredibly tasty.CONS:- parking can be difficult during busy hours - sketchy strip mall with random shops - not inviting - the waiting area for pickups inside the restaurant was right in front of us diners which made it pretty awkward.
