Hacienda Real - Fulshear

So yummy! I tried something new this time- the Camerones hacienda- six perfectly grilled bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalapeños, served with rice and beans- I added queso blanco and it took it over the top! The goodnight margaritas are still my fave too! Service is always great! It's an easy place to hang out and enjoy a meal.

First time here. Came in just before noon on a Saturday. Dining area was fairly clean but the floor was so greasy that I had a hard time not slipping. For such a large building, it's very small inside.Can definitely say that I won't be back. Didn't take a pic of our food. Food was beyond bland. I sometimes feel like white peeps get the generic version of ethnic foods at certain restaurants. To me, this was just like Lopez's Mexican food - clean and blah. By this I mean that the veggies were fresh but meat and everything else was lacking flavor. Queso had no Mexican flavor, spices or peppers. Kinda tasted like jacked up Velveeta - like added some milk n other cheese but that's it. Tortilla chips were way too thick and hard on your teeth. We both had the 3 crispy ground beef tacos that came with rice & beans. It was a large plate of bland food. But I will say the rice was pretty good. Everything was lacking flavor. If it hasn't been edible, I'd be much more upset about the cost. 2 of the 3 taco dinners, queso, 2 Cokes and it was $56.

Had a great first dinner in Houston! I landed yesterday afternoon and my friend suggested we get Tex Mex, which is always fine with me! I came here last time I visited and wasn't disappointed. This time was no different. We were seated in the patio, and it was a gorgeous night. Right off the bat we ordered margarita flights and guacamole. There are tons of flavors of margaritas you can order from, which I love. I ordered lime, coconut, watermelon, and passion fruit. The watermelon was my favorite, I love all things watermelon, and it came with a tajin rim! The guac was good, super fresh. There were massive hunks of avocado in it and I prefer a bit smaller- but that's just personal preference. To eat I got steak fajitas with corn tortillas. The steak was seasoned wonderfully and tasted great with the tortillas. I wish there would have been more peppers with the veggies and sour cream served with the plate of items that come with them. The beans were great that came with the dish, and it also came with rice. We'll probably be back next time I visit. Already thinking about what flavors I'll get with my flight :)

Have been here a few times and food is always good. Great new outdoor location that was built recently for some outside seating. Love a good chips and guac! Fajitas are usually my go to - I feel like you can't go wrong

This is a nice, local, and homey place with plenty of parking. I almost gave it 4-stars, because some things a honestly a bit overpriced. However, the customer service alone is worth the 5-star review. Despite the fact that it was a busy Friday night, we were treated as though we were one of the only customers there. Any time I had a question, the server was near by and happy to help. The drinks were really good (try the strawberry margarita!) and the quality of the food was great. Portions could be a little bigger for the price. Overall, this restaurant had family vibes and I would highly recommend it for any type of scenario, i.e. date night, family night, business meeting, etc.

Really great experience tonight. I think they've improved a lot over the years. We typically thought their takeout was better than dining in but tonight my opinion changed. Very fast and friendly service. Everything was clean and there were lots of people tonight but they didn't have any issues. The food was delicious. The queso came out and they actually flambéed it which we did not expect. The enchiladas were delicious and I loved the charro beans. The large Margarita was enough for one person. Everything was exceptional. Will be dining in more often.

This is my local Tex-mex place. I've been multiple times and they always have great service. I love their enchiladas. My wife especially like the chicken sour cream enchiladas. For me, I'm a big fan of their Tampico plate, the Cochinita pibil, and the mole enchiladas. Last but not least, they also have good margaritas. I like this place. It's a neighborhood restaurant and has a neighborhood vibe. I'll keep coming here.

Josue was a fantastic server for our large group. We sat on the patio and it was wonderful and comfortable with the roof and fans. Their drinks were great and we especially liked our white queso and queso flameado appetizers.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! We needed a table for 12, we were offered a table for 7 and told the other's in our party could stand by the table. I've never been to a restaurant where half the people in the party are told to stand! We asked if there was room on the patio so we could all SIT at the table. We had to move 3 tables on the patio ourselves to accommodate our party. We sat and were told to wait a little bit to order. IT TOOK AN HOUR BEFORE THE SERVER CAME TO OUR TABLE!! By the time he came to take our order no one even wanted to eat anymore. We watched people come and go while we sat and waited to place our order. A dinner that should've taken 45min max took 2.5 hours!!This place is not worth it. Food is mediocre and service is awful! We definitely will not be back!

Service was rushed even though the place was near empty. Server actually tried to take my plate while I was still eating. Food so-so. Drinks good.
