Hacienda Grill

Tried their Asada Burrito, California Burrito, Breakfast Burrito, Asada Fries and they were delicious. Also went on $2 Taco Tuesday and tried their Asada, Adobada, and Fish Tacos. They were also really good. Great service, hot food, cold drinks, and friendly staff. Recommend you try them out.

We ate there for the first time on Sunday 5-5-24 approx. 2 pm. I really want this place to be good, because it is close and we need a good sit down Mexican food place in the Jamul with quality food. We were greeted and sat immediately. The menu has a good variety of dishes. We ordered beverages, I had an Iced Tea and my wife a Cabernet wine, we were also given water. The server was friendly and prompt, we were given chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and salsa was tasty.I had the Fajitas Supreme and my wife had the Chicken Flautas. I must be honest, the fajitas were not grilled, and we're cooked as if steamed. The shrimp and chicken were rubbery and the peppers and onions were not crisp. The beef was horrible! It was inedible, it was grissly and tough. (See picture). The chicken in the flautas was very dry. We will give this place another try, but the cook needs to look at the quality of the food they are serving if they want to build a good business. Jamul has great, faithful diners who will continue to patronize any establishment that provides good, quality service and product.

Went to get takeout & heard the food was good based on FB reviews. It's local & we like to support local. We got home, the chips were stale. My chicken enchiladas were beautifully presented & the chicken was old, withered & dry. Not edible. I ate the toppings, rice & beans. My husband's tostada was edible. I've posted a picture of the chicken. Really wanted this place to be good - they're close, lots of parking & service was good . They've also deleted several menu items & haven't been open that long. Won't be back

Food is really good, service is good, I recommend this place The adobada is the best I had and the birria tacos are soooo go

Food presentation looked pretty decent. I got it to go. Digging into the nachos I can see it was drizzled with a little bit of nacho cheese, chipotle sauce sour cream and lightly sprinkled with Mexican cheese. Again lightly drizzled just barely enough to taste it. The meat was ok. The nacho chips were good but a bit salty the red and green salsa helped. It had a little bit of guacamole for the amount of food. Overall they tasted ok. Might give them another chance. They just recently opened under new ownership and honestly I was not impressed. Customer service was friendly and relatively fast. Price was a bit high. Really wanted to like the place since it's the only Mexican food restaurant in Jamul.

Delicious food, I enjoyed the Taco Gobernador, full of delicious sautéed shrimp and cheese and the fish taco. Everything is made in house, salsa and sauces. Service was friendly and fast. Sorry no photos, I couldn't resist eating right away!

New to the area, the new management here has cleaned up quite a bit. The service was good and the food was EXCELLENT, AUTHENTIC Mexican food. We had a shrimp quesadilla and a crane asada quesadilla. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and plentiful. The carne asada was also very very good. Both quesadillas were huge. We will be back!

First time here was craving for chorizo breakfast and found this place ,Came with a friend and had the chorizo chilaquiles and my friend got some steak and fries with eggs so delicious ,I also ordered coffee and it was in a Mexican cup with some cafe de la olla man that was soooo good. We also got the bottomless less mimosas Our server provided excellent service and was great to us.. love this place you can't beat the $10 unlimited mimosas.

The fish and shrimp tacos are delicious! The owner is super nice and the guacamole is excellent! Service is fast and excellent

The food is fresh and amazing, the place is bright, and light feeling. Service was good. A definite welcome to the area
