Gyro Heroes

Friendly people, delicious, convenient and healthy food! Sad when they run out of their baklava which is apparently from Turkey. Quality is about 90%. So 9 out of 10 times it's great. Then you get something that's not so great because you know their food too well. We have this place on our food rotation list ever since they took over the Baskin Robbin's. They do drop off the list whenever we hit a bad one but make the list again after some hiatus.

Everything was prepared so perfectly. The dries were crispy to perfection, the pita was so fluffy and warm. Everything was delicious! I'll be back

Everything tasted really good, just wish they hadn't run out of hot sauce. Only complaint is that we got take out and it took 30 min for the food to come out, next time we'll def order ahead of time. Loved the falafels the best. Fries were pretty decent too, I would definitely get again!

This local business offers delicious food, generous servings, and good value. The interior is comfortable and attractive, with solid wood tables, quality chairs, and an attractive feature wall.I was craving a vegetarian meal tonight. The lentil soup was well spiced and wonderful to sip on a cold night. The felafel was tasty, a little drier and crispier than I prefer, but still good. The roasted cauliflower sandwich was delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

So disappointed. I ordered a gyro salad to go. When I got home, 45 min away, I discovered they gave me a sandwich instead. This is not what I was looking forward to. This is the second time they have messed up my order in a row. :(

I was planning my shopping list to make some middle eastern dishes at home, and I shouldn't have been doing it on an empty stomach! I got a major craving and found myself in the Admiral area of West Seattle while doing my errands. And there was Gyro Heroes, a place I had noticed before, but hadn't really considered. The stars (or my stomach) aligned to make this visit happen. I pulled into one of the parking spots in the lot they share with Starbucks and entered the clean, plain shop. The menu choices were above on a board, service is at the counter. I decided to check out a mixed veggie sandwich, which came with falafel, cauliflower, hummus, tomato, lettuce and cucumber. I really liked that the sandwich included cauliflower, something you don't see in a lot of gyro shops, but you do see in middle eastern cuisine. Their fries looked amazing, but I skipped them post-Thanksgiving indulgence. For $12, this was a fast, healthy, tasty little meal! Request some "hot sauce" to spice up your sandwich. Not sure what theirs is (harissa?) but it was a good addition to this particular sandwich.

Wow the food at this place blew me away! I've been meaning to check this place out and after an appointment in West Seattle, I stopped by to order takeout. I ordered the gyro plate and the greek fries. They had a tv playing a world cup game so that helped pass the time pretty quickly - maybe just under a ten minute wait. The guys working behind the counter were very kind! Excellent customer service. The food was incredible. The smell on the drive home was irresistible. The flavors are amazing. And the food is very garlicky which I love. The Greek fries which are covered in spices and feta and white sauce was delicious. And the fries were cooked perfect. Like a nice crunch and crisp on the outside, but fluffy inside. I loved these fries. The gyro on the gyro plate was soooo good. Tender pieces of yummy meat. The rice underneath was good and with the white sauce, every spoonful I ate was so good. The plate also came with this cucumber and tomato salad which was refreshing. And there was also a piece of pita bread and a dip (wasn't hummus but maybe a white colored dip (maybe tzatziki??). It was so much food! The plate and the fries is like two or three meals worth or definitely good for sharing. They share a small parking lot with the Starbucks and they take credit card. Enjoy!

I've been a regular at this amazing Mediterranean restaurant for a year now, and it never disappoints! The falafel is consistently full of flavor, making it my go-to dish. The service is always fast and efficient, which I appreciate, especially during busy times.The cleanliness of the place is impeccable, contributing to a comfortable dining atmosphere. The food is not only delicious but also very affordable, making it easy to come back often. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting environment every time I visit. One of my favorites is the veggie falafel burrito with hot sauce and rice - it's super flavorful and a must-try for any falafel lover!After a year of frequent visits, I can confidently say this restaurant has earned a special place in my heart. Highly recommended!

Rating: 3.5/5My experience at Gyro Hero was a mixed bag. While the food didn't particularly stand out in terms of flavor or excitement, the portion sizes were generous, which is always a plus. However, I found the prices to be a bit steep for what was offered.The highlight of my meal was the pita and the Greek salad that accompanied the chicken plate. Unfortunately, the chicken itself was a bit dry and bland, lacking the juicy, flavorful punch I was hoping for.The ambiance and service were satisfactory, but nothing extraordinary to warrant a higher rating. If you're in the area and craving Greek cuisine without wanting to travel far, Gyro Hero could be a convenient option. However, I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to return. Overall, it's a decent choice if you're looking for a quick Greek fix nearby.

I've tried every greek place in King County and this one takes the cake by far. My partner and I always order at the end of our workweek, as a little treat. It's a bit pricey, but nothing around even remotely compares. The team members are treated well and have awesome customer service. I wish there were more locations!
