Gus's New York Pizza

This review could have been a 4 or a 5. Continue reading for deductions.So our normal pizza spot was closed as it was after 7:00pm. So I started Yelping other pizza locations with delivery, so I saw a name I had had the pleasure of enjoying, and they had the Largest Pizza Pie I have ever seen with my eyes. So I took a gamble with Gus's Pizza.I was ready for anything but cooking, so I checked the yelp and found the flier with the website, so I loaded the site up on my tablet and read through the menu and prices were not out of this world so I called in a basic order at 7:22pm24" Two Top Bacon, Pepperoni No Sauce $26.9924 Wings (would have been fine with 12-nice and meaty more Medium or HOT, scary but still good) Nice work Gus's $25.99and an order of garlic twists - amaingly tasty $5.99 (We found for my families g.i.r.d simplified and made almost any pizza anywhere a flavorful experience you we did not have to worry about.So laterally my guy sayse they should be there in about an hour.Sounded busy, and so I usually try to give them the benefit of the doubt. So I keep myself busy with some social media doom scrolling and already adding up the bill I was ok with not cooking and not having to clean up.So around 8:27pm p.m., oddly the same number I called went to voicemail. I figured they were busier than even I thought. I tried to brush away the thoughts that something was not right or the delivery driver may have got lost. So I I try to call again at 8:28pm and same response went to voicemail. So I chill a bit mor and wait 10 minutes and call at 8:39pm, speak to my guy he apologizes and says his guy will be there in 5-10 minutes and he will have the driver call me. So I hear my phone buzz and I figure this has to be the driver guy, so I answer, he asks again exactly what the address is and I say it slowly and clearly as I muted the tv when the phone rang.And he says the same, I will see you in 5 or so minutes, I tell him the street to go north on and make a left on our street and tell him what car is parked in the driveway.So I had my son sitting af the front door in an office chair watching for a car to pull up front. Well, we have waited some more, and then we saw lights on the camera, and I sent my son out of the garage to meet the driver in the driveway. And I clear the table as my son walks in with what my memory see is a largest pizza on the online menu at the middle of the menu on www.orderguss.com the 32" pizza that starts $11.00 more the then what I thought we ordered.The order was warm (curiouser how they kept all of hot for almost 2 hours) but I digress, because the last thing my son showed me was a pen with 3 pieces of paper and the total of $80.76...What in the Fuzzy Nuggets, and how did the bill get that much higher.It is now almost 9:00 pm, and my son needs to eat and start the nightly rituals before he goes to bed at 9:45 pm.So overall, now having enough food, I will need to freeze half because on a rip roaring day, I could have polished all 24 wings off. They were meaty enough. i think I got to wing 8.**Note** always confirm order whether it's loud or not, and confirm your sizes and totels before you give a card number.Sadly, there were no pictures - I could not touch my phone with wing sauce everywhere.We will see what happens next time

The Nightcheck at our hotel recommended Guys' Pizza for us; they were worth it and they deliver to your hotel room (or is that normal? I've always picked up deliveries at the front desk). We ordered the 2 pizzas, 2 topping deal with a salad and cheesy fries. The pizzas, cheesy fries and salad: 9/10. Recommended! Especially for those evening/late night eats!

This place did not disappoint! Our kind of environment. Just missing video games for the kids to be occupied. The ladies made you feel comfortable (like family). Pizza was excellent! Normally I have to throw napkins under a pizza as soon as they deliver to soak up the grease...NOT at Gus's. It was cooked to perfection. The wings were scrumptious. And they had a full alcohol bar. The ranch tasted homemade (I could have drank it). Great overall experience.

Horrible pizza horrible prices and horrible delivery, ordered 2 extra large pizzas 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni and half sausage, waited 3 hours for delivery, no cheese pizza on pepperoni and on half sausage and pepperoni, tasted worse than Pizza Hut, 45 minutes late on delivery double the price of Pizza Hut, Barf!!! Called in to ask why it was so late, they said it was fight night!? Now to fight for a refund??

I tasted the hot chicken wings, it's not bad for me but my husband likes it, i like the pizza it's melting in your mouth. the second one we ordered was honey barbecue chicken it was super good i liked it not too sweet or tangy just good barbecue. the spivey with ice cream (dessert) it was good but you should eat it right away cause the cookies and ice cream complement to each other (it's not sweet) (i'm not a fan of sweet). The ambience was good, typical pizza place. The service was kinda slow they only have one chef (maybe because it's almost closing) but the freshness of the pizza and wings was perfection. So i would definitely recommend this place to eat.

Portions are okay but I wouldn't order here again. Fettuccine Alfredo was bland, had no flavor and missing salt. Just tastes like cheap Alfredo sauce from a jar & noodles. Pizza was okay

It is a good neighborhood pizza joint but in my opinion they don't cook with love. Especially the wings they are always over cooked and over seasoned when it comes to lemon pepper. But it's my opinion however they are friendly and reasonably priced and a good hangout spot.

Although it took forever to get my food delivered, it was worth the wait. The lasagna didn't have ricotta cheese but the recipe was tasty. The wings were too hard for my braces but they were good. I am sure I would have enjoyed more under different circumstances.

Service was great! Seemed like a family business, everyone was friendly and just talking was like great entertainment. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a big meal, and they took longer for an item but made it up for giving me free fries. The food was so worth it. I've also seen them donate to special causes and hold fundraisers. I love this business!

I've been a long time customer, I thought I was good friends with manager I always purchase my hot wings from him and I asked if he could give me a deal he proceeded to agree and give me a discount. It's usually $25 but he said he'll take care of me if I just come down to the store. When I go pick up the food, I was still about to be charged $25 but I spoke up and said the owner said $22 but then I see the owner has my order under as "cheap Muslim". I give him my hard earn money and loyalty and behind my back he talks about his customers like this. This is unprofessional and I will never be returning here again!!
