Guerrero Taco Shop No 2

I've been here once over a year ago and i decided to pay them a visit and order something. I was very disappointed to learn that they deceive customers thinking their specials advertised outside in a big board are a good deal when seeing the price but when I asked they said that's old and their price is higher than advertised. After that i decided to leave and weeks later they continue to false advertise those same fake deals. The place doesn't even look that clean and they want to charge a nice restaurant prices.

I work nearby, plus that's my name on the sign, so I decided to check it out. I was pretty hungry on my lunch break, so I ordered the asada plate, listed at $11. I thought, wow, what a great deal! Apparently, it was too good to be true because after placing the order, the cashier looked back and asked the cook about it, and I overheard the cook say it was now a different price. Without verifying with me, since I wasn't part of their conversation, the cashier gave me a different total. I asked how that was right when the menu says otherwise. The cook then stepped forward and gave me his reasons. There was no mention of updating their menu. I decided to go ahead with the order, though I felt misled. Their front window says they accept credit cards, but when I tried to use one, I was told cash only. Thankfully, they have an ATM. Upon opening up my order, I noticed they had given me the wrong kind of tortillas. These few things added up for me... Besides that, THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD!

I eat here when I'm stuck at the shop. Best Cali burrito around. You get a lot for your money, the California is really big enough to be two meals.

This place really made me question if I should eat at these hole in the wall places again. They had one guy working in a very small area where you can clearly see into the kitchen. What grossed me out is that this guy literally sneezed into his hands and then proceeded to make the next order. No washing his hands, no hand sanitizer, nothing! It was disgusting. What made things worse is that these tacos are some of the worst I've had. There was almost not substance and meat/fish. It was pretty much just lettuce. This surprised me because the pools of grease on the bottom you'd think there'd be a lot more meat... If it was cheap I really wouldn't mind, but 4 tacos cost me a little over 15 dollars! There is no reason anyone should go here. Save your time and money and go to a cleaner and better quality taco shop.

The rolled tacos are very good. This place is in a busy area near auto repair shops. It's hard to find parking. Mainly take out due to Covid restrictions, but the tacos are very good!

As usual my ratings for taco shops are much more strict than my other ratings for other businesses. A rating of 2 stars is not a bad rating it's just not great.We stopped in here on a Saturday because we drove by and saw the place and it looked good because it's a small hole in the wall shop, my favorite kind. The food was good, fresh and hot. There was no salsa bar that I remember but they did give out squeeze bottles with salsa in them so that's a bonus. There is only 1 parking space and the rest is street parking. What really made this place memorable was that when we walked in it smelled incredibly clean. I like to promote good food safety but also found it odd that a tiny taco shack didn't smell like mexican food. This place was good and I would stop in again, but it's not special trip worthy.

This place is shady, I ordered the #14. Guy said that is not the price and went ahead and charged me $11.58. I said you should list the price correctly then, he brushed me off with an "Yah ok". Still even then he guy trends to shorted me $2 when giving me my change.

i used to think they were cool but when i bought a breakfast burrito for $11.00 dollars and they charged me $3.50 for a can soda that is ridiculous but i guess to each is own i just wont be coming back anymore

Hole in the wall for sure, but breakfast burritos were delicious and filling! Prices are up like everywhere else, but so glad they are still in business! Ordered takeout by phone and they were ready when they said they would be. Will be back to pick up breakfast or lunch again and again next year, for sure!
