Gruby's New York Deli

we were looking for something new to try and online reviews said Gruby's was a definite to check out in the Atlanta Perimeter area. we got the open brisket beef sandwich - which came with fries and coleslaw - as well as a potato knish and veggie wrap - got the wrap on a sub roll and substituted coleslaw for the cucumber salad. the cucumber salad was really good and excellent flavor and tasted homemade. the fries were also good and tasted homemade. the brisket was a large portion and had good flavor (tasted like a debris poboy) and the veggie wrap was a large portion and decent - although wished the bell pepper and mushroom had more flavor. it was my first time having a potato knish and it was average. overall huge portions and good food

Always a great place for lots of ball soup! I'd make a point to get a large order to go every time! The Rubens sandwiches are excellent. The bread is good Services fast and friendly. What can you ask for! Very loud here so it's hard to connect meetings just FYI Will return again and again for sure!

Best corned beef sandwich and cole slaw consistently for years of enjoying this place...service excellent too! I'm not in the area as often these days, but look forward to it when I am, like today.

This is the best Jewish deli in Atlanta. 15 years ago right after my daughter was born in Northside hospital the first meal that I brought to my wife was from this wonderful restaurant. Today was a walk down memory lane and a good one. Their sandwich menu is incredible. They offer so many good choices and above all they have wonderful coffee. The service was great. The restaurant is clean. I brought with me a first timer, and we had a wonderful lunch.

Everytime I come to this deli the service is always fast, accurate, pleasant, and such a great experience.Not to mention the food is actually good. My favorite thing to get is the sausage, egg and cheese on a Kaiser roll. My only complaint is I wish it had larger or more sausage.The vibe is very mellow, a ton of older people frequent this location. Definitely recommend giving them a try!!!

Great Deli with plentiful offerings Gruby's is located in a small plaza, East of Northside/St. Joe's/CHOA hospitals . With that in mind, I waited until around 1pm to go, avoiding the lunch rush. It was quiet for this time of day, but you can tell that sizeable crowds patronize this restaurant, just by the ample seating alone. You'll know you're in a good deli when sandwiches made with more meat than bread, so Gruby's will be right up your alley. I ordered the regular (large) Greenwich Village (very tasty) and as with most of their sandwiches, was served with slaw & pickle. Some would say that the sandwiches are a little expensive, but considering the area, and the fact that the sandwiches are stuffed, I'm amenable to the prices. The staff were very helpful with my questions and had great timing throughout the course of my meal. Check out their latest menu. BON APPÉTIT

Best Balls!!I'm talking about their matzah balls!!Someone brought me matzah ball soup and I was beyond impressed with their softball sized matzah balls!! The picture doesn't do it justice, but it was 1 matzah ball per plastic takeout container. Soup was a bit salty, if you're watching your sodium, but tasted pretty good. I also got a tuna sandwich. It was just meh. Not as impressive.

This place is great if you want to be served by a blatantly racist owner that will purposely make you feel that he doesn't want you to eat there. He forgot my cheese so I had to eat half of it without it. We asked for no cole slaw he still brought it. Way to show a patron that you really just do not care. Thank God he had other people working there or we would've gotten anything we needed

The absolute worst run deli I have ever been to. Been living in Sandy springs for over 20 years and this place has been run in the ground the manager is disrespectful and just don't give a crap about his customers . Will never go back !

I have been coming to Gruby's since 2005, but no more! Ordered a Reuben previously and a corned beef yesterday that barely had any meat on them. Cold slaw container was not even full and lacking in taste. Was once a good restaurant...would not recommend.
