Don't judge this book by its cover. The dingy strip mall liquor store vibe made us question the high ratings and we may have considered driving away. We were both glad we didn't. The sandwiches were fresh, delicious and a terrific value for the meager price. I got the beef pastrami and it was awesome. The meat was melt in your mouth and the bun was soft and perfectly toasted to give it a nice crunch without the sharp edges. My wife got the Italian and loved it. The staff was friendly and it's apparent why they have a faithful local following. Definitely recommend it.

I ordered two sandwiches through GrubHub, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion, Swiss cheese, green peppers and mayonnaise. I wish that is what I got, but I didn't, there was a sprinkling of mayonnaise no onion, one piece of green pepper that looked like a green M&M that somehow made its way onto the sandwich. The bun was so dry I nearly choked on the sandwich. I also tried the potato salad, which was very good tasted similar to what you would get at Costco or the grocery store. The Italian sandwich made up for how bad the Philly cheesesteak was. I think someone was having a bad day when they made the Philly cheesesteak similar to the day the Philadelphia eagles had against the Kansas City Chiefs. That being said the Italian sandwich was absolutely delicious and the only reason I'm giving four stars to this restaurant/grocery store. I really wanted to get five stars but I could not excuse the absolute poor quality of the Philly. It was pathetic. I will def. eat at this place again, simply for the Italian sandwich, wish I could've said the same for the Philly cheesesteak. The bread on the Italian was fantastic as well!!!

Still the best subs in town. Call ahead and they will have them ready for you when you get there. And man, that homemade bread they use is to die for!

Really enjoyed my Italian sandwich. Like stated in other reviews, the owner and staff are very friendly. They use premium ingredients and their bread is fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is like a New York corner store.Give these guys a try!

Can't beat the food in this place. As close to a NY deli as I have in my neighborhood. Marty is fantastic and the kids he hired are polite and capable.

Based on the pictures and reviews, I was expecting a lot more than this sad looking beefstrami. Very little meat, one single slice of tomato and little onions, compressed and flaky bread, and cheese that I didn't even realize was there but was melted between the meat. Compare mine to the other pics on here and something is quite wrong. It's obviously not the same sandwich place it used to be. Higher prices, lower quality and smaller portions. What a shocker these days.As for taste, it was one-dimensional. No flavor aside from the meat which tasted strange. Definitely no cheddar or mayo flavor despite being on there. The teen who helped me was nice, but based on the worker conversations and who was loitering around, I have a feeling it's stoner feed made by stoners. Sorry, but unlike what I was told by the guy helping me, I most certainly was not 'missing out' by not trying them before. Especially not for over $10 before tax!If anyone with taste buds is reading this, please save your money and go somewhere good for a sandwich, like a certain place off Raintree with a well-warranted five star rating. As for here, it barely gets two.

Been coming here for a year or two now and Marty and crew never disappoint. Quality sandwiches loaded with toppings and Boars Head cold cuts & cheese. Very friendly staff who greet you and thank you when you leave! If you are in the area check it out and get a Beefstrami (My favorite).

The hype is real. Great deli sandwich. I destroyed the beefstrami. So good. Great bread and meats. Its a low key convenience store in an undistinguished corner strip mall. Totally worth a shirt drive out of your way. Fast service, very friendly staff.Don't continue to pour your money into crappy sandwich places like Subway, Jimmy John's, etc. Support a local place that has really great sandwiches instead
